When we are tired , we look for a hotel. We prefer the Red Roof Inn
We have a King-size bedroom and it is so cmofortable. Wow!
We like also that our car is very close to us.

basic Red Roof inn which had no breakfast because of the covid-19 event. room was clean. internet was ok. parking was tight. staff was friendly. numerous restaurants were nearby but the road getting to/from the hotel was kind of hidden and curvy so be careful driving to/from this location.

Large well appointed room, clean hard surface floor with just enough carpet at entry for shoe cleaning and at each side of the bed. Our king bed room had a fridge, microwave, coffee maker and a 42" flat screen TV. Everything worked! Even the hot water was hot and almost immediate. It seemed to me that the management and staff actually cared about their guests. We'll certainly be staying there again when in the Charleston vicinity.

I had been all around the country driving and was looking for a place to stay and the Red Roof was a great location right off the highway. I was greeted by Mark and he was so helpful and kind that I instantly felt relaxed after such a stressful day. The room was very clean and I had a great night’s sleep!

This was my first time to stay at this particular Red Roof. It was a bit hard to find, as it's located behind a shopping center and the sign is on the opposite side of the road where you turn off WV Route 34. This is a typical Red Roof setup with the exterior corridors, which I prefer. I stayed in a standard room with no refrigerator. The room was adequate for my purposes, if a bit small. I wish there had been a TV channel guide in the room and more channels to choose from. The wi-fi was good, shower water pressure was adequate. I'd probably stay here again, as it's the cheapest location I've found between Huntington and Charleston (it's located about halfway between the two cities).

The rooms are definitely not cleaned well. Found finger nails and stains. Says no smoking but the room stank of smoke. Went to make coffee and the coffee maker was missing a piece to hold the coffee packet. The garbage outside was so disgusting you could smell it from 40 feet away and could barely breathe because of it. It’s basically a place to sleep at best.

Very nice clerk at check in on July 6,2022. We did not have a reservation. Very pet friendly with dog area around back. Good rate. Nice clean room with AC running when we walked in. Hotel is kind of tucked in behind a shopping center but it was nice and quiet.

I checked in May 3rd 2012 I am still here. I moved back from Fl and having a place remodeled. So needed a place to stay until my place is ready. All front desk employees are very kind..Housekeeping has been very helpful and kind. The day I checked in I spotted a bug in my room I told the housekeeper. I got a call from front desk asking if I wanted to move to another room and that room would be treated. I did move to another room and that room was treated as soon as I left it . I have not seen any kind of bug in my new room. My point being with people coming and going as they do in this business that kind of thing will happen. But as soon as I told someone it was taken care of. I feel you can't ask for more than that. This has been a stressful time for me with the move and then finding out how much had to be done to my new place. So I would like to Thank all the employees of the hurricane red roof inn for making it much easier for me :)

As one who stays in hotels every week for my job, I've seen the good, the bad, and the ugly. When traveling on leisure, for an overnight stop I look for a place to take a shower and sleep that's clean and comfortable. We stayed here 8-8-14 for one night. Check in was flawless, the room was spotlessly clean, room was recently refurbished with large flat screen tv, updated bath, sink area. Also had micro fridge and wave. This place is great. With GPS, easy to find. Highly recommend.

Motel was clean, friendly staff, good location. Trying to sleep however, is a different matter. Starting at 11:30 PM up to 3:00AM there were people running up and down the stairs laughing and talking loudly. There were also several people in the parking lot drinking and raising a ruckus. I finally called the front desk at 1:00AM and the night manager said he would talk to them. At 2:15AM all the commotion was still going on. This time the manager said "Well this is a hotel after all!" Nothing was done. The next morning I checked out at 8:00AM Having had about 4 hours sleep. The morning manager did give me the room for half price.

DO NOT STAY AT THE CHARLESTON LOCATION! If you must stay at any red roof stay at this one ONLY. The Kanawha city location is also near motel 6 and kink nights inn (again exterior entrances) and the days inn across is also rough. I wouldn't even stay in the country inn and suites or he holiday inn beacUse the expensive escorts and THAeir pimps go there! I mean this area is very rural acros the river and it's a little unnerving and I have seen it all in my 37 years lol. Rough as in white supremist crackheads, and I am Caucasian, myself. Several times I've been to this area at the gas stations and ihop. Within 10 minutes no joke...low grade hookers and their pimps come from no where. Any time any season. A Charleston police officer had a standoff got shot in face. SHALL I GO ON? Lol. The hurricane location is safer if you must stay at a red rooof. I myself use Hotwire and refuse exterior entrances anywhere. I know this helped you LOL, safe travels!
