We stayed at the hotel in May with our 9 month old baby and we found it very good overall. It was our first family vacation. We decided to go half board in the end as the little one goes to sleep between 6-7pm so going out for dinner wasn’t really an option for us and the difference between B&B and HB was 20 Euro in the week!!
We arrived at the hotel in the evening and we were greeted by a lovely lady named Olga that checked us in very quickly and we were off to our room.
The hotel is lovely and clean – no creepy crawlies. The room was cleaned daily and towels changed. Shampoo, shower gel, cups, toothbrushes with toothpaste and soaps are provided in the room. There is a mini-fridge which we found very useful with the baby to store her food and a few things for ourselves. The room and bathroom look "used" but that didn’t bother us.
There was free Wi-Fi everywhere in the hotel.
Breakfast and Dinner were buffet style and in my opinion had something for everyone. The selection was a bit repetitive but there was so much of everything that you definitely could eat something different every day. There was a great selection of pastries and breads in the mornings as well as a chef that would make you fresh fried eggs to your liking. In the evening the chef would be making fresh grilled veggies or your choice of meat/fish. There was ice cream available for dessert every evening meal as well as a wide selection of cakes. Fresh fruit: melons, pineapple, apples, oranges, pears, bananas were available at both meals. The waiting staff were very nice and friendly - especially Niko who my little girl adored. High chairs were available in the dining room.
The hotel has a small playground for the kiddies and there is a kiddies disco every night in the reception area. We saw a sign for a kids club in the basement as well but as our little girl is too young we did not check it out. There were many families with kids staying in the hotel.
There were 2 let downs to the trip - 1) the indoor swimming pool and wellness area advertised on their website comes at extra cost - 10E per person per 4hours! and I was told that it is not suitable for kids under 2. This was really disappointing as my little one loves to swim and the weather wasn’t allowing us to use the outside pool and the indoor pool was one of the reasons we decided on the hotel. Lovely Eva - on reception however called a nearby pool for us and arranged that we could go there. 2) the beds were very, very uncomfortable - my husband and I woke up every morning "broken" and needed to stretch a bit before we were ok - now having said that: we got used to the beds after the week - so this might be just purely personal thing.
The location of the hotel is a bit off the beaten track, surrounded by camping sites. It’s very close to the promenade and the beach - 1-2 min walk. The promenade goes all the way into the center of Blanes. It is a lovely walk but it takes around 20 min. It’s around 10 min walk form the bus station where you can take a bus to Lloret del mar, Tossa del mar, Barcelona or if you are feeling lazy - into the city :) There are a few local super markets around the hotel where you can pick up a few bits and bobs. We enjoyed the location very much as thanks to it we were on the move all the time.
The hotel seems to be set for the Russian tourists and there were a lot of them staying in the hotel.

I can warmly recommend this hotel. We stayed there for about 10 days, the second half of May. In fact we choose it because it had a SPA and this SPA is amazing. If you book it for one week it is for about 4 euro per person per day. The rooms were good size with balconies and they were cleaned every day. The food variety and quality was pretty good and the personal of the restaurant was very polite and hardworking (they really sell the drinks for dinner but nobody oblige you or force you to buy-it is your choice. If you do not want any drink – nobody is going to bother you). Each evening they organize disco party in the bar close to the reception and from time to time there is a program.
The garden and the swimming pool are very nice, too.
The wi-fi is free of charge for guests.

Blanes is a nice small town with a very good beach. And the region around this hotel looks safe.

One more time I’ll repeat that we liked this hotel.

Currently been waiting half an hour for breakfast although meant to open at half 7 reception have said it is 8 o'clock. So went back to the room to show the ticket they gave us which in fact states half 7. I showed him this and he said ohh I go see. He checked and said they will open in 5 mins for us. So we wait. 20minutes pass....Still nothing you can hear them in there just open the doors and let us sit down rather than lock us out curtains shut and pretend we aren't there. There is nothing more rude than being ignored. Ohh and I went back down to reception to be told they told me 5 minutes tomorrow will be half 7 but today they couldn't. No reason no nothing. Terrible service. We get in and half the food looks like it has been sat there, the beans literally looked like a slab, I don't even know how to describe the aged skin coating them. As a typical brit I still went straight in and enjoyed. The breakfast was good it's just a shame the whole service before hand that has really put me in a bad mood for the day.

This comes after the day we checked which which we were told the room would be ready in 10mins. We waited a further half an hour. This was uncomfortable as we had delays with the transfer to get there and were very tired.

Looking forward to a nice double room/ bed to sleep in and low and behold it is 2 single beds pushed together, I actually fell down the gap in the night and hurt my ankle. Surely if you ask for a double room and pay for one you don't expect 2 single beds.

Let's hope the rest can be redeemed but it has been a very frustrating start so far. I would say the staff are polite and nice however maybe a bit of training on customer service would not go a miss.

I look forward to your response as the people I have complained to so far have not seemed bothered to rectify anything.

Stayed in a suite for 10 nights. Smell of a dirty rag or stagnant water in the room for entire stay.
Breakfast: The egg chefs were extremely rude to the guests especially the black guy. Both egg chefs need to be removed from interaction with the guests. Dining room staff were unfriendly. Food was only adequate.
Bar service and staff was good. Fernando was very customer friendly. Reception staff not as friendly and helpful as one would expect.
Would not advise anyone to book this hotel.

This is our third stay here and we have previously really enjoyed it. This time we didn’t as the hotel has let it’s self go in a number of areas so we won’t be going back.

Positives - nice rooms, pool area and garden are pretty. Reasonable location. Food okay.

Negatives - the hotel is very French orientated so don’t expect the same manners as at home. You will queue for everything. You will NEVER get a sunbed by the pool !! The hotel does not stop people putting their towels on the sun beds early in the morning despite them not being used for a number of hours if at all. There are very few beds as it is (about 30) so you will have no chance of getting one, a lot of people ended up on the grass which is wet and muddy ! It is nice to look at but useless if you can never use. A few selfish people ruin it for everyone with the hotel turning a blind eye - Judging by peoples reactions to this I can’t see many repeat bookings. The hotel is just to big for its infrastructure. Book elsewhere.

We are here for the Spanish GP and booked through Fleetway Travel/Secret Escapes. We booked this particular hotel and paid the extra price as the information from Secret Escapes described it as a 4* hotel and provided lovely photos! Well don’t be fooled by this.

Please be assured this is definitely not a 4* hotel, the room is horrible, really smelly and very basic with one plug socket in the room. We did ask to change rooms as we had paid for a 4* room but was told we had to pay extra for an upgrade! So glad we are only here for 2 nights and we certainly won’t be ever return to this hotel anytime soon.

Secret Escapes/ Fleetway Travel, take note, this is not our first disappointment when booking a short break through you!!!

We stayed in this hotel during our family's 10-days vacation in July 2015. I really recommend book this hotel with Full Board because restaurant is amazing! The rooms are cleaned daily, toiletries are sufficient. There is two single-bed and one rollaway bed in the standard room. Recommendation: ask room with pool view and you'll have quite nights and non-disturbing sun. Beach is just 5-7 minutes by feet. The pool is not very big but clean. There is a small playground for children and ping-pong table in the pine-garden.

Single mother with two kids - had to pay as for two adults and a kid.
Food is good, but drinks are not included. Should pay even for water - 2,5 euros per bottle.
Spa is 10 euros extra per day per person.
All these surcharges are somewhat disappointing.
The seashore in August is very crowded, the hotel pool is an alternative - kids seem to appreciate.
Personnel's second language (after Spanish) is Russian - the hotel is booked almost exclusively by Russians.
Next time will rent a flat.

This hotel was booked with cheap cheap cheap in mind. It didn't disappoint. However, it wasn't that bad. Rooms were very clean and towels chaged every day. Food was good but with not much daily variation. breakfast was always the same. Swimming pool was small and deep with no signs to say how deep the water was. Enertainment consisted of a man called Jamacia, playing his organ to sounds of the 1970's (glitterball and roving spotlights included!) The hotel guests loved him.
This is a hotel that suits the elderly. Most came on a coach holiday from the UK.
The hotel is cheap, both my friend pair £60 each for half board for 5 nights. I would return but only for another short break. I'll go nuts if i had to stay longer.
The resort is poor. The main street is dirty and untidy. The beach was okay.
The hotel says it wheelchair friendly. It;s okay for wheelchairs. Nothing special though. It's a shame there is a very very steep ramp half way on the ground floor. A helper would be reauired to get up/down the ramp.
I've said enough. Book it cheap and you've got a bargain.
