Great environment, lovely owners treat you like family they made a cake for our friends birthday and happy to find jobs for you.
Hostel is a easy walk to town, washing machine, dryer, clothes line on site and is cheaper than the laundry mat. Stayed in the dorm rooms and only sleeps 4 per room which is great, Pool table, piano, well maintained pool, great location for exploring upper north island and bay of islands.

Wow what can I say about this hostel.
Ive been lucky enough to be travelling around NZ for 2 years and had can say this was the best hostel I stayed in. I spent 4 months of my working holiday staying and working at this wonderful hostel. The owners Nico and Corina were super supportive and accommodating.They embraced each person that came through and most people stay for a long time. They spent time with everyone making sure all were well. Work was great. They match the best person to the job and was amazed every single person was employed in their hostel. They have the best location, right in the centre of town with only 3 min walk to all amenities. They had lots of special touches that no other hostel provided to make it feel like home. In fact it felt like staying at my uncles house. The free dinner nights were amazing. They cooked and feed all of us and did it for all of us.They found us jobs straight away which enabled us to save lots of money. They are a smaller hostel which we found enabled them give everyone that stayed their time each day to connect with. The premises were clean and funky and looks like they reinvest all money back into the hostel. Im going to miss my time there and would highly recommend anyone looking for a home while away from home in a lovely environment. Living the hostel felt like living mi family behind. Whenever I will come back I know exactly the place I want to come back to. I trevel around the work much and never find a such worming owners. Like I said Ive never come across any other hostel like this or hostel owners like this. This is the best working Hostel in NZ.

We came here with no clue and we got a bed, work and a family.
The hostel is not as big as others, so you get to know everyone who is staying there. We celebrated Christmas & New Years Eve togheter and also our really lovely hostel owners Nick & Corina participated, even when it were only some nice words per text message.
The hostel has a nice cold pool, 3bathrooms, 2kitchens and a chilling living room (free netflix), perfect for resting after work.
There are 3 reasons we would definitely recommend this hostel:
1. You can always talk to the owners when you have a problem and they are going to help you as good as possible.
2. When you have no car, the owners are organizing you a drive for low money.
3. You are allowed to stay within some areas after ten, perfect for hanging with friends, drinking & playing cards.

Ive been staying here for the past 7 months and still going strong. This has become my home. The hostel is centrally located right in the centre of town and only 2 mins walk to everything so for me getting to work is great. Love the 24hr kitchen which has helped with ky long shifts. Ive met so many fantastic people during my time here and i know they will be lifetime friends. The owners find work for everyone that wants to work. They are very well connected to many local businesses so its not just seasonsl work they deal with. They helped many people during my time here and i think thats why so many people cone back to stay again. The hostel is clean and well equipped and the swimming pool has been a real treat to swim in. The social side is great because you get to know eveyibe very quickly and the owners are very hands on. They have made everyone who stays here feel welcomed and part of something very special. I love staying here an can highly recommend it. This is the best place to stay in Kerikeri. Kericentral you rock.

Very nice hostel with amazing managers that really care about every guest and work very hard to help you. They offer driving to work if you don’t own a car. The hostel might have the newest and most exspansive equipment (it is still above avarage) but they improve the hostel basically on a weekly basis.

Being a smaller hostel has the most amazing advantage that we are able to really get to know all those that stay with us. We had a really good time at this hostel. The owners are amazing and we felt really comfortable there, with the premises as well as the other backpackers. Great location too everything is in a walking distance. We will definitely go back there.

The KeriCentral is the best Hostel in NZ!
I stayed there for a couple of months and absolutely loved it there! The people are always friendly and there is a lot to do on the weekends when your not working (Cafés, Shopping, Waterfalls etc).
The owners help you find a job, so you don’t have to worry about anything and if you don’t have a car they can drive you to work. The owners (Nico&Corina) put a lot of work and effort into the Hostel and always try to do something special every month.

Honestly one of the best places I've ever stayed in Newzealand. You can really feel how much Nico and Corinna(the owners) are caring about the guests and how much effort,they put in the place, so that everybody has great experience, especially with pizza-night! Also great outdoor kitchen, clean rooms and a nice pool to enjoy.

KeriCentral was not only one of my first Hostel in New Zeealand, it was one of the best Hostels of my New Zealand Travel. I spent the 2 months of my New Zealand Travel there and it was like a second home for me. The hostel offers a pool, a well-equipped kitchen, clean bathrooms and cozy rooms. It is also the nearest hostel to the city center, within 5 minutes walk you can reach the park, supermarkets and shops.
If you want to work in Kerikeri, dont worry about finding a job. The Hostel Owners Corina and Nico search a Job directly when you arrived, if you want.
In addition they are very lovely and helpful people.

We've been staying in KeriCentral for around 4 1/2 months and had a great time here!
We always had a great atmosphere and we got help from Corina and Nico if we needed it. If you're searching for a job and don't find anything, that is the right place. If you stay in that hostel the owner will help you to provide a job and on weekends or day offs we had usually Partys or did Barbecues all together :) +once a month Corina and Nico cook something or bring food for their guests
