Really nice and modern hotel, lots of sun loungers and activities for all ages every day by the pool. Cleaning service regularly and able to be served at the bar quickly. All inclusive was alright but wouldn’t pay for it again - as alcohol not included and meals times were very samey. But overall nice hotel, very lively and good location
Amazing holiday. Booked over a year ago with a friend. Was hoping for a fun, party holiday. This hotel was in the perfect location for that! KFC, McDonald’s, Burger King and Subway all in close proximity of the hotel. Bars and clubs close by. Pool area was clean and great music. Cocktails by the pool were great. Breakfast was amazing. Rooms cleaned and fresh towels daily. Hotel always clean. Staff were always polite and helpful. What a fantastic holiday, we’re already looking at coming back again!
First time going to Samos and I loved every minute of it. Staff were friendly and hotel was clean. Was plenty of jaants there which was perfect and hotel was fine with me bringing them back. Would definitely stay there again for the jaants.
Having in mind the 4 stars classification this hotel is really bad. Broken pieces of furniture, not clean when we arrived, air conditioning is out of order (even after we have asked to be repaired and it was "repaired" twice), no towels for the swimming pool, no shower caps and usual amenities on the toilet, breakfast quality is as low as possible, noisy all night long from the corridors and from the outside,... really bad.
Stayed in hotel Samos what was meant to be 7 nights, left on the first night. As soon as we got in the room there were issues with things not working, most things broken the room was the dirty etc. Staff were rude and unhelpful with everything. Was then woken up too threatening behaviour and people banging on our door for minimum of half an hour. Worst hotel I’ve ever stayed at.
We stayed for 10 days at the beginning of June. I'd emailed in advance of our stay requesting a lower floor (having stayed previously on a higher floor) and our request was accommodated with a room on the 2nd floor overlooking the front of the hotel. The room was ready when we checked in (a little after midday) and the air conditioning was on and so the room was nice and cool. We stayed bed and breakfast and there was plenty of options every day including typical English cooked breakfast and continental breakfast, yogurts, cereals, fresh fruits and bread for toast. All very nice and well cooked. The pool area is very spacious with plenty of sunloungers and seating at the bar area. 2 issues however- 1) the floor is very slippery so footwear needs to be worn and 2) although it is a nonsmoking area people ignored this and smoked anyway. The drinks were expensive too (€18 for 2 slushes with a shot of sambuca in). The entertainment staff worked hard and made the activities fun for everyone and there is a lifeguard on duty every day. There was a lot of noise from the younger guests who played loud music throughout the night and would slam the doors too when coming and going. This didn't bother us as we were there to party too but it may bother older guests or those with children. We will definitely stay at Samos again in the future and would recommend it to our family and friends but not those with young children.…
13 of us stayed here all inclusive for a birthday celebration, mixed ages, hotel caters for all. Hotel is only mins walk to the beach, local shops, bars and restaurants. Room was clean, towels changed daily. Shower was a bit temperamental but not too much of an issue. Great staff from reception, cleaners, bar, to the awesome animation staff. Three drinks with meals is disappointing as it was only beer or wine( can’t blame the hotel for that though) has to be drank in dining room. Paying €1 deposit for cups, was irritating especially if you forget to return cup or take money to the bar, If you purchase alcohol the price of the mixer is taken off the cost which is good. Good activities around the pool during the day, music playing, Guests on higher floors need to be more conscious of where they flick their ash, rubbish. As it would land on our things on the ground floor, Loads of sun-beds available at anytime of the day, think due to the younger ones sleeping! Wasn’t kept awake at night, from noise, which is a bonus, Food is okay, a bit repetitive, although enough to choose from. Would highly recommend for any age group,…
The hotel is clean and very well located close to the strip and the beach (around a 5 minute walk for both). It is across the road from a few shops and a few of the quieter night clubs. We found the Staff for the most part to be very friendly and help you with anything you need. When we arrived and checked in to a room which hadn’t yet been cleaned (other peoples belongings laid across the room), they were accommodating and booked us into the next available room with minimal fuss. The entertainment team are good. They try and get you involved in some activities during the day but not pushy at all. Pool area is good, plenty of sunbeds for everyone and has a lively atmosphere throughout the day. No ball games or inflatables in the pool during the lifeguards shift (10am whilst 6pm). The rooms were suitable, the maids cleaned every day and we never had any issues with the cleaning. Beds were quite comfy and I didn’t struggle getting to sleep at all. The most disappointing thing for me was the food. It was very bland, at times undercooked and I found there is little to no option at any of the 3 meal times. It didn’t look appetising on any day we were there. I was also disappointed with the cleanliness of the glasses provided for fruit juice during breakfast as they were not clean, lip stains and other marks could be very clearly seen around the rims of the glasses so they had very clearly been used and just popped back into the pile waiting for the next person. You get what you pay for with All Inclusive holidays but this has to be by far the worst hotel I have stayed in for the food and everyone I spoke to said the same. I would avoid the restaurant. Theres a KFC across the roads which tasted unbelievable after 3 days of the food in Hotel Samos. The €1 deposit for a plastic cup around the pool isn’t the best, €3.50 for cocktail we found was reasonable however this was due to us being all inclusive and getting the drinks for half price. The new rules in Magaluf now mean that if you book the All Inclusive package, you are limited to either 3 drinks of either Lager (locally produced Cruzcampo on tap), locally made Sangria or locally made wine. You are only able to get these during meal times (lunch and dinner) where you have to order from the bar located in the restaurant. You have to give your room number to the bar staff in order for them to keep track on how many drinks you have had. The gym was good even though it was quite small. We didn’t use it as we weren’t sure if it was included in our packaged or whether we would be charged. Overall I would not say this was a 4* hotel, it is definitely more of a 3*. There are definitely better places to stay in Magaluf.…
Unprepared and unprofessional staff. Stay was full of mistakes and they are unable to help and permanently have a bad attitude. The rooms are cheap and entertainment is really sad. If you come with kids, be prepared to see prostitutes every night in front of the hotel.
Been to samos many many times allways loved this hotel, not any more rooms still nice & clean, day entertainment still same very good most of staff are the same & very friendly. Hotel falls under the 3 drink rule so we went full boad what a wast that was, breakfast OK lunch & dinner were deafull the cheapest cut of pork & tiny chicken wings every single day very very poor choice no cheese or hams to even make a salad, there was water with lunch & dinner for 7days of my holiday on day 8 the water had gone you have to pay for water with your meal I complained & all they said was what room are you in very intimidating as if don't like it leave. So had to eat out a lot. The bar is over priced one euro deposit for a plastic cup €2.50 for a small beer €2 for a pint outside hotel €7.50 for vodka & cola. I will be back to magaluf very soon but not back to samos the hotel has changed & not for the better.…
