We had an amazing time at Driftwood Seaside Escape's - The Bach. It has a peaceful and beautiful setting with access to a lovely beach.

The Bach itself had everything we needed including great coffee, a fire pit, wifi, super comfy beds and a view of the sea.

I'd highly recommend staying there.

The Pad is the ideal escape (especially from city life). It is in the most peaceful spot with an abundance of nature surrounding you.

Vanessa was very welcoming and accommodating, provides a somewhat ‘make yourself at home’ feel which is nice. Privacy was absolute, which was exactly what we needed this time around.

We stayed at the Pad for 3 nights and we were not disappointed. It has a rustic, welcoming and comfortable vibe with everything you could possibly need. If you are looking for a beautiful, private spot in which to chill and reconnect, this is the place to do it. Private beach, stunning walks and the sea in which to play. The hosts leave you to just be and to sit quietly and take in the wonderful views and surrounding bay. Can highly recommend and will definitely return, cannot speak highly enough. Thank you Vanessa & Richard, you truly do have it all

We stopped in for 2 nights at the PAD and had a fabulous time, it was so quiet and so private. We spent most of the time on the deck looking out at the fabulous bay. The PAD was very cute and comfortable and had everything you needed to hide away for a couple of days. We walked along the beach, went for swim, there were oysters on the rocks that you could hammer off, canoes, BBQ and fishing rods. We heard kiwis at night. It was very tranquil, all we saw were some people passing riding horses, otherwise we had the complete place to ourselves with the water only a few meters away. We really appreciated the lovely big soft padding on the loungers! Thank you for a lovely stay.

My husband and I did a little road trip North for a baby moon and stayed four nights here at 'The Bach'. We absolutely LOVED it! Gorgeous views of the bay, sweetest decor and enough space to feel like a home away from home. Unlike other places we've stayed before, this one actually looked as lovely as the pictures on the website!

Surrounded by bushland, it was wonderful waking up to the birds and sitting outside for a relaxing dinner while the sun went down.

We used the kayaks and paddle board down at the little private beach, which was so refreshing! Set up on the hill, it is a bit of a walk down. Not so bad with a little amount of fitness, but a little tough when you're 7 months pregnant haha!

It felt like we were miles into the countryside but Kerikeri was such a short drive away to the supermarket and town, so super convenient if we wanted anything. Even though it was a holiday, I enjoy self catering simple meals in my own time - prawns, prawns, prawns.

Happily recommend this place to anyone who wants a relaxing getaway in beautiful surroundings, with all the conveniences you need to be comfortable.

This was our first stop of a whistle-stop tour of the North and it didn't disappoint! We stayed in the Bach and it was incredible, the most beautifully designed holiday home with a real wow factor. It was warm and cozy during an unseasonal cold snap, really well equipped, and had the most amazing view over the bay. Would highly recommend it!

There's kiwi roaming free in the bush alongside the Bach! Take a torch and make sure you head outside at dusk if you want to spot a kiwi! (While we heard them calling, we were chickens and didn't venture out - but I'll definitely be back again and hope to spot one!)

Vanessa is a wonderful host, thanks for letting us pilfer from the vegetable garden! I'll definitely be booking again for a longer stay!

We stayed at the Bach which is the most quaint and ecelctic place, relaxed but with plenty to do, walks, swimming, kayaking and on one day a visit up close from Orca's.
Vanessa and Richard leave you alone but are also incredibly responsive and obliging if needed. We loved it, recharged the batteries and feel so much better for the whole experience. We will indeed go back at some point and certainly recommend it.

We stayed here for our honeymoon and enjoyed every second of it, the Bach is very quiet and private with a stunning view and was equipped with everything we needed for a self sufficient and cosy stay, from cooking utensils to a washing machine along with excellent wifi. The decor is very well thoughtout and the place has a very cheerful and happy vibe. We are very glad we chose driftwood and would recommend it to anyone in a heartbeat.

We spend 3 nights at Driftwood and loved every minute of it. The batch was equipped with everything you need and very comfortable. The views are to die we sat every night by the fire roasting marshmallows and drinking red wine. Been able to bring our dog was a huge bonus. Would definitely go back.

I'm extremely hesitant to write this review as this place is so amazing I don't want everyone to know about it!

From the moment you walk in you are inspired by the decor that the owners have dedicated to this place. Everything is thought of from the packed beach bag to the marshmallows. We stayed at the hammock and you have easy access to a private beach with kayaks and a dinghy. Even the loungers are ready on the beach for you.

This is the iconic kiwi Bach made you be in line with today's lux lifestyle.

Oh and I haven't even mentioned they are dog friendly!!!!!!!

Love love love it. Will be back Vanessa and Richard!
