Etihad delayed our flight from Abu Dhabi to Melbourne by 2 hrs which made us miss our connection to Bne. We were put up in the Quality Inn Tullamarine, a fairly ordinary hotel about 10 mins drive. Unfortunately we arrived too late (9.30pm) for their restaurant OR BAR to be open, and the only other places to eat nearby are a Hungry Jacks drive thru (which wouldn't serve us because we didn't have a car!), an Indian restaurant which is without an alcohol licence) and a Lebanese shawarma shop. We managed a coke and a shiwarma before falling into the quite adequate bed for 3.5 hrs sleep before we had to get up at 3.15am to make the first flight out of Tullamarine. The grounds of this hotel are quite large and we had to haul the cases down various pathways to find our room. The reception is 24 hrs so they were up when we left to go to the airport the following morning. They returned the money for our dinner and we got taxis there and back with vouchers from Etihad. If only the bar had been open it might have been a pleasant, short stay.

Very near the airport and comfortable beds. Always have shuttles to the airport 24/7 and few minutes drive if you have a car. Parking is included with accommodation. Good enough for the price so if you’re on a budget this would be a good place to stay compared to expensive parkroyal and holiday inn. Bring a sleeping pill if you’re a light sleeper though as the walls are paper thin and you can hear everything going on outside.

Good location for the airport, frequent shuttle busses and very friendly staff. Nice outdoor area by the garden rooms. Room a decent size and shower was good. Bed was quite comfy. Room needed a good clean, stains on the carpet and bedding dirty with stains top and bottom. The lock on the main door didn't lock. Luckily it had a catch chain which I used having just glown from the UK I didn't have the energy to go to reception to change rooms. Wouldn't stay again for the cleanliness reasons shame because this could be a really good hotel with some improvements

Comfortable and spacious accommodation, perfect for one night with a large family (had 2 bedroom). Easy airport shuttle, reception very welcoming and helpful. Nice comfortable beds and block out blinds for a really good sleep.

We have stayed at other hotels near Tullamarine at much higher cost but Quality Inn has been an absolute delight. The room was small but clean and fresh and the staff warm and welcoming. The menu was extensive, the food delicious, the breakfast great. The bed was comfortable and the Airconditioning quiet and effective. The pool looked inviting and for a longer stay I would have definitely been in, well maybe if it was a little bit warmer. Can’t speak highly enough of it. Thank you Thi and Nella, you made our stay special. We will be back another time.

Our stay here was saved by one of the property’s best assets, a staff member named Ragda. The initial room we were shown was tiny, smelled musty and just didn’t seem to be consistent with what we saw online but Ragda met with us, was empathetic and showed us two or three optional rooms, assisted us with luggage and made sure we were comfortable. When we asked prior to booking if there were any spa rooms we were told there were not but lo and behold the room we were moved to had a large corner spa. I assume the chap we spoke to then has not actually been in any of the rooms 🙂 All the staff we met were friendly and efficient and our room was spotless, the bedding fresh, soft and the bed itself very comfortable. There were plenty of very comfortable pillows along with extra towels. Our room was quiet and overlooked the unground pool and spa. Secure parking was appreciated too.

Would have been OK however my luggage was dropped and damaged as it was removed from the shuttle bus. The hotel claimed it was already damaged (it wasn't) and I should ask the airport to provide CCTV video showing that my case wasn't damaged already. There was no apology, instead only accusations that our case was damaged already and we were basically making it up. My suitcase cannot be used again and I will have to replace it. This obviously ruined our stay, in particular the way in which the manager treated us.
If you must stay here, insist on loading and unloading your luggage yourself and take photos of your cases. Note that you'll need to be able to phone when you land to arrange the shuttle bus. You can store luggage but at your own risk - anyone could take it and they are not tagged. Best to store in your room.

The hotel is a good option for the start or end of a trip - a free shuttle service to the airport is offered. A decent breakfast, pleasant and clean rooms, and parking is also available. We spent two nights in the hotel, once on the first floor and once on the ground floor - both were OK. The hotel's own Pks Restaurant serves good food and we will remember it for its extremely friendly service. The staff at reception were also very courteous. At the suggestion of the shuttle driver, they even treated us with a drink on the house because we had to wait for the replacement ride on arrival due to an overcrowded shuttle in the cold night. That was a very nice gesture. If we were to fly to Melbourne again, this hotel would be on our list.

This is out second time staying here and I have no problem in recommending it to others. Clean well operated staff very courteous. Located amongst several places to eat and busy Mickleham road is not able to be heard once you shut your door . Will stay again .

We stayed here again before an early morning interstate flight. Last time we stayed the rooms were dated, this time, the room we had was fresh, clean and spacious. Beds were comfy and staff were friendly. The convenience of leaving our car for a minimal nightly fee and the airport shuttle make this our go to hotel when we travel. Unfortunately due to covid, the restaurant is currently closed, but we were given a toaster to make breakfast and there are places nearby to eat or you can order in dinner.

Hi, yes they will pick you up from Broadmeadows station or Broadmeadows shopping centre. Between the hours 9-5. Just ring them when ready to be picked up. As long as they have no airport pick ups if they do you might just have to wait a little.

We did not have a car, but arrived there by hotel shuttle bus, so cannot reply to your question.
Big parking is under hotel itself and i do not think it will be a problem booking it on the spot.
Hi - I stayed one night so that nights parking was included in the room rate. The car was parked with the quality hotel for 9 nights prior to me actually using my booked accommodation. From memory it was AUD $7 or $8 per night. Excellent value
