Tomir Portals Suites comes highly recommended for its prime location, mere steps from the marina and beaches. Guests often extol the virtues of the spacious and spotless rooms, which come with the added convenience of kitchenettes.
The hotel's modern vibe, complete with stylish furnishings, contributes to a comfortable atmosphere, although the music may not be to everyone's taste. With its excellent service and a lovely pool area, many travelers consider it a great value, despite some limitations in amenities.

My boyfriend and I stayed here for 5 nights and had the most amazing time!
The hotel itself is beautiful, modern and clean and the rooms are a great size with a balcony. It’s in a perfect location just a 10 minute walk to the marina and around a 20 minute walk the beach.
We had breakfast included with our room and the food was fresh with so many options even for vegetarians.
Soft drinks and cocktails were very reasonably priced.
You can hire a Balinese bed for the whole day (I think we paid around €20) but you receive water and fresh fruit in the price and you can upgrade for a bottle of bubbles.
The staff were really friendly and helpful.
We would definitely stay here again and would highly recommend this hotel if you’re staying in Portals!

The Tomir is a basic 4 star hotel. It is not a luxury hotel but is very good value for the price. The staff are very kind and hardworking and the pool area is clean and fun for both kids and adults. The facilities were very clean and Breakfast is quite good with a a decent variety of healthy food. The price of top shelf drinks and wine at the hotel very very reasonable and though service was slow, the food and drinks were good.
Unfortunately I didn’t sleep well during our stay. The a/c units in all the rooms are very noisy through the night VERY noisy. The bed was nearly shaking from the rumbling I mentioned this to staff and was told they are all like that. The beds are extremely hard and pillows are not comfortable. I found the beds terrible and ended up sleeping on the sofa bed as it was softer. The room cleaning was also hit and miss on certain days they wouldn’t come or wouldn’t do the entire room. On other days it was excellent.
Also our sea view room only had a partial sea view if you leaned over the balcony. Our brother had a sea view room as well in the same price category and his room had a full on proper view. These rooms should Should be different prices and differentiated as partial and full sea view. Overall the location is good (it’s a 10 -15 min uphill walk on the way back from the port and beach (which may not suitable for elderly or very young children) but was fine for us.
We had a nice stay at Tomir and thank all the staff for there great service.

I have just returned from a long weekend away with my friends to this gorgeous hotel. The hotel is really lovely and modern. The staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming. The food in the bar area is delicious with lots of choice. The cocktails and sangria are incredible, made fresh every time and reasonably priced at around 7 EUROS each. The pool area is spotlessly clean, with lots of beds. There's a small pool for children too. The bedrooms are gorgeous with lots of space. We had a room with a huge terrace with sunbeds, great if you have small children napping as you could get some rays whilst they rest. Very comfortable beds, spare pillows and blankets in the wardrobe. There's a small kitchenette with a kettle and fridge which came in handy to keep our gin and tonic cool! We booked a transfer through the hotel for our arrival and departure and they were both on time and comfortable transfers with no issues. What sets this B&B hotel apart from the others is its incredible breakfast. There was so much choice, from continental hams, cheese and salads, to cooked breakfast. There was a healthy corner with freshly squeezed juices, not the horrible watered down cordial you get in some hotels. Lots of dried fruits and berries, cereals, freshly baked bread. They even had fresh honeycomb which was just lovely. There was plenty of vegan and vegetarian dishes, rice, almond milk etc so definitely a great choice for the veggies amongst us. The coffee was delicious and hot which again is sometimes a rarity in hotels! It was all set out so beautifully which made it all the more appealing! I genuinely loved this place, well organised, friendly staff, gorgeous food, modern hotel and I wouldn't hesitate to book again. If I had one tiny piece of criticism, is that it got very busy at lunchtime and with people buying cocktails, the bar staff's time was taken up making them, leaving people sat at the tables waiting for over 20 minutes sometimes to order food. It would be best to assign one member of the team to do table service alone at lunchtime so that there was no long wait. But that is just me being observant. It really was such a wonderful hotel.

Stayed here the second week of October at the temp was starting to lower particularly on an evening, so my advise would be to bring something long sleeved for an evening time. The hotel was stunning, well maintained pool and bar area with a small and friendly team that work both breakfast and on the bar. The general manager is very attentive and welcoming to guest showing visibility in the breakfast areas assisting colleagues with their duties. The reception team especially Marta assisted with keeping a family arrival surprise under wraps which was a great help. The pool/sea view rooms give you the best of both worlds with views of the sea and the mountains. Perfect location in portals and not far from the larger more commercialised areas of Palma Nova and illetes. Will certainly be booking to go back to the Tomir some time soon!

The hotel has a contemporary look and the public areas are very comfortable. Breakfast is buffet style and has everything you need. Made to order omelettes are delicious. Staff are all very helpful and friendly. Lots of sun beds but I was dismayed to see people put their towels out very early despite not coming to use their sun loungers for several hours later and this is not address by the hotel. Towels are available for use with 10 euro returnable deposit. The use of an iron from reception is bookable for a 2 hr period otherwise any longer incurs a charge. The bedrooms are huge with a sitting area with a small area that houses a fridge and a kettle. My fridge also had a small freezer at the top which was welcomed to freeze my water. The other rooms we got for our party had two balconies byput no freeerbin their fridge. Food at lunch time was ok depending what was ordered. The wraps looked good. Ceasar salad wasn’t very good as it had tasteless breaded chicken and no anchovies despite asking for them when offered. The same tasteless chicken that was sold as chicken strips. The bar area inside and outside was a nice place for drinks in the evening.
There are two small lifts which can only be occupied by your party due to COVID, so I can imagine if you were on a higher floor it would be a long walk up or a long wait.
Portal nous was an easy walk away about 10 to 15 mins. Lots of really good restaurants at the Port or up in the town such as Chamelis.
Really enjoyed our stay at this hotel and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it.

When we arrived to Tomir Portals Suites the Receptionist told us that our Booking Company charged 2 rooms by mistake and that they would refund one of the rooms back.
I've asked for the refund and they told me that on the checkout I could have it.
When I checking out of the hotel they told me the rooms are not refundable and therefore I couldn't get the money back.
I get that the rooms are non-refundandable but if you say that I could get a refund, and then change your mind, it's not my fault that your team is not communicating properly.
Also, room service didn't picked the dirty dishes from the room for more than 48 hours. I had to go to the reception and complain about it, and they only cleaned after that.
Really sad with the treatment the hotel provided us.
Bad Service.
Bad Communication.
(It's October, I've travelled in September and I haven't got the invoice yet)

I stayed here with 2 friends for a long weekend. It’s clean and modern with large rooms and good amenities. The service is friendly and nothing is rushed. The food and drinks are reasonably priced especially compared to the port.
We stayed in a room on the 6th floor with a view of the pool. It had a small kitchenette with fridge, shower room, 2 beds and sofa bed. The thing we noticed on our girls trip were that there were plenty of mirrors in the room to use to get ready, plenty of plug sockets and plenty of hangers already in the room.
We had breakfast at the hotel. There are enough tables to choose where to sit. Good selection of cereals, pastries, fruit and cooked breakfast items. Coffee is from a self serve machine but it’s still good quality.
We ate lunch at the hotel while there and the food was great. The portions are really generous and as mentioned the prices were reasonable (pizza 12.50, bottle of rose 14.50 for example). The service is a little slower here but it adds to the laid back feel of the hotel.
The pool area is clean and has sun beds and umbrellas/parasols for shade. The area at the bottom near the breakfast gets sun first, then the opposite side of the pool from the hotel, then the section near the bar by about 11am in august and then the beds next to the hotel building. We then finished our day with a cocktail before heading up to get ready.
It’s about 10 mins downhill to Portals from the hotel. Taxis can be arranged by reception and can get you there in a couple of mins for around 5 euros. Taxi to Magaluf is about 15 euros and takes 10 mins. Palma Nova is on the way.
I’d go back with the girls and would also enjoy staying there with my family (husband and 2 boys).

This hotel was perfect for our 5 day break. The breakfast is delicious with excellent choice. Made to order omelettes are delicious. Staff are superb nothing is a problem for them, very attentive and happy to help. The food served at lunch and evening up to 9.30 pm was always lovely, and considering it is Portals its quite reasonably priced too with good size portions. The staff in the pool bar make excellent cocktails and again are well priced between 8 and 10 euros on the port you can pay up to 17 per cocktail! The rooms were cleaned daily with fresh towels when needed. Spacious bright clean modern hotel. I went with 4 friends. There was people of all ages. I even tried the gym which was suitable for all. Free wright's multi gym and cardio equipment. The location is about 10 minute walk to the port and about 15 minutes to msin street to other bars restaurants. We found the meals were better vslue on the street rather than the port. Night in magaluf cost 8 euros in a taxi and Palma was about 20. Highly recommend visit to Palma it is beautiful. We had excellent advice where to go from the lovely girl behind the bar in the hotel. She served the best cocktails. I cant recall her name but shes Spanish with a slight American accent. Loved this holiday and would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone going to Portal Nous.

It was my 1st time in Mallorca so I didn't know where anything was, but the location of our hotel was in the right spot. Restaurants, beaches, grocery store gift store and the taxi link up point we're all in walking distance. The room I stayed in was a nice two bed room with a pull out bed in the sofa, had the best sleep after a full day out and about. Definitely had the best breakfast buffet I've eaten plenty of protein options, veggies, fruit and breads. The bar/restaurant in the hotel were also enjoyable with the prices of liquor and food were all reasonable and the food came out with you not waiting too long for it. The pool was nice used salt water instead of chlorine so it wasn't bad on your skin. Would stay there again and recommend to others.
