This delightful bed & breakfast run by Jane and Stephen is a haven of peace and tranquility. It was the perfect first NZ accommodation after a 33 hour trip from Amsterdam, and it felt like coming home straight away.
The clean, blue pool, the fantastic bed and sheet, and last but not least: Jane’s breakfast! All of it too of the bill. It beats any 4 or 5 star hotel experience for us, two spoiled golfing friends. Book it, you won’t regret it!

It is so fitting and describes everything about this beautiful place, from the clean and luxurious rooms and throughout the whole whare both inside and outside, to the genuine caring hospitality of both you and your husband. My first experience of an Egg Benedict, oh my word Jane you are an excellent cook and now I want to try Egg Benedict wherever I go! A memorable weekend. We have travelled a lot and can honestly say that the accommodation and breakfast provided by Jane and Stephen equals that found in the best five star hotels. Everything is spotlessly clean and the fact that Jane is a trained chef shows in the superb breakfast provided. In addition guests are made to feel really at home. We would not consider staying anywhere else on our next trip North and thoroughly recommend Te Whare Ma.

A lovely spacious home- great for small groups. Great facilities such as a large heated pool, luxurious spa pool and dream like beds which are like sleeping on a cloud. Beautiful gardens around the place and adorable little touches from beautiful bed linen to charming teaspoons to make your morning tea/coffee. You can see that a great deal of love has been put into this B&B and I will most definitely be returning as soon as possible.

Rooms are modern, independent, comfortable, very quiet and clean.
The place is surrounded by nice gardens and a lovely swimming pool.
Breakfast is healthy, fresh and very tasty.

We went to Te Whare Ma for two nights and used it as a base to visit the North. Jane was really helpful and helped us book a fishing trip and even helped us cook it on the BBQ for our dinner! The room was very clean and nice, the bed was really comfy, and had our own little path to the pool and spa. They sell local wine which was great to have by the pool because Kerikeri bars aren't that great and we could have some beers with our fish.
Definitely stay here - oh and the breakfast! Have their specialty the Turkish omelette.. Yum!!
