Scheduled a night for my 20 year old son and 18 year old girlfriend. Because they went to a concert. When my son got there the manager wouldn’t let the stay there. And wouldn’t give our money back. So they had to drive home after the concert at 4 am in the morning. Horrible customer service. He had his 15 year old sister there and her friend.
Don’t stay at this drama hotel. 2 night ago I saw a man in a white car with a baseball bat arguing with his woman and screaming at her saying “ Butch!” They had two young boys. I looked at the window and he saw me. It was 3: am in the morning. Then last night, I believe it was the same guy, was kicking and banging in my door screaming “fxck you!!!!” At 1:30 am in the morning. The manager confronted him and called the police. I believe these people are regulars there and I read reviews about this Happening at the Acorn Motoe Inn. Random drug people pounding on doors and screaming profanities. Don’t stay here. It isn’t safe.
WELL,,, it worked out,,, nicely renovated room. others there were Noisy,,,internet was blocked for some reason,,,great bed,,,clean,,,near several fast food and dining,,,walk to Walmart,,, .Dairy Queen,,,Walgreen.
They did not let me cancel my reservation due to emergency weather conditions and charged me the full price for a service I did not get to use. I booked a room in this hotel ahead of time because I had a meeting scheduled in the area and I live too far away to drive back home late in the night. Turns out, this hotel has a 48-hour cancel policy (not 24 hr like most of the other places). And I got "lucky". The day before my stay half of the state got snowed in, all the meetings were canceled because driving conditions were NOT safe at all. I could not do any travel like that. So I called the hotel the day before my stay and asked them to help me arrange something: refund, partial refund, move a date to a different day, didn't matter, I just wanted to make sure it's not all wasted because I still needed to go to my meetings the other day of the week, could have been nice if they let me stay there. I'm sure they were not losing business during the snow days because of ME. So they gave me a strict NO and did not even try to help me or call the manager, and they did not care that it was not safe to drive that day. I was left with a very bad impression of customer service. I am very mad: it was the worst hotel experience I've had. Please, save yourself a trouble and MONEY, and book somewhere else.…
The owner is totally rude.gave me the 3rd degree about smoking in room.5 times he basically said I was a liar..I hadn't even checked In yet.!! The room was filthy.drywall patches on the walls.very unhelpful owner when asking for directions to a place that turned out to be across the street."free breakfast" was a Tupperware of 6 muffins and bad coffee.DO NOT STAY HERE.horribly rude owner.spend the extra $ to stay ANYWHERE ELSE.what a dump and uninviting jerk of an owner.
