Detailed Reviews
Very disheartened to see this campground in the state it is. I took this trip to reminisce with my family from all my trips to this campground in my childhood. It pretty much has not been updated in years! Signs are faded, camp posts with site numbers are dilapidated and falling apart. We were on a Red Carpet site with our camper, and that was a joke! The “red carpet”, which is spray painted cement, hasn’t been sprayed red in years! Majorly chipped and cracking, looks horrible! Our grill was so rotted out on the bottom, it wouldn’t even be able to hold charcoal. Kiddie water park area needs updating. Pool is disgustingly dirty. Slide was never opened! Most workers were rude, except for sweet Nikki from Jamaica who ran all the kids activities, she was great! Very, very disappointed in accommodations, this place needs major rehab and updates, it looks as if they are still living in the 80’s! Pretty sad to see, after visiting it every summer as a child and having great memories, I was ashamed to show my children. Also, if you need firewood, you will pay $8/bundle, and calling it a “bundle” is a shame! I think my Yogi Dells days are over!

My family has been going to this Jellystone for over 40 years on and off. It is time for them to update everything. It's worn out and it shows. You no longer can even get a refund if need to cancel even in an emergency. The 5 days we were there, there were maybe 4 -5 sites with campers or tents being used, yet they made us pay 25 to guarantee our favorite site. We arrived on a Sunday and the store was closed and so was the office. That has never happened at least to us before. The whole trip was dismal. There are just too many good places to go that at least put up a pretense at taking care of the campground and bathrooms, which were not clean by any stretch of the imagination.

First the con of getting a upgrade was used to me and multipul camper I asked. I was placed next to the interstate which is noisy 24 hours aday, forget letting the cool breeze come in with open window at night the noise from the hwy way is unrelenting. Its just after paying almost 4 houndred dollars for a site you picked to get moved to a undisirable site like the one I got because you did not pay 25 lock in fee which is BS. pool bar was a joke one blender and most time he was by himself one drink took 20 min wtf, come on man this is just poor managment

First the pictures of the Lodge on the website does not represent what I walked into on site 153. Dark, dingy full of flys. The futon was a mess also.
So the staff responded to my concerns by setting us up in Cb 13 I think it was. The cabin is certainly an upgrade from the lodge but cleanliness was an issue. The kitchen sink was not clean. Had brown rings in it. I dribbled water on the floor and was disgusted by how dirty the paper towel was.
I sat on the double bed and it felt like a piece of plywood in springs. The neighbors in the cabin that sits back at the end of the road we’re very noisy until after midnight. ( not their problem because we were uneasy about reporting them).
There should be a disclaimer in the web site regarding renting a tin roofed cabin under oak trees in the fall. It randomly drops acorns that sound like a gun shot each time. Sleep was totally elusive during our stay.
So your rules are all about cleaning up the place and you provide only a broom and dish soap??? No bleach or Clorox wipes or paper towels. So we had to go buy it. Again, I was not happy when I cleaned that sink.
All of this would be tolerable if you didn’t charge a rate equivalent to a luxury hotel. Absolutely the worst 450.00 two night stay I have every had. There is no way we will return nor will we recommend your place to a friend.
Thank you,

I wanted to do something for my son 5th birthday so from word of mouth I decided to take him and the rest of my family to Jellystone park. When we arrived check in was pretty smooth the park attendant was very sweet and showed us how to get to our cabin. Everything was fine until we got to the cabin and realized there were no inside plumbing just a small sack that’s not very comfortable without a bathroom. My problem with this is that all the information they give about bringing chairs and how there’s no sheets why couldn’t they also mention that some of their cabins have no bathrooms. My family and I traveled quite som ways and to not be able to wash our hands and clean out bottles is unsanitary. For the price we paid it’s unfair of them to not refund for something they failed to disclose from the beginning, I made my reservation a month in a half in advance and if I would have known we definitely would have went somewhere else. Very disappointed

My spouse and I took our small child to jellystone in wisconsin dells and stayed in a Boo Boo Chalet. Many of the poor reviews had made me nervous but we’re so glad we did it! The 4-sleeper cabin was totally worth the price! If you want to stay in a cabin, I highly suggest investing in a Boo Boo Chalet. The more rustic cabins (yogi & Cindi bear cabins) are still pretty pricey and are very rustic and basic. The Boo Boo Chalet cabins are very nice and, unlike the rustic cabins, they have a private bathroom and shower, a fridge, TV, and porch swing! Their sites are not very private but everyone around us was very friendly and respectful. In fact, everyone at the campground was like that! No one got belligerent, too drunk, etc. It’s a perfect place for families with small children. The splash pad was especially a highlight for our child. Plus, even though it’s only a mile from Wisconsin Dells Parkway, it still felt woodsy. It’s a perfect way to stay in the dells because you can easily access all the parks, shops, and restaurants, but then you can escape the busyness of the area when returning back to the campground.

The facility, while dated is acceptable. What is not acceptable is the constant roar of semis and traffic from I94. It was so loud I couldn't wait to leave. The majority of the campground is LITERALLY right on top of I94 with no sound buffer. Very disappointing as I was looking forward to a restful holiday weekend and it was one of the worse weekends I have experienced in a long time. The noise from the traffic is so loud you are not able to hold a conversation around the fire without yelling at the person next to you. I don't recommend this campgrounds for anyone who plans on spending any amount of time at the actual campground

My family recently visited this campground. What a horrible, disgusting place. First of all, the campsites are over grown, not mowed and they are so close together. The pools weren't open as advertised. Don't even go in their "newly remodeled " bathrooms, you'll find them disgusting and not working. Good luck taking a hot shower. We tried to speak with a manager about moving our site, or fixing our water, no luck. Maybe the rudest person. A lesson in customer service would be helpful. We ended up leaving 2 days early. This place is an absolute joke. DON'T waste your money here.

Yes, there is freeway noise. We knew that before we reserved. It is next to the highway-you will hear some noise. However, my kids LOVED this place (being a parent of 3 young kids is all I need to keep my sanity!!!!!). My kids played in the kiddie pool all day everyday and loved every minute. We had snacks from the snack bar all weekend and they were very tasty! It was your typical chicken strips, etc. They also had great coffee lattes. My older kids enjoyed the adult pool and mini golf. I can't believe so many people on here complaining! This is a great place for kids. Yogi Bear walked through the campground and the kids loved it and walked around with him. There was a play area near our site and we played catch with a fooball and played on the equipment. There was NO problem hearing each other at our campfire! The camp store was stocked well. The staff was friendly and when we had a problem with our waste tank they were there to help. The problem was on our end, but they were super helpful as we are newbies with our RV. The whole place was a great experience and our kids beg to go back constantly!!! If you are a parent who needs your kids to be occupied this is your place. I don't mind a little highway noise as long as my kids are entertained all day!

I don’t know how this park is able to carry the Yogi Bear name. I have been to several and this is by far the worst. The park is right next to the highway so you hear lots of noise and comfort stations seemed like they were never cleaned. Our site was not at all level and we had to climb a hill to get to the picnic table. Most importantly don’t pay extra for that unlimited bracelet. The boat launch was a joke. You walk down this hill to an abandoned shack and you have to call a number to have someone help you. The boats that were down there looked scattered about and broken, and the water looked disgusting. The miniature golf had no walkway to get from hole to hole.
