You couldn’t ask for a more beautiful setting to sit and relax enjoying the Bay of Islands! The apartment is very well stocked and carefully thought through! You are in for a real treat if you stay here.

A group of 5- 3 adults and 2 children stayed here for 3 nights, but we wished it had been longer. It was a great base to explore the Bay of Islands. The property is fantastic- very clean and everything you could possibly need upon arrival. A lovely bottle of Marlborough wine in the fridge was a nice touch. It is a 2min walk to a General store allowing us to stock up on the essentials. The Opua Cruising club is also a short walk away and has a nice little bistro and bar open for lunch and dinner. We enjoyed fishing off the terrace and catching the car ferry to Russell. Waitangi is a 10 minute drive away- the evening Hangi and Cultural Concert was fantastic. Can't wait to have an opportunity to go back.

We spent a few days here around New Year's Eve 2017 and absolutely loved it! We stayed at The Landing, which is very spacious, very well-appointed, complete with everything we needed, clean and modern. And the huge terrace over the water was amazing for its views and for fishing. We could live here!

This was a very enjoyable stay. We were surprised to see a 24 hr toilet block adjacent but we never heard anything. We are light sleepers so it was extremely quiet at night with the exception of the first ferry arriving at 6:50 every morning. No sleep ins! However it was a very interesting site seeing the ferries come and go through the day and of course so convenient when you wanted to hop over to Russell. General store staffed by friendly people and a 30second walk away. Stocked with all he essentials and good coffee. Accomm located only a short drive from the main town of Pahia where great dining choices abound. Accomm had great facilities and wonderful views. Recommended providing you dont mind the early morning ferry “alarm clock”!

I stayed at The Landing while I was in the area recently, I loved for 'connected' the Boathouse is the the area. The local car-ferry comes and goes from the boat ramp adjacent to the building, which I thought gave the place great atmosphere. Super-comfortable beds in a really well appointed apartment. I'd love to stay there again.

My friend had booked the accommodation for our trip. This was our second stop. What a treat. Spacious, well appointed and sitting over the water. What more could we want? Fabulous! Right next door to a shop which sold the essentials. Great access to the ferry to Russell.

Well it true, we caught dinner Snapper off the verandah, quite a few ,we went on a fishing trip and caught nothing, came home and caught great size fish in a couple of minutes. The accommodation is also great, central and well looked after, clean in fact we couldn't fault anything.

What a lovely spot. We had the pleasure of staying here in the lower apartment and could not be happier. The apartment being modern and very clean was very inviting. The picture perfect view was breath taking and very tranquil. Would go back in a heart beat!

Rented the lower floor of this 2 apartment holiday home - very well appointed with high quality kitchen and very well furnished. Location was unique - right next to a ferry that operated until 10:00pm each night and while noisy we found we got used to it very quickly. Deck was great - we fished with equipment provided and caught a few fish straight outside the door to the apartment - fantastic! BBQ on the deck was great and it is clear that the owner takes pride in the place. The store across the road was also great - bought cappuccinos each morning to drink while reading the paper. The walk to Paihia along the coast was terrific helped by great weather. Our concern with the place was with the noise from the people in the apartment above. There is very little sound insulation
