We are in our eighth season at Rocks and we couldn't be happier and more satisfied. Our room had a wonderful view and as our season coincided with the Laax Open we had the privilege of watching an incredible show!
I recommend it for all families, from children to teenagers.
There is the option of reaching the mountain's restaurants by gondola, as well as hiking through the forest.
When my children were babies, I managed to have lunch on the mountain with the whole family together.

We have been on holiday at Rocksresort three times in winter and once in summer. The accommodation is very modern and has always been very clean.
The location is great. Every apartment has its locker included to store skis and snowboards, so it is very convenient when getting ready to hit the slopes. Moreover, the cable car is located right next to the accommodation. The Laax ski area is perfect for everyone with lots of easy as well as advanced slopes. Furthermore, it is great for snowboarders as it has a snowpark with two halfpipes. There are also many restaurants and bars for après ski :)
When the weather is not as good Rocksresort offers the possibility to use the Spa in the hotel. However, it is slightly pricey with a cost of CHF 30 per person.
When on holidays at Rocksresort during summer there are lots of hiking options. We would recommend doing the Trutg dil Flem hike taking the cable car up from Flims. Another possible activity is visiting Lake Cresta and Cauma, which are two beautiful lakes. It is possible to swim in them. However, at lake Cauma there is an entrance fee, which is cheaper for guests staying at Rocksresort on showing the guest card when paying.
The only point we would like to mention is the receptionists seem to be disorganised and communication between themselves and the resort seems to be lacking at times. For instance, we accidently left a jacket there one time and we rang and they told us that they did not find anything but that they would check again and ring us back, which they never did. We had to ring them again and complain to which in turn they double checked and found the jacket. Moreover, last time we were there they told us we had to pay for cleaning at the end of our stay, which we had already included in our price, so we had to show them our booking to prove it.
However, everything else was great and we would definitely recommend staying at Rocksresort to anyone!

I had a great stay over the holidays with our family. The rooms are beautiful, but not child friendly for little ones. The room is basically concrete, rock tile, and wood with sharp edges. The TV, phone, and lamp is only a foot off the ground, very easily reached by a baby that just learned to crawl. On the flip side, some of the cabinet shelves are so high up even I had trouble reaching them and I'm 6'3". (Hint: There is a step ladder hidden under the refrigerator.) I didn't discover this until day 3.
The resort area is very nice, but not stroller friendly. Even the Kinderhort doesn't have any direct access. I ended up having to drag a stroller uphill through the snow.
If you are not a skier, your options of things to do is limited. If you are staying in the resort, you'd have to pay 30 CHF per adult per day to use the pool in the signiahotel, which is a little steep.
Overall, the place is very well laid out and you can't get better access to the lifts. The ski locker provided by the lift is also very convenient, and my oldest son had a great time with at the ski school there. I would definitely come here again, but I'd wait until my youngest is at least 3 or 4 years old.

Location of this place is very nice! Centrally directly located at where the ski lifts of Laax start. The apartments are fairly new, completely furnished. The beds are rock hard 😩 and pillows are very thin, they charge 5 chf per extra pillow which is strange since the quality of the first one is crap. The apartment has a Nespresso, a water cooker and small dishwasher. Further on a smart tv and a seating area and a small sofa.
One car per apartment is included an extra car is 15 chf per day. A heated ski locker is included in the apartment price. In the apartment complex are ski shops, bars and restaurants and a small supermarket.
Charging for EV cars is possible - normal charging tokens are not accepted only card payments.
Place is not cleaned during stay and towel change is possible at extra cost.

We opted for the "hotel service" with our apartment, which included towels, daily cleaning, ski locker, and breakfast. It was worth it to us. The kitchen was well equipped for our meal prep. The only downside was the size of the bedrooms and nightstands, as they are a bit small and the second room with two beds could use a lamp relocation. It appears the wall lights were installed with a single centered bed in mind, so when there are two beds, the lights are in the way of your head (see photos) and you might just knock into them.
Otherwise, this was an excellent choice... great apartment, great location, great breakfast, and an included locker for your skis that was located slopeside (no lugging your equipment). It also had underground parking and easy walking to the lifts and restaurants.

The location of Rocksresort is fantastic and wat a great resort it is. Ski in ski out. The private heated ski and skiboots lockers in the basement ski room are wel situated next to ski escalator to the ski piste. The restaurants and bars are hip and fun. Also the supermarket and bakery in the resort is very convenient, We stayed in a 3 bedroom apartment with our 4 adult children. Good quality, minimalistic, but high end, large enough for one week. The overall concept of the resort will give you one of the best experiences you can find in the Alps.

We had a 4 bedroom apartment as always, it's our 10th stay. The first years are great but now the resort needs renovation. Our dishwasher was broken. Many dust under the beds and even under the couch in the sittingroom. We paid a lot and EXPACTED of course value for our money.
Also the closets where we put our ski-stuff need cleaning and renovation.
The only positive thing is that the resort is situated at the skislope.

Coming to stay at the Rock Resort is like coming home and being at home in such a mountain spot is a guarantee that visitors will come again and again .
Our stay this year was to celebrate our son and wife's wedding in Laax with reception at the Casa Veglia . I can only say it was a day I could have over and over again and could not have been held anywhere more scenic in the mountains .
The resort offers ideal accommodation for family members wishing to enjoy additional days before and after the such an event and staying in a holiday apartment is a convenient choice with children and todlers.
The resort is located at the cable car station which is ideal for taking hiking trips and this year we experienced the fascinating newly opened tree top walk over the forest to the village of Laax .
There are various activities such as a skater circuit at the resort itself to allow the children to race around within a very safe environment and parents can look on from one of the cafè or bar areas Around the resort there are several restaurants , shops, bakery and even a hairdresser, which makes such a stay extremely relaxing. Facilities at the Signina Hotel, such as the spa area are also available
The apartments are fully furnished and functional so that you can enjoy home cooked meals which is comforting when children are amongst the group..

Booking was very easy and the staff was friendly. The rocksresort also offer digital facilitation (pre-check-in and check-out can be done online to save time). What I really liked about rocksresort is that it's basically a small village (restaurants, sports shops, tourist information) which also is directly linked to access of outdoor activities. This is maybe also the downside: a lot of people and the place can become very busy and noisy. Luckily the buildings and rooms are very well insulated.
Stayed in an apartment which was equipped with almost everything which is needed on a daily basis. It was clean and the mini spa was more than expected. The architecture is modern. However, the light concept could've been brighter. It was tendentially too dark so that one would need to read his/her book in bed with the help of the bedside lamp there.
Coming back to the modern architecture: disappointing was the ventilation system (Minergie): some of the rooms were only poorly ventilated. As the windows cannot be opened (wherever available), some of those were not enjoyable to stay in.
One more point to mention: mattresses were really poor. They were thin and possibly also saggy. Not very comfortable to stay for a longer stay.
The experience was wonderful and unique. However, due to the mentioned points above, overal rating is "average" only.

Hi, no there are no balconies.
The pool is in the nearby hotel
You can pay extra for it.
We’ve stayed in one of those apartments in the Winter. We had to have the door open to the living room to let in air. The windows all have a vent that you can open down one side but I’m not sure if there’s air con, it’s not big in Switzerland as it’s not very environmentally friendly. Its definitely worth spending a bit more for the windows.
There are rental options in the resort, FREE and Meini Sport. Both good.
