Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Pleasantly surprised. From the road the chalets are hidden and the front house and yard looked a bit uninviting. But then driving in we were delighted with the cute chalets and lovely gardens. The chalets are modern, clean and comfortable. Big bathroom with a great shower and plenty of bench space. Nice to have a small kitchenette in our studio. The walls are a bit thin and we could hear the neighbour through the wall. Good location walking distance to town. Good parking. Great value for money and would happily stay again.

Convenient location close to town and pretty garden setting with fruit trees. Chalet was clean and tidy and the bed was comfortable but the chalets seem to vary in level of maintenance. Our chalet and the chalet next to us were missing the blind in the bathroom (screw holes showed where blind would have been). Not a welcome sight in the morning when we pulled back our bedroom curtains to come face to face with people towelling themselves down coming out of shower or sitting on the toilet. Extremely awkward! Unfortunately this lack of privacy means we will be seeking accommodation elsewhere next time we're in Kerikeri.

A great little retreat for the weekend. The chalet was a little tired and not as clean as it could have been but was comfortable and well-equipped. Our dog was welcome. It was very handy to town as it was just a short walk. The manager and his wife were very friendly and welcoming. It was great to be able to pick some ripe grapefruit from the trees outside and eat for breakfast,

The chalets are great, each one is separate from the others with orchard ad garden views, making it private and secluded. The chalets are well appointed with nice couches and fluffy towels. The chalet has a heatpump, not that we needed it. We picked fruit from the trees and the pool was beautiful and warm, even in November. We walked to the neighboring bakery for a coffee and then strolled in to town. Later that night we walked to the Italian restaurant next door. This was such a memorable stay in an amazing town.

We were greeted by a very pleasant and helpful owner who did all thgt is possible to make our stay enjoyable. The chalet was very comfortable well maintained scrupulously clean and blissfully quiet. We will make sure that next time we will spend more time there. It is within easy walking distance from restaurants and the centre of Kerikeri. I cannot recommend this motel highly enough. Thanks to Paul and Jo for a lovely stay. We will be back. 10 out of 10 our rating.

This review is well overdue, as we stayed in this lovely place a number of months ago. Hubby and I loved the peaceful orchard setting, the privacy of having a cottage on its own, and also that everything we needed was in the well laid-out accommodation. It was also great to swim in the pool with its beautifully landscaping. The hosts were friendly and hospitable, and right next door is a fantastic bakery where we enjoyed coffee and a couple of delicious meals. I can highly recommend this place, and if we are ever back in Kerikeri, this is the place we would choose to stay.

Lovely setting offering free fruit straight off the many trees. Quiet and great location close to the town and short walk to restaurants and the farmers market. The chalets were comfortable, not the best quality in towels etc but they were clean and had everything you needed.

This place is super cute and the owners are the best. Easy checkin. Yummy food nearby. Dreamy little kitchenettes. Avocado and orange trees are everywhere. The flowers around the yard were gorgeous! Great location. Catch a Cape Reinga tour. The tour bus picked us up next door at the Kerikeri bakehouse for a dreamy day trip to the north.

Very nice place to stay. Loved how handy the location was to everything. Incredibly pet friendly, really enjoyed having our own cottage which made us feel really private and able to relax completely. Enjoyed the use of the pool.
