This was an ideal place to lodge for vacation in Wyoming after a long drive from Texas and not knowing what to expect upon entering the parking lot. The site turns out to be a nice resting place and a short drive to Yellowstone and affordable. The staff was very polite and cordial and the rooms were clean with cleaning being done upon request, so you don't need to worry about if items are missing, etc. The breakfast might have been a little better, but I guess you cannot go wrong with cereal, coffee, and a Danish to get your day started, The cleaning crew was nice and even engaged in the conversation.
The stay was made wonderful with the front desk staffer named PJ he was great and put his face to the Super 8 by greeting you each day with a smile and always staying busy to ensure whatever breakfast items needed to be placed out for guests were available, even if you did not dig the frozen items. It did not bother me because I was not there for the food. PJ had a wealth of information to share in my opinion, particularly in helping ease my trip up to Yellowstone, and is the epitome of customer service. PJ you rocked the HOUSE!!!! Thank you for making my stay pleasant.

I rarely leave reviews good or bad. I will now. This motel does more than allow dogs...it accommodates them! We rarely travel overnight with our Labrador. But our business trip to Cody Wy did not work with our usual dog-sitter's schedule. We switched our reservation to the Super 8 By Wyndham motel when we saw their policy allowing dogs. First, the rooms, hallways, lobby, etc. were clean (and odor free). The bed was comfy, plenty of pillows, good coffee in the lobby. They allowed us an early check in too...thank you for that!
What was unexpected was their wonderful trail system right out the back door, designed specifically to accommodate dogs! The trails were lit, they had multiple poop bag/trash bins handy, even benches to sit on along the trail. I noticed immediately, not one poop pile, on the trail, but many bags in the poop bin. My explanation for that is that folks are so appreciative of the convenience that everyone is willing to clean up after their pet. We have points and "honors" at other hotel chains, however next time in Cody, whether Waylon is with us or not, we'll stay here.

The people here at this hotel were so kind and friendly, from the main desk staff of Kim to the cleaning ladies and especially PJ who was so polite and even offered our dogs some treats!
We specifically stayed here because of the ability to stay with pets, and they had a nice dog run out back with bags and it was clean and had no poop from other animals. They appeared to keep it in tip top shape. The room was clean, clean and comfortable sheets, and the property in general was nice.
I would highly recommend staying here again to anyone, especially with traveling animals.

The hotel accamodations were just fine, but when I made the reservations for our stay June 24 to 25 the internet page kept going back to the date I reserved June 18 and I thought I had finally changed it to the correct date, but unknowingly it changed back to the 18th and so we were charged for a no show of $239.76. I know the rules of booking, but this was not intentional. Please check out your booking page to make it easier to book the date. J. Pampus

This Super 8 property was the cleanest stay my husband and I have ever experienced. We have booked with several Super 8 hotels over the past 20 years. Bar none, this location was the cleanest Super 8 we have ever experienced. The attention to every detail was amazing. From our room to the lobby and the outside just totally wowed us! Not a speck of trash anywhere! Very nice "Super Clean" walking space for our dog behind the building. My husband stated how nice it was to have such a clean room, for once. We wish all Super 8 properties were as clean as this property. Hat's off to the team in, Cody, WY! Others Super 8 owners/staff should visit this location and use this location as a teaching tool for their locations. Just confirms a person shouldn't have to spend hundreds of dollars just to simply have a clean space to spend the night. Lastly, very happy this is also a pet friendly property! Well done Cody, WY! You definitely have the right staff working for you!

This hotel has a great location and is super close to the less busy east entrance to Yellowstone. The rooms were very clean but small. I took off a star because we were headed into the park for a few days and needed to download maps and things and we could not get the internet to work. If you advertise that your hotel has wifi, the signal should at least be strong enough to check email. I would’ve liked the ability to pick my breakfast instead being given a bag full of things I can’t eat. A lot of food got wasted.

The best Super 8 I’ve stayed at. It is so clean and tidy. They were even pressure washing the parking lot when we arrived. The pet area was nice and green and completely free of feces. There is a little trail for pets to walk up as well. Breakfast was nothing fancy but there were frozen homemade omelets to microwave and the usual packaged sweet rolls and cereal. Definitely worth staying here especially if you have pets.

Booking is a scam $127 taxes and fees. I called the hotel for a new reservation transferred to new booking. A central location with a person with a thick accent(Asian/Indian). She asked for the location I said Cody she said where and tried to book me for some place in Michigan.Once we got that straight she quoted $166 per night for two nights. The she went into this several minute read that said this and that and very briefly the total charge my wife thought she’d said $250 (2nights and I though she said $350 but she did not list the charges and went right on to a long cancelation policy. I was withon the policy period so I realized it was not cancellablevand she asked if I agree to the policy I said yes but wanted her to repeat the total charges and when she said $359 I asked for a listing of the charges. “Taxes and fees $127. ( did not break them out) I said no I refuse that she said already booked and cannot be cancelled she transfered to customer service saying they could since it was the same phone call. They would not cancel. As < 24 hours.

Clean Rooms Our 2 AC in our suite was broken, they immediately came to bring 2 new ones. Friendly staff, the gentleman at breakfast and check-out was awesome he made sure everyone felt welcomed and kept filling up the breakfast bar and coffee. Great location for the Cody Rodeo and downtown.

We have K-9's so always looking for great places to overnight with our Golden Retrievers. This property fit the bill! The location is super easy to find and right on the way into the Park. Because of Covid, we are very careful about where we stay. The management of this property takes their cleanliness very seriously. The front check in area was well protected, everyone was wearing a mask. The room was spotless, TV remote was packaged in a plastic sleeve, there was hand sanitizer in the room, and all was very neat and tidy. Our door had a seal on it indicating that is had been cleaned. The staff was super friendly and accommodating. And for the pups, there is a great place behind the hotel for you to walk them (on leash) with poo bags provided if you need them. There were prepackaged breakfast to-go bags in the AM if you wanted them. I would definitely stay there again !!

We have waffles or pancakes. 2 types of cold cereal. Hot cereal. Muffins, toast. Milk, fruit or fruit cups. Yogurt. Hard boiled eggs. Apple and Orange juice. Coffee, tea, hot chocolate.
No, I am sorry there is not a guest laundry. There are a couple of laundromats close by.
