Arrived to find all the rooms open with post-it notes on the windows with our name on. We were able to move straight in without fuss. Bikes were available to borrow if you wanted to go out on them. The room was lovely and comfortable with a large jacuzzi bath. It was all very romantic. Walking distance into Martinborough allowed easy access to restaurants and shops. Would definitely recommend this accommodation.

We have stayed at Martinborough Experience on a number of occasions and we always find the rooms extremely clean, well presented and relaxing. For value and location this facility would be hard to beat, as it is close to the village and within easy walking distance.
Read my review from August 2013 and don't overlook the cooked breakfast.
We'll done Dawn and Bob.

My husband and I went to martinborough for a concert at a local vineyard and had not stayed at this place before. We were thrilled by our experience. The room was lovely, and the bed so comfortable so we slept very well both nights. Plus we received a gorgeous homecooked breakfast each morning which we were able to enjoy outside on a table in the front of our unit. We would definitely stay there again next time we travel to Martinborough. Can't speak highly enough of our stay there. You should stay there too you will not regret it.

We were recommended here by another establishment in Martinborough. What a find! We stayed for the weekend in order to do the wineries on the Saturday and the Wings over Wairarapa on the Sunday, our accommodation made the weekend.
Situated 5 mins walk from the village square, spotlessly clean, quiet, huge bed, wifi and the breakfasts!!!! Served in your room at the time you want them, the continental was incredible and the cooked was everything you could ask for (well, it was everything I could ask for!). Lovely, welcoming, happy hosts.
Makes you proud to be a kiwi!

A lovely self contained B&B; we had the room with a whirlpool bath, which was lovely. The rooms are fairly sizeable and there is good parking. The B&B is only a 10 min walk to the centre where you will find some great restaurants and places to sample the Martinborough wines. The breakfast is lovely and you have the choice of continental or cooked, which you choose the day before and they bring it to your room or you can have it on the veranda in the sun! The owners are very friendly but you may have to pay a deposit in advance, depending on the season, if you are international you may not - just ask. Highly recommended.

We had a very enjoyable stay at this property. The room leant more towards the basic rather than the luxurious, but still had everything we needed, and was perfectly and accurately represented by the photos. Location is quiet, yet close to the town centre.

Real value came with Sharon's friendliness and very helpful recommendations for dining. Also, I got the date wrong on the original booking, which she handled without fuss or making me feel awkward. Much appreciated.

Good motel - smallish room but all you need for 1 or 2 night stay. Decent continental breakfast provided. Parking in front of the unit makes bag carrying easy. The 'boss' was on hand and proactively helpful. Good location to get around Martinborough - on foot or bike or car.

As with previous visits, the care and attention to our stay was excellent and the facilities are fully suited to a B&B offering.
Clean, fresh, tidy and well presented in a friendly environment and only a short stroll to cafes and shops. Stay there - you'll love it.

We stayed at this B&B one night. The room was really big and had a very comfortable king size bed. The bathroom was also very big and we had a shower and a whirlpool. Everything was spotless clean. Wifi was free. Dawn and Bob are great hosts. They really want their guests to feel like home. The breakfast was lovely - we could choose the evening before what we wanted and the next morning breakfast was brought to our room and we had it on our little patio. From the B&B it is a short walk to the town center where you find restaurants and the super market. There is also a cinema in Martinborough but unfortunately it was closed the day we stayed there. We can highly recommend this B&B and would definitely stay there again.

My husband and I were impressed with every bit of our stay at Martinborough Experience. I spoke with Dawn to book our stay in - it was a gift voucher we received as a wedding present. She was really lovely and happy to be flexible with our arrival time as the room was vacant the night before. So we got in early, after finding the place easily - it's a nice quiet street and they have a sign hanging at the end of the driveway. Dawn was there to meet us and show us the room. It was comfortable, warm and spotlessly clean. There are three rooms, each with their own separate entrance. I prefer this kind of privacy - we couldn't hear any noise between the rooms, and if you need your hosts for anything, there's a doorbell by their entranceway. We were also able to borrow their pushbikes and head out around the wineries in the afternoon - there are many within a short, flat riding distance! It's also an easy walk into the centre of Martinborough, and not far down the street (just before you get to the centre of town) there's a Thai restaurant and a Chinese takeaway.
We were offered a choice of breakfasts - bacon and eggs, omelette or continental. We stayed two night so got to give the omelettes and the continental option a try. Both were delicious - especially impressed with the omelettes, which came with toast and were a little bigger than we could get through! You can also specify a time for breakfast (not a time bracket).. and both mornings Dawn and Bob were outside the door with the serving tray, right on time.
I think this is a meticulously run B&B. Cleanliness, friendliness, deliciousness, comfort and location can't be faulted!
