I stayed here for several days on an extended work trip. The room and bathroom were a good size, and the general room amenities were good overall. Parking was adequate, and I was able to park right outside my room's window most nights. A small cereal/waffles/bakery items breakfast with coffee, tea and juice was offered in an area inside the main office in the mornings and was well-stocked by a friendly and helpful staff. Main Pros: This motel is conveniently located near I-64 in the upper end of Charleston, WV, and is easy to find if you are paying attention to the signs along the side of the highway as you approach the motel. The motel itself is right next door to a McDonalds, and there is a large convenience store and gas station, large grocery store and several restaurants a short distance away by car.

I was traveling with a large group and we had 9 rooms and a UHaul filled with luggage and musical instruments, so safety is always a concern. The hotel was clean, all rooms (in two buildings) were clean and comfortable and the lot was well-lit. I was even able to back the trailer against the back of the office building for added security. I had some concern after some of the previous reviews but we all were pleased with the rooms and location. And this was after 5+ weeks of consistent travel.

Front desk check in was very shady. Charged my card $150 for "incidentals". I have stayed at Marriott Grand Resort properties before and only got charged $20 per night for incidentals. No breakfast due to Covid. Lots of shady people hanging out by the buildings. One guy was asking all guests for money. Tried to report this to the front desk but nobody answered. Good thing it wasn't a major emergency! At least the room was clean and updated recently. There are MUCH better places to stay in the immediate vicinity.
On a side note, why is it that every Wyndham property is run down and run by shady people lately? I've deleted the app and absolutely REFUSE to stay at a Wyndham hotel property anymore.

When we checked in, we paid $20 extra for our small dog. The hotel has pet-friendly rooms that are isolated in one part of the hotel. We were given a room that smelled so intensely of urine, it was impossible to stay there. My kids were holding their noses. The front desk lady was very helpful within the powers that she had and gave us another pet friendly room. That room smelled marginally better, but still reeked. It had stains all over the bed spreads and the chair was so stained that it was unusable. Despite being a non-smoking room, we found a cigarette by the bed that housekeeping had missed. We stayed there out of necessity as we were traveling home the following day and it was already late for our two small children. Essentially, I paid $20 extra for my well-behaved dog and was given a room that we literally could not take our shoes off in because it was so disgusting. The Days Inn promise that you can "expect clean, comfortable rooms" was certainly not applicable here. We left a message for the manager to call us to make him aware of the situation and received no response.

This is a nice hotel for the discounted price. They are renovating this hotel and they had beautiful new carpet in the hallways and updated door keys that you put in front of a laser and the door opens. The breakfast was good. The owner and his staff were friendly. They greeted you as we came in the door. Also there are nearby restaurant and malls.

We stayed in the building on the left and our door wouldn't lock, there were black markings on both bed spreads, small holes in the blanket, large stains on the chair & ottoman, grease marks on arms of chair from hands, and a chunk of food ground in the arm. Then the sink was clogged. Moved two doors down and still the bedspreads had black markings on them, holes in the blanket, small stains on the chair and ottoman. We were too tired to move to another room so we got a few hours sleep then left. I'm not sure who to write to first, Days Inn or Wyndham.

They should have pain us to stay. Old, Old place. Terrible bath room, worm out toilet seT, no hot water. 1 set of towels. NO coffee or coffee maker in the room.

I was the Group Leader on this trip and we stayed at this hotel on our way back home from Charleston, SC. The staff was courteous and helpful and our rooms were ready when we arrived. However, I was disappointed that our bus driver was put in another building than the rest of us. As we were there on a Friday evening, breakfast on Saturday was not served until 7:00 AM, and many of the travelers were early risers, so this was a bit disappointing also.

Last minute trip to attend a funeral. Check in was quick and easy which is always appreciated. Room was clean and very comfortable for the evening. Hot breakfast was pretty good and lots of options including coffee machine that offered cappucino and latte which my wife loved. Definitely would stay here again if traveling through the area. Staff was excellent and management cares.

Front desk person (Matt) was very friendly and helpful, a good representation of the brand. The room smelled a bit funny, even the replacement room was not fresh smelling but it was better and good enough. The shower was nice. Sleep was good until early morning. Noisy in 2 ways: the water pipes from the room above us were noisy. A worker came through the side door very early on the first floor making noise, instead of quietly going through the front. Overall, it would have been better to be on the top floor.

I do believe they can accommodate semis with a trailer or bed. I saw a lot of large service trucks there when I was there and they have a lot of parking spaces available. My suggestion would be to call ahead of your reservation to see how busy they will be. They have a lot of space, but the night I was there, they were sold out and it was a little tight.
Im sorry we do not accept any pets except service animals with proper tags.
We have an outdoor pool. We open it at the end of May.
