Nice place just outside Colville, host was very gracious and accommodating. Stayed here for 5 days - nice bungalow, hotub, amazing view. Everything was wonderfully set up when we arrived: flowers, baked goods, champagne - and when we left we were given a free night's stay at a later date of our choice! We didn't opt for the breakfast portion of the bed and breakfast, and made out fine since Colville is so close by (though I'm sure the provided breakfasts would be great also).

My husband and I and our twin 1 year olds spent two nights here and absolutely loved it. We were after a cozy cabin with a mountainous setting and that's exactly what we got, yet we were close to town. Leslie, the host, was very friendly and helpful. We felt she went out of her way to make sure we had everything we needed and that we were enjoying our time. The bungalow is simple, but efficient and very well stocked. The property and views are beautiful and the hot tub was wonderful. The bed in the loft was very comfortable as well and we loved laying there looking out all of the windows. During our stay, we saw several deer and wild turkeys, heard coyotes at night, and watched four eagles dive for food while we relaxed in the hot tub. A really nice place...and we plan to return.

We stayed in the Bungalow for 5 nights. The area is gorgeous! We had beautiful, fragrant flowers (peonies) and fresh baked cookies on the table waiting for us when we arrived. The driveway is a steep driveway and in the Winter you would need to have a 4x4 vehicle to drive it in the snow. The Bungalow is quaint, nicely appointed and kept clean. The bed in the loft is a VERY comfortable queen bed. If you have any disabilities however it would be tough to climb the ladder up to the Bungalow's loft where the bed is located. We actually kept our suitcases downstairs on the daybed and window seat. It would have been very tough to get all our clothing up the ladder or carry them all the way around the Bungalow to the patio off of the loft. Wildlife is abundant here. The squirrels and birds chirp away at all hours, they are happy as can be. Deer frequently roam the property as well. The view is very beautiful from the property. The Owner's house is right next door to the Bungalow, however they allow you your privacy. Leslie the Owner is very accomodating. It is only 6.5 miles outside of Town. Colville is a great community, the people here are amazing and so darn sweet! All the local businesses we frequented were fabulous. Mavericks Restaurant was one of our favorites!

Very quaint and well thought out. Everything that you could need for a stay was thought of. She provided all dishes and utensils. She was even so thoughtful as to provide fresh homemade cookies. We loved staying here and would come back again.

Having stayed here in 2005 and promising to return, we did! Stayed two nights on our way to British Columbia. Clean, comfortable accommodation. Choc chip cookies on arrival highly enjoyed. Everything necessary in the kitchen. Very peaceful location (don't expect to be disturbed by anything more than some deer passing through the property!). Hot tub very relaxing at the end of the day and in the morning. Location can be very hot in summer but the cottage's geothermal cooling kept it very comfortable. The many hummingbirds that are attracted to the property were fascinating. Very nice.

Great location if you want to have a quiet relaxing stay but still want to be close to shopping and dining. Only 10 minutes to downtown Coleville. The cottage is very comfortable and the geothermal air conditioning was a lifesaver in the unusually warm weather. Lots of wildlife on the property, deer and wild turkeys just outside the cottage on several mornings. Close to Coleville Forest park and Little Pend Oreille National Wildlife Refuge for hiking, picnicking or mountain biking. Leslie was a wonderful host.

My husband and I were in town for work and we stayed here at the Retreat it is so quaint and cozy. The view is breath taking and the wildlife is abundant. The Chocolate chip cookies and very good and chewy. Leslie and her husband have taken everything in consideration for a very restful night sleep as well all the comforts of being eco friendly they have propane water and heat recycled tissue and the friendliest gray kitten.
We arrived on a stormy and rainy afternoon which is much needed with all the forest fires that are in the area we were not opposed to staying and with all the rain it cleaned out the air and made it fresh smelling by morning. We only stayed one night but, we will stay longer when the time allows. The view from the roof top deck is worth the climb of the circular stairs.
