Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.

Great accomodation Very clean /spacious/ comfortable bed
Slept well
Washer and drier
Cooking facilities

Nestled in a residential area and near a school -so traffic build up during school hours

Definitely need a car as the closest shop is a 10 min drive

A 15-20 min drive to Queenstown
It served us well as a base for our day trips .

Easy to book and kept well up to date with info prior to arrival.

Loved the setting and just loved the planes going over, what an experience. But didn't love the height of the Microwave. I feel this is a real health and safety concern. I couldn't reach the bottom, let alone use the buttons & set anything. My partner could just reach, but pulling out a hot bowl or drink he had to be so careful. This needs to be lowered before someone has an accident. Also we used the Ironing Board for a casual table inside and out, no coffee table when there was room for one. Otherwise very happy with stay...

It was perfect for what we wanted because going to a family party close by. Very clean and great shower! Free wifi. Will definitely stay again for similar situation but wouldn't if going out for a night in Queenstown because it is a bit too far away.

Fantasic place to base your self for a few days in Queenstown. Location was perfect for us, 10mis into Queenstown, 10 Mins to Arowtown, and only 5 minutes to the airport, Cottage it self was new, spacious, clean and well equipped. Loved that it had a washing machine& dryer.

We selected this cottage because it is in Frankton near Lake Hayes, and a bit distant from the "busy" Queenstown. We stayed there for 2 nights. The place was well designed, clean, well maintained, comfortable and quiet. It was on a higher ground well above the houses in the estate. You could sit outside on the bench in front of your cottage watching the plane landing during sunset. No one nearby would bother you.

For those who would like a bit of cooking, there is good cooking facilities. Also, there is a small shopping centre close by. I would stay there again.

This is a very good choice for younger travellers who are fit and well. I have some reservations for older travellers which I will detail below. We found the cottages easily enough although I thought they could be better signposted. The sign at the entrance to the street points in the wrong direction which flummoxed us at first. Our studio is very comfortable and well-provisioned, with a great view of the nearby mountains. We appreciated the washing machine and clothes dryer. We enjoyed being away from the hurley-burley of the ever-growing Queenstown, yet close enough to enjoy all the local attractions. I didn’t find the wi-fi the best, sometimes it would choke on particular sites. Neither frypan is in particularly good condition. Another problem is that the kitchen is poorly designed - too small, with not enough bench space. There is no metal draining board and no drainage rack, and drainage is poor. The biggest problem is the microwave which is installed too high. A person my height (5’ 6”) cannot see the display panel and has trouble moving containers into and out of it, which is unsafe. It should be relocated lower down.As for older, less mobile travellers, some improvements would be of value. There is a fairly rough path from the carpark to the unit. This could be improved by a proper asphalt or concrete path. The entrance is elevated on a deck but you need to navigate stairs to get up to it, which can be difficult with a suitcase. A ramp would be better. Overall though I think this is a good option for most travellers.

A very nice place to stay with all the facilities you could need including kitchen, washing machine and dryer. Spacious room with modern facilities. Everything was extremely clean and comfortable and I really enjoyed staying here.

Gorgeous place but lost a star because from the website photos I was under the impression that it was located in cute isolated area away from things but it is now in the middle of a well developed residential area. It's about a 15 minute drive into the heart of Queenstown so a little further out especially if you've forgotten something!

Stayed here for 6 nights recently and really loved the place. It’s located in an extremely quiet area in lower shotover and not far from the hectic centre of Queenstown if you have a rental car (a must with the pricing and poor availability of taxis).

The cabins have everything required and are really modern and clean, perfect for a relaxing stay after a busy day. The internet in our cabin wasn’t quick enough to run nextflix on the TV, however it was adequate for internet on the phones.

Would highly recommend this accomodation to anyone coming to Queenstown, especially as the price is extremely reasonable also.

Thank you

Perfect, perfect perfect and perfection in every way! Can't believe we only had two nights here, we could have spent a week! This is how you do self catering accommodation, keep it clean, comfortable, welcoming and above all throw in a gob smacking view! Thank you for a perfect stay.

A really nice place: new, laundry, kitchen, great view. Outside of Queenstown but not far if you’ve got a car. Excellent value and I’d recommend it to anyone. Very quiet residential area but the thing is everyone is far away. Dry nice.
