Murray and Janis are the perfect hosts. Firstly, their huge gardens and park like grounds are a joy to walk through. The pool is ideally situated for a refreshing swim and the bird life abounds. Secondly the accommodation has everything you can possibly think you will need. The chocolates, the breakfast supplies with home made jams, muesli, local honey and home grown fruit are a delight. The bed is so comfortable we slept in every morning. The rooms are spacious, light and airy, and beautifully furnished. As is the bathroom. We look forward to a return visit.

Excellent place to stay. Nice room , excellent hosts, great location on an impressive piece of land.
The B and B is close enough to KeriKeri to be convenient, but far enough away to be in the countryside.
The fresh air , quiet and comfortable bed made more some great sleeps !
Highly recommended !

Arrived just a few hours ago and were met by Murray and Janis.who welcomed us as good as any welcome we we have experienced anywhere we have stayed. The room is absolutely lovely and has everything, and more, than we expected. The grounds, over four acres are superb and so peaceful. Murray, a highly qualified Chef, asked us if we would like to have dinner rather than drive to Keri Keri. We decided that we would and the dinner, consisting of NZ Lamb, homegrown potatoes and vegetables was absolutely superb. Both Janis and Murray joined us for pre dinner drinks and a beautiful cheese board with a glass of wine. The cost was real value for money and,of course, the surroundings could not have been better. If anyone is anywhere near this location you MUST treat yourself and spend at least a couple of nights with these lovely people. We were sorry to leave.

We stayed 2 nights here and felt very welcomed from the moment we arrived. Our son swam in the pool while we chilled out wandering the lovely gardens. Warm hospitality, lovely clean rooms and even the added personal touch of home baked cookies to greet us on our arrival.

Our hosts, Janis and Murray describe their B & B as being set in their own private parkland and that is absolutely correct. Their B & B is modern, clean, and very comfortable, and they are fabulous hosts. Because it is a B & B guests stay in the family home and the owners are present. This is not a hotel. We felt welcomed and very comfortable and we will be coming back. For us to intend a return stay speaks volumes. We strolled around the spacious grounds which will be of a lot of interest to visitors who are gardeners. The grounds cover more than 4 acres. There is a very nice well maintained swimming pool which we were invited to use. This is a lovely B & B and I have no hesitation in rating it as 'Excellent'. Recommended.

From the minute you drive into this property you know you are on to something special. The expansive grounds look like they have come come out of a magazine. Amazing expanses of lawns with huge mature trees and wonderful colour set amongst streams and little bridges with lovely private sitting areas and a very tempting outdoor swimming pool which we took advantage of. At the end of the drive you are greeted by Murray and Janis who couldn't be more friendly and accommodating - not to mention, wonderful cooks!!! The room and home is beautifully decorated and the bed extremely comfortable with a wonderfully equipped tiled bathroom and a shower to die for. Murray makes an amazing breakfast and Janis' baking is out of this world. I cannot recommend this B&B highly enough. If you ever go to the Bay of Islands, this is a total must!!
