From the moment we arrived we knew we had found our perfect getaway. Rebecca and Grayson are fabulous hosts: warm, welcoming and such fun.
The room was spacious, beautifully decorated and exceptionally clean. The dining room and lounge also were of a high standard and we felt totally at home.
We opted for the dinner package on both nights and were so glad we did. Grayson is a fantastic chef and the standard of food was beyond expectation and incredible value for money.
The location is idyllic with great hiking opportunities and a wonderful way to get away from it all.
Finally we have to say how much we enjoyed hanging out with all the other residents of Lost Forest including the dogs, the friendliest chickens and the highly amusing goats. Cannot wait to have the chance to go back.

We had amazing time at lost forest bed & breakfast! Rebecca and Grayson were incredible hosts. Grayson is a wonderful cook and super nice. Rebecca helped us book horseback riding at the state park down the road. The property has many amenities such as hiking trails and Frisbee golf. A perfect getaway. We would love to return some day.

We had such a great time with Rebecca and Grayson at this beautiful property - the house is lovely and the animals all around make it so much fun. Both hosts are wonderful cooks, and made for an extremely welcoming atmosphere. Would love to return!

Do not book this bed and breakfast unless you do some serious checking first. The previous owners are no longer there. When we arrived first red flag was that the grass was 18" high. Goat manure on back deck. Picnic table sitting in grass grown up to seats. Place around outside was messy with old tarps, falling fences, construction material. We took a bunch of pictures while were waiting for our room. Why were we waiting? We got there two hours after check in time. We had booked the master suite but we were taken to one of the smaller loft rooms. When I mentioned the suite, that's when we found out the room wasn't ready. We were told to wait in the kitchen or living room. Who would wait in the kitchen? The place was was empty, nobody around. We waited 45 minutes, when we were finally shown the room, the bedsheets were still very damp. The place outside was a wreck, we left and I finally got a refund. Pretty terrible weekend. The only thing I'll say is that the place inside was clean and pretty well appointed. Kitchen was a bit of a mess but ok.

This B&B really is in a lost forest. The surrounding area is beautiful and very relaxing. Don was a fantastic, knowledgeable and accommodating host. He provided two home cooked meals (both equally delicious), gave us some great tips about where to travel in the area and overall very friendly. They have an adorable dog, chickens and goats on the premises. Slept like a baby and I definitely want to come back and check out the tree house they have available! It was a wonderful experience and I'm really happy I chose this location!

My husband I stayed here a couple of weeks ago whilst touring around the US. We stayed in plenty of hotels and a few B&B's from LA to New York but this was by far the best place we stayed. It was spotless, really well decorated and in a stunning location. And the couple that run it are really friendly, warm and welcoming. Breakfast was lovely, the room was extremely comfortable. I am so glad we stayed here and I would definitely stay here again if I am ever in the area (which I really hope I am, just so I can!)

We we're greeted with the aroma of fresh brownies and pleasant smiles. We booked the master bedroom which was clean and tidy.
We were the only guests so our hosts gave full range of the cabin and it felt like it was just us there. The cabin is within range of some many outdoor adventures, it was exactly what we were looking for!

If you want to see natural beauty and relieve yourself from the day to day grind while enjoying Grayson's excellent company and executive chef-level quality food and presentation....this is the place to go. Our genuine regret is that we did not meet Rebecca because she was ill. We loved seeing the friendly farm animals. It was the perfect way to experience nature while in luxury and disconnecting from work. We look forward to visiting again and experiencing Grayson's gourmet cooking and meeting Rebecca.

Our stay at Lost Forest was great. Grayson and Rebecca were cordial and friendly hosts. The food was excellent and the B&B was very relaxing. We enjoyed the dinner as well as breakfast. Grayson is an excellent cook and the presentation of the meals was impressive. The house is clean and comfortable and offers the companionship of a variety of animals as well as the hosts. Our stay was quite enjoyable and we would recommend the Lost Forest B&B to couples as well as families. Thanks to Grayson and Rebecca for their hospitality.

We were visiting close friends in the area and this B+B came highly recommended. It certainly lived up to the strong billing. We were greeted warmly by the owner/hosts Grayson and Rebecca ( and the friendly dogs) and led to the spacious Master Suite on the first floor. Plenty of room for our numerous pieces of luggage, a luxurious bathroom and a very comfortable bed. A very private feel. That night we slept extremely soundly and awoke to our breakfast choice of home-baked pastries and a beautifully varied fruit plate--plus endless coffee.
A truly unique experience, combining the best of warm country environment and friendliness and the sophistication of classy decor, food and attentive service. Add in a picturesque setting with the leaves turning--a perfect getaway.
Undoubtedly will stay there again.

The Lost Forest B&B is a perfect romantic getaway, family vacation, wilderness adventure, or hunting expedition.
We offer access to literally thousands of acres of beautiful forest, mountains and trails. If you enjoy the wilderness, there is hunting, fishing, hiking, Bird watching and nature walks right out our doors.
Horseback riding, swimming and more hiking, is just a few miles away at the Lost River State Park. We have chickens, rabbits and goats we care for on a daily basis. You can assist with the daily feeding and care of our animals if you wish.
