This was a perfect location for our 2 room, 2-night family stay. The pool was great for my teen son's birthday with friends. It is pet-friendly, and we felt comfortable and welcome having our dog along on the trip. Loved that the motel is right next to a convenience store and gas station, and an IHOP for breakfast. The staff was friendly and helpful. The rooms had a modern design and were fully equipped with a fridge, microwave, wi-fi, flatscreen, and even an iron. The one critique is the AC was not effective against the very hot temperatures, but the pool was very refreshing. There is a big park across the street.

If you ever wondered where the next podcast from#small town murder could look for its next episode this place is it. We checked in and got to our room only to find our neighbours having a domestic argument. It appears this man who was in his 40's was not happy with his teenage girlfriend, so much so we could hear her crying that she was sorry. Not perturbed we opened the door to find that the smell in the room was overwhelming. I had to tie a car odouriser tree to the A/C vent. The A/C sounded like it was about to take off for whirlwind trip around Seattle. The sink leaked a lot of water onto the floor, we were going to report it to maintenance but found out that our room won't even be serviced during our stay. It's our first time in a Motel 6 so are not sure if this is normal. We needed to do some washing and walked to the laundry near reception. On the way we observed some "South American" guests who had their door open cooking up a feast to feed what looked like 20 people on a frypan. The smell hit us from 20 yards away. But that wasn't the worst of that room. There was a guy sitting on one of the beds groping a woman while another looked on. All in the same room. The dryer in the laundry....it was powered by an overworked hamster who was obviously struggling to keep up, as a result the heat was warmer in the car park. Another guest was smoking and drinking beers on the bench prior to having surgery the next day. A guy walked into the laundry with a pistol on his hip. I didn't realise this laundry was such a risky place? He and his girlfriend were not even staying at the hotel, they just cruised in to do their laundry. Upstairs there was obviously a construction worker who was working from his room due to COVID-19 restrictions. For three nights he was constructing something that was obviously quite heavy. He did stop work each night between 11pm and 3am. I was considering making the journey upstairs to offer a hand but hey I didn't want to be the subject on the other mentioned podcast.

I would not stay here. I was here for business and was going to stay for 3 nights. The first room they gave me had no working AC (it was about 85 in the room), no mini-fridge, no coffee maker or microwave. I went to the office and explained the situation. They moved me to a second room that was worse than the first (where the pictures were taken). I went to the office and explained the situation again. They offered me a fan (room had no AC or appliances again). Told them I would not stay there. They were going to charge me for an early departure, but after some discussion the just cancelled the reservation.

I stayed at this hotel last Monday night. When leaving on Tuesday, I left my nightgowns in the bathroom. I called that evening. I was told she could not check, but would have the manager call tomorrow. I left my name and phone number. He never called. I called again Wednesday. I was told they would check and call me back. Again no phone call. I called again on Friday with the same message. So Saturday I called. She finally said she checked twice and did not find them. I told her I was mad. My nightgowns were stolen. They were new. I told her I was giving them a bad review. She didn't seem to care. I told her next time call their customer back. This was completely bad customer service.

Ok, I know what you’re thinking, it’s a motel 6. Yes I know you get what you pay for. But seriously, this was the second worst place I’ve ever stayed (first was near Compton). The staff at the front desk was very friendly and fast. They even accommodated our request for a ground floor room. We really only needed this to sleep, weren’t going to spend time there, but still expected a little better of a room. So here we go: -Filthy. I mean sticky floors and what looked like dried vomit. -The bed. So uncomfortable and lumpy. If you moved you’d sink in different places. Also not sure if there were bed bugs. Found little black things in the bed (poop?) but not sure. Washed everything when I got home just in case. -The shower. Super tiny and barely any water pressure. Didn’t feel like you got clean. -The AC didn’t work. I know how to run a thermostat, it blew air but never got cold. Had to crack the window. See next remark -The neighborhood. Terrible. I did not feel safe. There were so many people coming and going all night. Loud and obnoxious, yelling and crying. Clearly drunk or on drugs. I ended up closing the window and was hot all night. They recently remodeled so it looks nice in pictures but do not stay here. I wish I could have gotten a refund and stayed somewhere else.

This place was probably one of the worst places I have stayed. The check in lobby was dirty, the floors were sticky and filthy, the entrance door handle was broken and hanging down. I asked for a couple of extra pillows and the desk person said they didn’t have any at that moment and to check back. The room was simple, a couple of hangers to hang your clothes, a desk, lamp and TV. The room did not have a mini fridge or a microwave which was irritating because I was hoping to buy some microwave meals to save money. The desk agent said they charge extra for those items. They did give me a couple extra towels, which I appreciated. The bathroom had a full size mirror on the wall, but it was wasted space in which I feel they could have put in a larger shower. The shower was tiny, old and hard to move around in. The shower head was rusty, the curtain had rusty old curtain rings and there was a light in the shower ceiling, but no switch to turn it on. The sink was tiny and hard to wash your face without bumping the faucet. The floors hadn’t been swept, so I bought a small hand broom so I could sweep myself. It was just gross. The walls were paper thin so it was hard to ignore the next door people screaming at each other. You could hear the traffic and doors slamming constantly. The room had a distinct smell of pee and I couldn’t figure out where it was coming from or why I would be smelling that. It then dawned on me that they allow pets in that location, so I realized it was most likely animal urine. I bought some spray deodorizer and sprayed it all over. That helped a little, but it was still present. The heater looked as thought it was from 1890. It worked but very noisy and not easy to operate. It was a decent area and there is an IHOP next door. Some shops are near-by, not too far to drive to. While outside, however, you will notice the smell of pot from time to time. Each day I would ask for extra pillows and each time they said they didn’t have any. Finally, on the 3rd night, they had some pillows and gave me a couple. I understand that this is a Motel 6 and I shouldn’t expect much, but the corporate executives should really consider spending a little money to make the place nicer. I won’t stay here again.

We stayed one night here on our way around Washington and Oregon last week. We were choosing as inexpensive places as we could since it was a five night trip and we were only staying one night in each location. This Motel 6 is in a good location, close to restaurants (and there is an IHOP next door). We were very happy with our room. It was updated and everything worked. It was very clean and the shower had plenty of hot water. The WiFi was good. The staff were friendly and helpful. This motel met all our expectations: clean, just the basics, and inexpensive.

I have stayed at your locations once a week, buying 2 rooms a week for the last decade.  I have witnessed drug overdoses, domestic violence, been giving uncleaned rooms,  had people walk into my booked room saying they had it as well and a myriad of other problems.  I still stay. The price is usually competitive for Seattle.  This last winter the location was recently remodeled.  They broke the heating/cooling  system, so it was always a gamble to see if I had heat during the winter stays.  I'd say I achieved a 40% success rate for heat. Sometimes when the heat didn't work a portable heater was offered, sometimes they were not. Today I arrived, after a 5 hour drive  and hear the front desk tell people, "you can check the room  The swamp cooler is over taxed and isn't working."  So my room is 106 degrees, that's is the actual temperature. Someone also left the door open for a time so I have Flys everywhere.   My complaint  I probably made 15 or so phone calls over the last 3 days to see if  the ac was working, because I already know the place is broken. Not one person picked up the call.  I may have been able to book another room in the mean time, but I had the reservation and I thought maybe they fixed it.  Now. I'm 5 hours from home. In a room that is 106, with no ac and no options for another place  because Seattle is booked due to the heat.  This will be my last stay.  The front desk is lying to customers. She actually told me the cooler might turn on with some trickery, and here is another kicker.  She actually complained that the ac in her office wasn't even working that great. Must be nice.  Guess it was an okay run while it lasted.  This place needs a major repair, lessons on picking up the phone and to also stop lying in the meantime.

From the incomplete voice mail directions to the room size to the “amenities” everything about this place was a cut below. Having two new small dogs precipitated this first-time stay at a Motel 6. This example is not a good advertisement for the chain. The room was cramped, wi-fi didn’t work, strictly BYO shampoo and hair dryer; and perhaps an extra towel. It seemed like a party place, but—at least—the room was quiet despite the party going on next door. I would definitely not stay here again and, based on this place, I would check carefully on reviews for any Motel 6 I considered booking there.
