Unfortunately our trip was cancelled due to COVID restrictions. The staff were really helpful when I contacted them and offered a full refund of our deposit even though they didn't have too. I look forward to rebooking next year when we plan to head north again.

Stayed one night to make the trip to Marsden Cross. Motel unit was roomy and comfortable with a great view over bush. Not too far from town and away from the main road so was quiet. We enjoyed our stay.

We did a weekend of camping here. Beautiful big grounds and on multi level so you don’t feel crowded. Best campsites are the non powered ones down by the river. Facilities are well stocked and kept very clean. Despite being close to town the camp feels green, lush and secluded. Pets are welcome too which is awesome. We will be back

Paid for 2 nights to stay at a campsite there. Did not end up staying as the camp sites they had allocated us too were not kid friendly or even appropriate to situate a tent. Absolutely disgusted at the customer service we received from the man at the front desk there, was of absolutely no help at all. No courtesy, no understanding, I understand the cancellation fee that applies yes!!! But we paid for 2 nights on a campsite that wasn't even available. He ended up throwing half of our money at us after we told him will get the police involved. Absolutely unfair!!!! Waste of money and waste of time!!!!

Just paid for two nights here with my family, stayed for one and was disgusted. Blood and poo all over toilets, pad wrappers lying around, playground rotten and dangerous. Complained and nothing was done

This site is 3 minutes walking distance from the centre of Kerikeri with Countdown supermarket at the end of the road. The way the site is set out is well thought out with well appointed cabins for hire which were clean and comfortable. There is a river running at the bottom of the site which is crystal clear and perfect for swimming on a warm day. The showers and toilets are clean and ok but would benefit from a little tlc. Reception and book in was easy and welcoming and the other staff were helpful and friendly. Perfect place to visit if you want to have easy access to the town.

Great setting, sites by the river are beautiful. Facilities old but clean. The spider webs and flaking paint in the gents urinal add a nice "Kiwi camping" touch. If you are traveling in a larger caravan or motor home but able to live off grid, choose the riverside camping area as the powered terrace sites are a little tight. 5m would probably be max. Freinds stayed in the motel units which were clean and tidy.

Me and my partner went down to see the facilities to check they were clean before we decided to stay! While my partner was in looking at the facilities a women came speeding down and aggressively told me that we were theft of property. I explained what we were doing and she continued to be very rude and judgemental- not good customer service The bbq area is outside the men’s toilets which we found unhygienic However the setting of the river is nice and the grounds are nice

Positives were swimming in the river, the staff and the balcony! The staff went above and beyond, river was safe and warm, balcony was superb and cooling. Just got loads of itchy bites overnight and the bathroom wasn't very clean.

Cheap, simple accomodation. Really just a place to put your head down. It was clean enough. The beds were comfy. No aircon - which made a summer night pretty uncomfortable. Little kitchenette which is handy if you get takeaways or for your own breakfast. The shower was pretty touch-and-go but that’s what you should expect when you pay very little for accomodation.
