Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We were greeted with a drink! Our cottage was spotless and had every amenity we could need from a super comfy bed to appliances, pots, pans, and cutlery. Hosts were helpful. Right across from a wonderful market! A lovely stay!

Expect a warm, welcoming reception from Jackie and her partner, Andrew. The rooms (we had two at different ends of the week) felt spacious fresh, clean, comfortable and equipped with everything we needed. The pool area is lovely, as are the gardens. Located directly across from the Kerikeri market, where you can always find good coffee, sandwiches, and eclectic offerings: art, fresh produce, a butcher, patisseries and fast food. Five minutes to downtown by car. Thank you, Jackie, Andy, and team, for taking such good care of us. We will be back!

I arrived late and Jackie answered my call and checked me in without a booking as my attempt to pay online to secure my booking had failed. Jackie checked to make sure I wouldn’t need charged twice and showed me to a fabulous suite with a beautifully made comfy bed and jacuzzi bath, exactly what I needed! She even brought milk and a glass of Merlot! A true home from my far away home

What a hidden gem this place is! The first thing that greets you is all the greenery and smell of Jasmine flowering, just such a pleasant surroundings. Check in was a breeze, the hosts were welcoming with a lovely surprise of a welcome drink. Our room was spotless, the beds were lovely, it’s not often you have a great sleep on the first night, but we sure did. The furnishing must be pretty new, like the drapes and linen, all just top quality. And the location….too good right across the road from the old packhouse markets & cafe! Highly recommended Motel. We wouldn’t stay anywhere else now in Kerikeri.

Stayed 1 night and was very impressed with friendly service and comfortable clean accommodation. The surroundings were beautiful and I could hear some lovely birds. Very handy to airport as I was heading out early in the morning. Would definitely recommend.

I have just finished a 2.5 week stay for work. Thanks to Jacqui and the team for a fantastic stay! Cleanest rooms I’ve ever stayed in. Superb! Really spacious beautiful units with an idyllic view down a gorgeous tree lined drive. Cafe across the road and a chocolate shop next door which I may have indulged in. Thank you Jacqui, I will be back! :)

Commodious unit, well equiped. Away from the road so quiet Park like is the feeling Made use of the accessible unit, great shower extra room to wheel around. Kitchen well laid out at wheelchair height. Bed not too soft not too firm. Just one suggestion add a rubber shower mat

We loved our time at the Kauri Park Motel. Our unit was spacious with a large bathroom that boasted a spa tub and lovely fluffy towels. The little outdoor patio with table and chairs was perfect for pre-dinner drinks or an outdoor meal. The gardens are lovely and the small pool looks very nice although we did not use it as the weather wasn't the best. The motel is situated across the road from a lively weekend market which has a great coffee shop that is open daily. The motel is a little outside of Keri Keri and although it is walkable it is probably more convenient if you are travelling with a vehicle. Would definitely choose to stay here again.

Tucked away from the main road, the grounds of the Kauri Park Motel are very secluded. The apartment overlooked the garden and sitting on the deck you can enjoy the peaceful surroundings and birdsound away from it all. The apartment was super clean and they have all the facilities you need. There is a pool which is sectioned off and we made use of this even though the weather had not been brilliant. The hosts are extremely helpful and we would definitely recommend this Motel.
