First impression is interesting because the lobby is pretty elegant, but the rooms are dated and more along the lines of a basic Hampton Inn. Not there is anything wrong with that exactly, it's just basic, but it is dated. My a/c wasn't working initially, but they got it fixed the next day. Compliments to the lady cleaning rooms. We never requested a cleaning, but we saw her in the hall every day and she'd give us extra towels and such. Very nice lady. I appreciated the laundry service ($2 for a wash/$2 to dry) and the sundry was well stocked. It is also close to a grocery and some restaurants.
The rooms are grimy and dirty. The lobby is not an accurate reflection of the actual hotel room. Faucet was not functioning and the bathroom was nasty. We paid $388 to stay here and it was NOT worth it what so ever. Painted pig.
We stayed for two weeks and a dog pooped on the carpet by the elevator. We called down and noticed the spot was never truly cleaned. The hallway carpeting was scattered with crumbs and never got vacuumed. Lots of dogs, we love dogs but saw at least a dozen or more on our visit. It has definitely gone to the dogs.
I was exposed to Covid by my infant granddaughter. I had to spend 10 days in Covid quarantine. If you are forced to spent quarantine time in a hotel, this was great: comfortable, great breakfast, space to work, space to binge sleep.
Room are nice and sizeable. Lots of activity rooms and a great laundry. Rooms are not cleaned unless requested 24 hours in advance and then cleaning is minimal. Breakfast area is large and expansive. The breakfast choices are extremly limited. One morning no cereal was out and the next morning cereal was out but no bowls. Eggs were the same everyday. Only one waffle machine for an 8 story hotel seems pretty minimal. Yogurt was not stocked on one day but was on the next. Really need to address this breakfast as it was below standards for most hotels and those standards are not very high.
My daughter and I stayed here after she had a medical procedure in a local clinic. From Pat at reception to the comfort of our well appointed room, our stay here ticked all the boxes. We enjoyed the local shopping and a trip to the nearby Cougar Mountain Zoo.
For the money it costs…I would say it’s not worth it. It had great reviews and the hotel itself is great but the beds, pillow and blankets were terrible. The extra blankets were made out of a weird foam and made a sound when I ripped it open. My son said it felt like sandpaper. The main bed had a coverlet and what felt like a thin mattress pad as a blanket. Like a low level hotel. It was strange because the hotel is beautiful and the amenities are great, but…the bed just killed the stay. The last night I heard the person next door snoring so loud I had to sleep on the hideabed.
I flew into Seattle to pick up a puppy. Was in studio King. Very clean. Appreciated helpfulness of front desk with questions I had. Only wished I had been able to enjoy breakfast, but I had my hand fulls after late pickup of puppy. Great neighborhood and convenient to stores and restaurants.
Booked at the last minute over the phone when our plans changed paid a hefty price for a room with a kitchen we did not use or need Breakfast was good with lots of choices but they hide the china plates could not find attendant to ask her
We had an enjoyable trip while visiting family for Christmas. The common areas in the hotel were excellent to visit with family and friends. When we asked for blankets for our beds, they were obviously old and worn out. They could not find us better replacements, so we used two duvets on each bed.
