Second visit to The Annex and we feel like family. The welcome and friendly atmosphere is absolutely top notch. Nothing is left undone from the beautiful jams and preserves to the oh so comfortable beds. Very relaxing lounge with furniture you want to take home. The gardens are a wee haven for the reviewer and congratulate Carmel & Stuart for their tireless attention to the details of both inside and out in the gardens. Thank you both for making the 3 of us so happy to be there and also offering to help us with the vehicle issue.

Absolutely wonderful hospitality from start to finish. Carmel was an amazing host who runs a beautiful(!!!) guesthouse in lovely Martinborough. We stayed in the Annex just behind the main house. We knew it would be special but we didn't expect how large and comfortable it would be. The whole place was spotless and the gardens were stunning. We even got a visit from George (the friendly cat) which made my Mums day. Everything oozed quality all at a great price. We will be back for sure (if you'll have us!). Matt, Paul, Tricia and Steve.

We are currently staying in the Wyett Annex and it is absolutely amazing! The hosts Stuart and Carmel are lovely, so friendly and accommodating. Fresh bread, bacon, eggs, jam, preserves- everything you could ever want! Carmel came daily with clean towels, emptied our rubbish etc. We came here for a wedding and Stuart drove us to the wedding. These hosts are amazing and nothing is too much trouble. George the cat is an added bonus! One more night here - we don’t want to leave! Please adopt us! Can’t wait to come back! This place is the best!

We stayed in the 2 bed-roomed annex behind the house which is furnished to the same high and elegant standard as the main house and comes with provision of high quality breakfast options (museli, home made preserves, homemade stewed fruit, eggs, bacon fresh bread and croissants) which you can then prepare yourself. There is access to the lovely garden and also a private seating area for the annex. It was a very restful, comfortable and beautiful environment from which to explore the Wairarapa. Hosts are friendly and helpful. Bikes and wifi are also available.

Much needed break away from 2 young kids. Gorgeous bed linen that you just sink into. Amazing breakfast that will keep me going for days. Lovely homemade preserves and muesli and fruit. Scrummy scrambled eggs and bacon with avo and sourdough. Also borrowed bikes to ride along the trail to Woodside. Highly recommended! Beautiful touches all around the house. Stylish and elegant
