This is a special hotel in a special location. The staff are very friendly and also very professional. The food in the restaurant is excellent and has such a great atmosphere. The breakfast is also superb. This is our favourite hotel and we are looking forward to returning next year.

Elegant, clean, tastefully decorated. So tasteful that the guests who wore shorts to dinner looked like slobs. Incredible location -- possibly the best? The food was incredible. We took the half board option and were never bored. We ate every meal except one at the hotel and they were all delicious. Maybe one meal was just ok but that is personal preference. Most of the time we were overjoyed by what was served to us. Best breakfast during our entire Mallorca trip. Loved having dinner on the terrace. The hotel also has the most incredible walk through the forest directly from its doorstep which we did several times to work off the food. Also, the 1000 year old olive grove was magical. Everyone that works here is a consummate professional. When my husband ordered an aperol spritz and they were out of aperol, they offered to make an alternative with... Nestled in the foothills in a charming village but only 8 kms from Alaro, the Finca is perfectly placed for a chilled visit. Great walks locally particularly over the hills to Alaro. Plenty to see locally or just crash out by the pool and enjoy the view. The breakfast is lovely and the evening meals offer a wide choice for all tastes.

This is the third time we have visited this delightful little gem of a hotel in the heart of Mallorca's beautiful Tramuntana Mountains. The hotel is in the most stunning location with breathtaking views out over the surrounding mountains & hills. It takes under an hour to drive from Palma to Orient & so it is an easy drive from the airport through the amazing Mallorca countryside. The hotel swimming pool and gardens also have the most incredible views. It was quite difficult to leave the infinity pool with such utterly breathtaking views! The hotel is quiet & very relaxing. The staff are lovely & nothing is too much trouble. The rooms are well designed, clean, comfortable & simply furnished. The food is excellent & we can't wait to return. This is truly a wonderful place to visit if you are looking for somewhere quiet, relaxing & romantic! We highly recommend this idyllic hotel.…

What an amazing place - up in the picturesque Tramontana mountains with fabulous, well kept gardens and stunning views over a plain. The room was perfect and contained all that we needed. The food was very good and it is served in two dreamy settings and there is an excellent range of affordable wines. If you want to recharge the batteries this is the place because the staff are attentive and you don't have to lift a finger. Good value too.

We spent 4 lovely relaxing days in the villa. The location is spectacular. The villa is out on it's own away from any other buildings. Just scenery and a few sheep to be seen. The villa was well equipped and extremely comfortable. It was cleaned daily and was immaculate. The pool and terrace area are fabulous. We had a very good breakfast at the hotel daily. A pleasant 10 minute walk away. The hotel restaurant was good and there are two others in the village. One of which we tried and liked. The road on to Bunyola is very windy but not too bad once you get used to it. Very scenic. The hotel has it's own hiking routes on the doorstep and it is close to national trails for longer walks or cycling. The villa was excellent value and the reality even better than the photos.

Finca Hotel Son Palou is such a wonderful place to stay. Glorious beautiful views, peaceful, amazing pool vista, exceptional dinner offering ( I work with Michelin restaurants in London) and welcoming staff. We did several hikes and found ruins all over the place with lots of surrounding history. Lovely air conditioned airy rooms with big bathrooms and walk in showers. Most of all it's just so peaceful. This was a spur of the moment booking. The Hotel is situated in an idyllic location, in the heart of the Tramuntana Mountains of Mallorca. Our room was a little small with the bay windows opening on a common terrace which was a little odd, however, apart from this everything was just perfect. The service was impeccable, friendly and knowledgeable. The Hotel is very tastefully decorated and is full of local History. The gardens are beautiful and there are plenty spaces outdoors to sit and relax in privacy. And Nature is everywhere and just beautiful. This is a go to destination if you need to resource, relax and recharge.

We had a great stay in Son Palou. enjoying the beautiful scenery, wonderful location and excellent hospitality of the staff. Traveling as a family with two almost adult kids, we had two large an wonderfully furnished rooms close to another. We felt very welcome, the food was always excellent, while the choice of drinks could have been a bit more "innovative". The pool with a view was the absolute highlight, even on the one cloudy day we had!

This is authentic accommodation with every comfort you could want,and super friendly helpful staff. Fantastic infinity pool with views to die for across the valley flanked by stunning mountains. N.B. rooms 6 and 5 have only a small balcony or none at all, but given all the numerous places to sit and enjoy the grounds this need not be an issue. Being without a car will limit your choices to explore the island and alternative eating places, although the breakfast choices were excellent and plentiful. The evening meal options were also very good enabling one to experience Mallorcan cuisine,and a good snack menu at lunch. We enjoyed watching the many colourful lycra-clad cyclists who frequent the island at this time of the year(May) and a good base for walking the local footpaths. We very much enjoyed our stay here and although we had a standard room it was exceedingly comfortable with all amenities you could want. We will certainly return in the future.…
