We made the reservation for New Year for 2 days for our trip to Granite Peak. We chose this hotel because it is pet friendly and we were traveling with our feline and the other hotels we stayed at previousely does not allow pets. You can still see some renovation going on when you enter but it looked like they will be done soon. Thanks to front desk we could check in earlier than 3pm and once again many thanks for that :). We only switched king for two queens but it was not a problem for us. The room was great with all the amenities : fridge, coffee maker, microwave, clean and spacious. There are ice machines on every floor if you need them. We did not check the pool but it was pretty occupied with guests. There is also new restaurant at the hotel called Cedar Creek Grill. They offer breakfast and then open at 4pm for dinner. We had tried both options and they were really, really good. We stopped for late lunch after skiing and ordered some fish and drinks. Portions were big and the fish was absolutely fresh. We will definitely come back to this hotel if traveling with a pet. BTW the charge fee for a pet is only $35 per your whole stay.

Chose this hotel because it had queen beds as opposed to only doubles offered at the hotel next door, where the wedding block was held. Completed online check-in and was just given the keys after showing my ID. Had to call for the Wifi code, which had been hand written on the folder that held the cards. Stayed for 3 nights, and found out on the 2nd day, only after going to the front desk, that you had to actually request any kind of service. Was disappointed this hadn't been explained when we checked in. Had to wait for the only person at the desk to run up and get some fresh towels for us while several people waited in line. No extra rolls of TP were in the room. Each morning (around 8-10), there was only luke warm water for the shower. Had hotter water in the afternoon but just hot enough. Everything was clean and the room was nice. The pool area looked very nice. The beds were okay but the pillows just fell flat, no support. Not happy with the bedding either. Attached restaurant was nice (no free breakfast of any kind). It wasn't horrible but would not stay here again. Just felt like they were trying to save pennies and need improvements on customer service.

Typically find this property to be agreeable. Most areas are on par for what you’d expect to find at a Holiday Inn. Some facets of the rooms and common areas are becoming a bit dated and tired but it seems some renovations are slowly in the works. Always find this property to be appreciably clean. The bed linen felt fresh and new also. Decently walkable to a variety of food options and a grocery store.

Pros: room was spacious and clean. Service in on site restaurant was good.
Cons: this hotel is billed as an airport (Central Wisconsin Airport) hotel but is about 6 miles away. They advertise an airport shuttle, but it does not run 24 hours/day. When I checked in, I asked about the shuttle, but it turns out it does not run early enough to comfortably get you to 0600 flight at CWA. I asked the front desk clerk about availability of taxi service. Her reply was “Sorry, can’t help you. We don’t have a taxi we can call.” I did figure the problem out myself, but you would think a hotel advertised as having an airport location would have information about rides there when their shuttle was not operating!

We experienced a blowout on our motorcycle tire on I39 and had to be towed to the hotel. Consequently, our attitude at check-in was not up to par. But, Brandon got us checked in.... then relocated to a second room because of a foul odor coming from someone's room nearby (microwave dinner?). He was so calm and accommodating, I couldn't thank him enough, especially after I screwed up the keys to both rooms. The next day, Paul was also super helpful and understanding of our situation as we got the bike towed and repaired. The hotel's hot tub was by FAR the cleanest we've seen in the last 20 days on the road. The restaurant was too expensive (sides were a la carte) so we were able to walk up the street to a sports bar for dinner. We did have the TV lock up twice, but it eventually cycled its way to being back on. I only wish breakfast was included.

Rooms and people are great. Restaurant, in spite of being booked for a major billiards event which included Allison Fisher, the restaurant was overwhelmed by fewer than 20 people. The buffet was unstocked and light staff was unable to handle things like coffee, toast... The General Manager was unhelpful other than asking if we wanted her to make the food that was supposed to be on the buffet that we waited an hour for. She said there was a staffing problem. Expect delays or eat somewhere else.

It started off with us calling for a room for 4 nights. We always ask if there's a pool and hot tub which they said yes. When we got there a few hours after making the reservation, there was a sign on the desk that the pool was closed for repairs. I asked the front desk clerk who was the same guy who took made reservation, why I wasn't told this when we called a few hours ago, and he said they thought the repairs were nearly completed. However the pool never opened the entire 4 nights we were there. (The hot tub was open.) Also, NOT ONE TIME did housekeeping come by during our 4 nights. We finally got frustrated when for 2 days they wouldn't bring towels, we went to the pool area and got some pool towels. On the 3rd day we also brought our bag of garbage to the front desk since housekeeping never came by. Also on the the 3rd day the TV went out. We called twice for help and each time they said someone would come to fix it, but it took hours. We wrote an email to the manager of the hotel about all this. I doubt they'll respond or even make any changes.

Stayed here while picking my son up from summer camp. This is a nice hotel with clean rooms, comfortable beds, and a nice indoor pool/hot tub area. We had a poolside room that opened into the pool area and had a private seating area. The sliding door to the pool left a bit to be desired, but it did lock and keep the chlorine smell out.
The staff was friendly, helpful, and accommodating. We got back to the hotel late Sat night, and they allowed us late check-out on Sun, so my son could sleep in a bit and get some time in the pool without feeling rushed. Very much appreciated!
The hotel has an onsite restaurant, so they don't offer the typical Holiday Inn hot breakfast. The restaurant was very good Sat morning, but they're closed on Sun and Mon, so you're on your own for breakfast those days.
All-in-all, a very good experience, I would stay here again.
The staff was friendly, helpful, and accommodating. We got back to the hotel late Sat night, and they allowed us late check-out on Sun, so my son could sleep in a bit and get some time in the pool without feeling rushed. Very much appreciated!

Stayed here for a wedding . Room was ready and was good. Staff was good. Only downfall had to walk thru the pool area to get to the expo center it was very humid and you could tell lots of chlorine was being used. Once you get thru the pool are you can tell the expo center was taken care of by different people with seeing gum stuck to the tile floor in a few places before even getting to the wedding
