Arthur was good but Heather bullied and abused my wife while I was at work and then asked us to move on for fabricated reasons then when I confronted them both about this disgusting behaviour she blatantly denied it and we were told they were ringing the police we were so disgusted we left and lost the better part of 300.00 dollars as they refused to refund. We are absolutely disgusted and will be making sure people know.

These folk are very strange, I first found the lady Heidi nude sunbathing in our small family park, they stayed approx 5 weeks, every week on cleaning the room I found the bed covered in faeces from on the pillows to the base of the bed both sheets, it was absolutely disgusting! I said to her she needs to sort this out its yuk ! Also the room stunk being locked up all day everyday until cleaning day. Steven and Heidi tried to cover up their muck and wash their sheets but put the soaking wet sheets back on the brand new bed... who does this? was given a weeks notice, they chose to leave two days later. the price is a weekly rate of $350.00, two single nights cost $260.00. three band new pillows I had to throw out $60.00 , 1 Brand new single mattress soiled of poo stains cost $499.00 WHO OWES WHO???? These people are so disgusting, unbelievable, definitely not the type of people any hotel, motel, holiday park etc would want or should have to clean up after. I hope others in the park will also respond as they all know too well what we had to deal with. police were not mentioned. treat people especially younger ones like ourselves very rudely. Came accross freindly and genuine...... DEFINTELY NOT the case both wearing MASKS. Not the kid of people they first show themselves to be. Very self centered.

We stayed for a few weeks and enjoyed it initially but then felt like we had no privacy at all. As we were young (to them) we felt very patronised and controlled and actually tried avoiding them whenever we could. We've tried to look at the positives but overall we didn't enjoy our stay.

Where do I start? In all honesty... It... Felt like school camp. Guy that runs the place is deranged. Yelled at us like we were primary school children when our infant son chewed a $1 foam ball and when we had a shower in our mum's cabin. Place is next to a busy road and is basically a glorified front lawn. Also wanted our group of male friends to incite intimidation and violence on a man he is currently having major legal issues with (the case of which I'm sure he's leaked classified information.) Locked the place up at 8pm and did his block when someone tried to leave for a walk into town etc. The way this man spoke to us was absolutely disgusting, unprofessional and extremely upsetting. My only wish is that I could take our grievances further. Please consider elsewhere to stay when travelling Northland. I've had better stays on friends couches and floors than at this place. Worst holiday of our lives!

We loved it here, stayed for 6 nights. We hadn't booked in advance so had no idea what to expect but were absolutely blown away with what we were shown. Stayed in a fully contained unit which was a great size for the two of us, or more people if needed. It was extremely clean and had everything we needed, and the shower was amazing! Heather and Arthur were really lovely and friendly, made us feel so welcome and when mum thought she'd lost her purse Heather even offered to lend us money for petrol. If we were ever to come back to Kerikeri this would definitely be our first choice of accommodation and highly recommend to anyone wanting to visit the town!

Initially Hev and Arf are friendly, helpful, and act as though they care about you. however after your first week if you're not pumping in enough money to them or you're using the electricity in the kitchen too much then they begin to show their true colours and start to make life very difficult for you. They spy on you all day long when they're at home and monitor how many times you are using the shower and whether or not you're having cold showers (e.g. not paying the $2 water fee). They made life very difficult for us and I believe it was because of our age, 22 & 20 and also because we couldn't afford to move into the bigger cabin (which was $400 per week) we were happy staying in the smaller cabin and we stayed for 6 weeks until we were finally kicked out with a day to find somewhere. Arf is a malicious bloke who can make life very very difficult for you. Don't trust either Hev or Arf. And definitely do not stay here if you under 25.

Very comfortable and economical place to stay. Heather and Arthur are hosts who go the extra mile to make your stay with them comfortable and memorable. My stay was for approx 2 months and during that time I felt very welcome. If I need accommodation in the general area in the future I would return to stay here. Eddie Ward.

I was staying in the camp when the true colors of the complanants started to unravell. The women was asked twice to put some cloths on, they were told there is kids running around and Contractors working on the cabin beside them.( you can't lay around reveiling all in a public place.) They had been warned several times about the soiling of sheets.. I helped to remove and dump the curtains and both mattress, they completly gutterd the unit. Good on Heather and Arthur for acting quickly to remove the Dirty behaviour of these two. They were thinking for the good of the Customers. Good on you both for having high standeds it makes us visitors feel good. Owen Wooldridge.

We had a lovely week staying at this delightful cabin. Heather and Arthur are wonderful hosts.We received eggs from their chooks. Everything in the unit was especially clean and well equiped.

Hevs & Arfys is a great place to stay, never a dull moment, We've stayed in both there holiday parks and wouldnt stay any where eles when we are in the area.
I'm happy to travell up to an hour from our job to stay in there park, there prices are very fair very clean cabins and always happy to see you.
They are a great couple and always thinking of ways to improve your stay.
I wish Arthur & Heather the very best in there business.
