Detailed Reviews
Stayed in the studio and the accommodation was clean and tidy. The hosts allowed me to bring my dog for an additional charge. There are dvds to borrow. 2 things that made me go 4 were: internet restricted to 250’mb (seriously for the price this is archaic) and no electric charging despite claiming to be environmentally friendly. Would recommend though and will revisit.

We found this motel very clean on arrival, but supposedly because of Covid Red setting there was no contact with management or staff at all. This meant that over our four night stay, there was not cleaning or servicing of any sort. We could leave towel outside to be replaced, but only two sachets of shampoo and body wash meant we had to go out and buy our own. Because of not having the bathroom cleaned during our stay, I resorted to using the makeup flannel and dishwash. We have stayed in othe motel during the same Covid restrictions. but staff have arranged to clean the units while we were out. We were out for several hours every day.
No SKY TV is not advertised and we were hoping to watch the Golf Masters final on the Monday.
There are dogs roaming the property and we did not appreciate having dog poo left in the centre of the path to our unit, which admittedly was cleaned promptly when we told a staff member.
I still give this motel four stars as it was large, comfortable and very quiet and we would stay again, but because of these issues, felt the price could have been reduced.

One of the best motels we’ve stayed in, and we’ve stayed in a lot! Super quiet and very clean and comfortable. Beautiful location with fantastic cafes and restaurants just a few minutes away. The motel operates a very reasonable shuttle service if you want to try some of the wineries on offer. Only gripe would be the very slow and unreliable wifi which I only really noticed when I needed to do some work. But it could be an issue for some.
Highly recommend this fantastic motel.

We called in to enquire about booking and they said to book over the phone rather than on booking.com, because they would give us a better price. They gave us the price for the rooms plus bikes, but when we actually arrived, they charged extra for bikes. We originally had thought 6 of us would use the bikes, but we only used 5 and they still charged us for six. We discussed this miscommunication with them, and they made no effort to correct the situation. One of the beds was hard. Would not recommend.

Clean except for broken toilet flusher. Someone came into our room to remove items from the wardrobe from a previous guest, 4/10 for the view of the roadworks and wifi that didn't work. Nice people though.

The apartments are well set out in nice park like surroundings. The rooms were very clean and tidy. The staff very polite and helpful providing local knowledge on local attractions.
There is no Sky Tv in the rooms and the WIFI is poor and unreliable which is not acceptable in 2022.

Lovely clean, quiet and comfy accommodation. Nice private balcony out from the front ranch slider.
The only thing I will note that may be useful for elderly guests to consider is that the shower was over the bath, and the bath side was deep, especially when getting out onto the floor.
The hand soap and shower gel were in squeeze bottles attached to the walls which needed a good squeeze. If hands are arthritic it could be difficult. (I always take my own toiletries so it didn't bother us. )
We were very happy with our stay and would definitely consider staying here again.

My Wife and I had 2 Awesome nights. It is so peaceful, quiet and just being away from a busy life style....
a chance to just relax, even though we were there for my Best friends wedding.
The staff was so pleasant, warm and friendly.
The room we had was spacious, private and your own parking space outside your door.
They have cooking facilities, utensils, cutlery, microwave and a little fridge 👍.
The Toilet / walk in shower with wash.basin was spacious and not busy..
The Huge King size Bed upstairs was so comfy with a skyline on both sides of the room also a single bed underneath the stairwell and a double sofa bed.
Overall, we highly recommend the stay. 😊❤️👍

Location a little out of the centre of Martinborough, but is really the only true motel in the area. One bedroom loft motel unit, very spacious and ground floor outdoor seating area to enjoy a wine, Hired bikes to explore the wineries one afternoon.
Was advised prearrival, that there would be a list on the office door of unit allocated, but there were staff around the complex to welcome which I feel is more personal.
I have rated noise level as average (I expected quiet) - noticed a ride on lawn mower being used to cart laundry / housekeeping supplies around the complex during the day. Was a little unexpected but being rural and with a large lawn / units spread out, makes light work for housekeeping staff.

We have stayed at The Claremont apartments many times since they were built. It’s in a great location- walking distance to the Square, comfortable, nicely renovated and clean accommodation (good for self catering), nice garden and deck and Weber BBQ . The hosts and staff are very friendly. They are also pet friendly and their own pets are very friendly 😀 ! You can see over time the progressive approach of the current owners including the conference centre and taxi service. We really enjoy staying here and will be back.
