The Cody Hotel garners high marks for its personable staff and Western-themed charm, with guests often lauding the comprehensive service that includes a praised complimentary breakfast. Cleanliness is a standout feature, with spotless rooms and well-kept facilities. While some guests consider the hotel's pricing to be high, others feel the range of amenities, such as pet-friendly options and the convenience of fireplaces and balconies in rooms, justifies the cost. Its prime location near local attractions also contributes to its appeal. However, there are mixed feelings about room lighting and additional amenities.

I would rate this hotel more than five stars if it were possible. The hotel itself is beautiful; lots of families, but quiet enough for couples and even business travelers.

The complimentary breakfast is well done, the eggs are fluffy, and real hot choices are offered every day, as well as waffles.

The pool area is spacious, with rinse off showers, restrooms in the pool area, a nice hot tub, and even a dry sauna. There is a nice workout room, and an easily accessible business area, complete with printer.

The lobby is large, with multiple conversational areas where groups can visit, play games, and just hang out.

The rooms are large and very nice, there are balconies and pet owners are in first floor rooms where they can take pets directly out to the green area behind the hotel. The area was very clean and well maintained.

Everything about this hotel was nice. It is well appointed, elegant, and comfortable. Rooms have dvd players and there is a dvd library downstairs which guests are welcome to use.

As fantastic as the hotel itself is, the people really make the experience great. Every staff member we met was friendly and welcoming, and always looking to help in any way possible.

They offer a shuttle, not just to the airport, but around town. If you don’t have a car, or don’t want to worry about parking, they will take you anywhere in town and return to pick you up. We used the shuttle every night we were there and got great recommendations for things to do and see, and places to eat.

Well! The Hotel is one of the best in Cody and is clean and accommodating. The staff are friendly and always assisting with questions or concerns. BUT!!!! We paid over 400.00 a night ( July 4th of course) and they are now only offering room service if requested. You think paying a premium like this would not only give us cleaning but a bottle of wine. Again they offer it free but you must tell them? Sign on counter while checking in stating that. 2nd The rooms are comfy but you can hear every thing coming from the floor above you. We could hear every time someone above us was walking or moving stuff. Older hotel and sound proofing does not exist here. Would we stay here again. Yes. PS- The cookies are delicious and mostly free of charge.

Everything about our experience at the Cody Hotel was A++. The staff were informative and professional, the room was spotless, and the hotel is perfectly setup for people traveling with their dogs. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. One of the best and cleanest pet friendly hotels we've ever stayed in.

Great place to stay. Great Staff. Our room had a gas fireplace and the room was so big and comfortable. They also are pet friendly. The hotel also serves breakfast and the lobby has a few extra rooms so family can visit with each other in a quiet setting.

The Cody Hotel is a beautiful hotel that enhances the experience of being in the West with its decor. It is conveniently located on the outer rim of town so traffic noise was not an issue but still close enough to access restaurants and other services without traveling a great distance.
The staff was very hospitable and the complimentary breakfast was just what we needed to get our day started.

I looked for the most luxurious hotel in Cody and came up with this. Room was clean, of good size and a comfortable bed and had a refrigerator and balcony for fresh air (but no view, on the 'city side'). Breakfast was simple but fine in a good size very clean room (thank you). A few things to know: the sink is outside the bathroom (hard to be quiet in middle of the night), old TV has many cable channels but no streaming (we purchased a $30 Roku from Walmart across the street which we easily connected), and the staff - some older folks who seemed to not have local knowledge (the ones I spoke with). They were professional, kind and very efficient (these are likely retiree jobs for them). They should've been given more local information - recommended restaurants, where can I buy sandwiches before a trip to park, etc. This is not their fault, they just didn't have the info. It was a beautiful drive to/from YNP to Cody, but one particular mountain pass is not for the scared driver.

Well-maintained hotel, very friendly and helpful frontdesk staff, comfortable and clean rooms. Great location -- easy access to Cosy & surroundings.

Suggestion: to be more environmentally friendly, DO serve breakfast on china vs. disposable cups / plates.

On the plus side, The Cody Hotel has an attractive and well furnished lobby area. The front desk staff were all professional, friendly and personable - special kudo's to "Jim" and "Demity". We appreciate that our dog was welcome and that there is a nice pet area beside the building, furnished with clean up bags and a waste receptacle. On the negative side, the housekeeping staff earned a failing grade. Although our room appeared to have been cleaned, it had not been restocked with the customary coffee/tea/creamer/sweetener and we had to request those items from the front desk. And, while we were trying to take a much needed nap the afternoon of our arrival, housekeeping woke us up by banging their vacuum cleaner against our door multiple times, while vacuuming the hallway. On the second morning, while on my way to pick up breakfast, I discovered a large puddle/spill of unknown liquid in front of the elevators. Because it presented a slip and fall hazard, I immediately reported it to the front desk. And, when it was still there two hours later, I reported it a second time. I was pleased when the front desk clerk took immediate action and opted to leave her station to take care of this potentially dangerous issue. Although a "complimentary hot breakfast" is promised on the web site, the wording has been amended in red letters to read "Temporarily offering minimal bagged breakfast due to COVID-19". We were very disappointed to only be provided with "fast food" breakfast sandwiches, accompanied by a tasteless granola bar. Their excuse that the buffet was not available because of "Covid", seems hypocritical since the juice and coffee dispensers in the breakfast room are openly accessible to guests on a 24 hour basis and are not protected by extra cleaning or other measures to prevent or even limit contamination from multiple users. Furthermore, there were no "complimentary nightly refreshments in our lobby set to the music of a baby grand piano", or a shuttle service, as advertised on the web site. We can't help but wonder if this legally qualifies as a "bait and switch". We feel there should have been a price adjustment for the substantially reduced amenities and low quality breakfast offered. "At $328 for a two night stay (10/16 and 10/17), we feel The Cody Hotel was exorbitantly over priced and didn't earn a favorable indorsement. Let's see if The Cody Hotel has the integrity to offer a price adjustment or even an apology.

The beds are wonderful. Usually we travel with a 3" memory foam pad. My wife has difficulty sleeping on hotel beds since almost all hotels have cheap beds. They provided us with a charging station for our PHEV. We could charge while we went to dinner. We used a free van shuttle that provided prompt service.
Lastly to top it off for you Buckaroos they are within walking distance to the Rodeo grounds.
All around true class.
And I didn't get into the breakfast, pool, exercise room, and most of all the wonderful front desk staff.

Second time we stayed with our standard poodles. They are super accommodating. Rate is fair and place is clean and comfortable. Staff are suoer friendly and helpful. Breakfast is good with different items on 2 separate mornings. Ground floor access for pooches is awesome, grounds are kept well with poo bags available.

Hello there, We do not have a restaurant on site. In July we recommend the Proud Cut, Cassies, or right across the street a great chuck wagon style dinner and show called The Cody Cattle Company.
