Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.

We are elated that this lovely B&B is open again, and even better! The new owners are super and our cozy, romantic stay in the Geiger Suite for our anniversary was amazing. A large flock of “winter robins” in the trees outside our window and gorgeous views over the river increased the magic. The big bubble tub sits right at another river view window, and has a step and rail so no worries if you need them, like me. I’m a B&B addict, and St. Croix Valley Inn gets an A+ and I am so delighted this is an option again.

We stayed in the Sunrise room, with it's beautiful window, fireplace and 4 poster bed. The hottub/bath was amazing after a day out hiking and exploring, and to dry off with high-end towels just topped it all off. It felt so luxurious! We really appreciated the quality bedding, too. The bed/pillows/sheets were perfect!

The location of the B & B is great! Walkable to downtown and restaurants, or within a very short drive of others. The hosts recommended a number of great hiking options, as well as the places to shop or dine.

Breakfast was hard boiled eggs/yogurt/cheese/coffee and homemade caramel rolls on our first day (delicious!!) and day 2 were yogurt/granola/berry parfaits. The perfect start to our days.

I'd highly recommend a stay at this charming B & B! Tim and Roxie are wonderful hosts...warm and personable and they have been working hard on their space over the past year which is very apparent! Everything is freshly painted, beautiful, clean and inviting. They have comfy places to sit and read, have coffee and just relax. We'll definitely be back!!

We stayed in the Cascade Room. It was one of the nicest B&B rooms we have experienced. It has been recently remodeled so no hottub as shown in some reviews. The view was everything, absolutely amazing. A lovely sitting room which was just as nice as sitting outside, too cold for the private deck this visit. There is no dinner served at this time. Full breakfast only on Saturday and Sunday but the "continental" breakfast on Monday was very good. The Cascade Suite is right next to the kitchen so not a good choice on the weekend if you want to sleep late, it did get noisy. We appreciated the close proximity to the coffee and snacks.
We had a wonderful two night stay and highly recommend this Inn.

Location was very nice. Inn keepers were friendly. Breakfast was good. Unlike other B&B’s, we all sat at separate tables. You pick out of 3 time frames when you want to eat. We stayed in Tiffany Room. Room was nice, a little chilly. It is in the downstairs. However temperature was over 80 that day and felt
good. Room has door open to a patio with a awesome view. The 3 out of 5 rating due to room. Ours was smaller of all the rooms. Bed was fine, however bathroom has no door that closes it off from bedroom area. The bathroom is one large room with awesome shower head that “rains” on you. But no separation from toilet, or door going out to patio. Figuring out how to add a door for privacy from room and sectioning off toilet would be nice. After someone showers you have to be super careful
Walking in there so you don’t slip. Also door to patio makes it feel weird too

We enjoyed a two night stay at this beautiful bed and breakfast. The views, suites and breakfasts are lovely. Roxy and her husband are very welcoming to guests and give great ideas for fun things to do. There are many wineries, breweries and hiking opportunities in the area! Be sure to allow time to enjoy the patio and balconies!

The host was very attentive, welcoming and available for assistance. The room was nicely decorated with antique furniture and decor. The breakfast was delicious. The inn has a patio with a nice view of the St.Croix river and river valley. Would highly recommend this Inn without reservation.

Everything about this place was incredible! Our suite was so clean and cozy, and we loved the balcony overlooking the river. The owners were friendly and so accommodating. They anticipated every need we might have, and went above and beyond to make this the perfect experience. The Inn was conveniently located - the beautiful downtown area was easily within walking distance. The only negative was that we didn’t plan to stay longer than we did! Highly recommend the St. Croix Valley Inn!

We had the pleasure of staying for 2 nights at the St. Croix Valley Inn. Beautiful rooms (each is different from the next), very clean, amazing home-cooked breakfasts and charming owners. We will be back! (We stayed in the Cascade Room. Beautiful view of the river from the sitting room or the outdoor balcony, King size bed with a comfortable mattress and fireplace.) The owners did an amazing job restoring the building.

We loved the Halloween decor. Our room was perfect with a hot tub and fireplace. The breakfasts were exceptional. Our hosts were helpful and friendly. All of those things made it a tremendous four-day weekend.... But, the most memorable aspect was the beautiful, fall colors view of the St Croix River bluffs and river itself. Gorgeous...with eagles, hawks and countless other birds flying about.
Other highlights were: P.Y.s bar in Osceola, and it's terrific food. The Wisconsin side of the Interstate Park with it's nice hiking trails and views. Lastly, the Dalles House in St Croix Falls. Amazing food and very friendly staff and bartenders.

Wonderful restored inn. Cozy and private. Great view of St Croix river. Attentive staff and a great chef prepared breakfast. The owners have helped preserve an historical building that without their care may have ended its charm.

We stayed in the Hudson Room which had a small, electric mock wood stove. It kept the room warm and there was a nice glow about it. We did look at a few of the other rooms, but the ones you are asking about were occupied so we didn't see them. I believe all the tubs will accommodate 2 people. The fireplaces in the rooms you asked about are most likely gas fireplaces. At any rate, we really enjoyed this B&B and are planning on staying there again in the near future.
