What a incredible stay! We stayed at White Annex which is located at the back of the main house and fully self-contained.
Fire was already set up ready to go (should we need it) sky TV, days worth of food in the fridge - including dried goods in the pantry. Owner even brought us across some freshly baked biscuits just after we arrived!
Beds were extremely comfortable and although the house faces the main road, the road noise is very minimal.
A excellent stay overall, and I would not hesitate to recommend to others. Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful home with us. Glad that we received George’s ‘stamp of approval’ - he’s such a cutey!

Absolutely wonderful hospitality from start to finish. Carmel was an amazing host who runs a beautiful(!!!) guesthouse in lovely Martinborough. We stayed in the Annex just behind the main house. We knew it would be special but we didn't expect how large and comfortable it would be. The whole place was spotless and the gardens were stunning. We even got a visit from George (the friendly cat) which made my Mums day. Everything oozed quality all at a great price. We will be back for sure (if you'll have us!). Matt, Paul, Tricia and Steve.

Second visit to The Annex and we feel like family. The welcome and friendly atmosphere is absolutely top notch. Nothing is left undone from the beautiful jams and preserves to the oh so comfortable beds. Very relaxing lounge with furniture you want to take home. The gardens are a wee haven for the reviewer and congratulate Carmel & Stuart for their tireless attention to the details of both inside and out in the gardens. Thank you both for making the 3 of us so happy to be there and also offering to help us with the vehicle issue.

We stayed at Wyett House last weekend wit my husband. It was absolutely amazing. We wanted to book the annex but as it was already taken we settled with the room. The bed was amazing the room and the whole house was beautifully decorated. The owner used to be an interiour designer and it shows in every aspect of the house. The room and the house was nice and warm which was especially important as the weather wasn't very nice. If you rent the room you also have a lounge downstairs to relax in. We also had breakfast and were served by local produce (pastries from the french cafe), home made muezli and preserves. Yumm!
If you go to Greytown, you simply can't miss this place. We will certainly be back!

We stayed at the ANNEX for two nights last weekend. It was probably one of the best getaways we have had. As soon as we walked into the cottage, we did not want to leave. The decor is absolutely gorgeous and the cottage is warm and comfortable. There was so much food in the kitchen including amazing homemade jams, free range eggs and muesli etc. Definitely pricey however well worth the money as the accommodation is faultless and Stuart and Carmel are great hosts. A very memorable experience. We will definitely be back at some point! We will be reminiscing our experience for a while!

We were two couples sharing the annex. It was beautifully appointed and with direct access to the gorgeous garden. The owners were very friendly and also gave us a look through the main house, including the other rooms available for booking . The whole property has been lovingly restored in keeping with it's long heritage. All in all, a very relaxing atmosphere with much attention to detail and even home made preserves in the fridge.

We were spoilt rotten during our stay at Wyett House. What a beautiful property and Stuart and Carmel are the most fantastic hosts. Antiques, art, books and sumptuous furnishings combined with a homemade breakfast that would rival the best restaurant. Stewed pears in ginger! Black Boy peaches! We didnt want to leave.

I was staying in Greytown to celebrate my friend's 50th birthday and booked Wyett House. Carmel is such a wonderful host. The house and garden are stunning. The breakfasts are amazing with fresh fruit from the garden set in the beautiful dining room. I would definitely recommend staying there.

Our three night stay in The Annex was a highlight of our trip to New Zealand. It is well located on the Main Street with excellent access to both local and district attractions. The two bedroom Annex was beautifully decorated and appointed ( even down to Carmel's homemade biscuits and preserves. ) This ensured we had we had a most enjoyable and restful stay. Carmel and Stuart were warm and considerate hosts.

A wonderful welcome in an exquisite setting, and far enough back from the road to be quite and able to enjoy the garden. Internally and externally this has to be one of the nicest B&B we have ever been to and priced competitively against good hotels. Give it a try. You will not be disappointed. John & Jacqui
