The only good thing about this place was that the bed was comfortable.
WiFi Only worked in reception & not my room, first time that I stayed in a place where the WiFi did not work in the room, mentioned it to reception she made a note but nothing was done about it. I paid £177 for 3 nights 1 adult & 1 child definitely not worth that much, at checkin I was charged another €6.60 for room tax.
It’s only like a 6 minute drive from the airport not even 10, airport bus fare €5 per person so I paid €20 for me & my daughter there & back.
bus fare was extremely high on the island didn’t go as far as using taxis, no day ticket scheme €2 fare 1 way weather your on the bus for a 1 minute or 20 minutes!!!!
Breakfast frozen scrambled eggs toast a bit of fruit & u have to ask this man what u want, which is understandable with corona.
Housekeeping was good, no fridge in room considering it’s always hot on the island, no kettle in room, given just 1 tiny soap on arrival which was never replaced & nothing else.
Food on the island is very pricey even a single ice cream is no less than £2.
Beach is like a 5 minute walk.
If I ever return to palma., definitely not staying here again.

Second visit to this hotel. Unfortunately this last visit left a lot to be desired. Although the hotel is in need of updating the bedrooms we're cleaned well. Missing in bathroom are shelves and hooks to hang clothes on.Wifi in room was very unstable. HandyBreakfast was very disappointing. Dining room staff not attentive, buffet was always running out of bread, eggs, fruit juices etc. This part of the hotel needs a good shake up.

So, this is the first time I’ve ever left a review at trip advisor and it’s for my worst interaction at a hotel to this date. We booked a night at Hotel Marbel so we could have a place near the airport that had WiFi. We get there, the guy in reception is perfectly pleasant and we pay the tourist tax (about 4 €). After that we go to the room and have a nap but when we woke up we noticed that there was no WiFi in the room so we go down to reception. This is when things start to go wrong. The man (different person from earlier) does not care at all, he says that every single room has WiFi and that we must’ve been “so unlucky” to get the only room that hadn’t. So we ask to change room, he says there are no other rooms available (there seemed to be plenty as we checked most of the standard booking websites). He was clearly extremely uninterested in helping so we left it at that but thought we’d contact booking.com about it.

The next day we go to check out and we left it all behind us, when I see they have charged me once again for the stay (this time for a slightly higher amount) so we go back and they say they have no recollection of us staying there? Even though it was the same lady we dropped our key to only a few hours earlier, she doesn’t remember us so they have to get the guy in who checked us in the day before. He says he remembers us and after a lot of going back and forwards they admit that they accidentally cancelled our original booking. We made the booking on the 26th of June, they cancelled it on the 27th before we arrived and then refunded my original payment and then charged me again, this time with the tourist tax. I tell them I don’t want to pay for the tourist tax again and he laughs at me since it’s only 4 € but then hands it over in cash.

I then contacted booking.com regarding this and Hotel Marbel says we never checked in! After providing bank statements that proved that we had been refunded for our original payment, which we would not have been if we hadn’t showed up, and some other documents, they change their mind and say that we did check in. Customer service at booking.com says that they will write Hotel Marbel regarding some sort of compensation for the lack of WiFi. Today I got back an email that the hotel claimed that every room has WiFi and that I had not gone down to reception to ask to change rooms.

This is an absolute joke! Which is a shame because the rest of the staff (anyone who wasn’t in reception) were really lovely and the room itself was good for the price. However main reason we booked it so we could have WiFi (my boyfriend needed to work) and after the way that the staff in reception treated us, I really hope no one has the same experience as us. Treating your guests like this, even if they’re just staying one night, is laughable and I’ve never had a hotel constantly lie about my interactions with them.

If you are going to Can Pastilla, take a word of advice and just go stay somewhere else.

We spent only one night in this hotel because it was very close to the airport and we had to leave very early in the morning.
We obviously knew it wouldn't be splendid but damn here just lack the basics.
Meanwhile, I can't imagine how they could have given him 3 stars, they must have stuck them with glue!
But maybe one thinks, the disgust of the hotel is compensated by the kindness of the staff ... I in years of Trips have never seen hotel staff so unpleasant and rude ... if they are good when you enter the lobby they nod their heads ..
Lady on arrival had such an unpleasant and rude attitude that you want to lose the money and look for another accommodation.
The room welcomes you with a pleasant smell of closed / mold .. woe to think of putting there just stuff in the closet or drawers, cleaned maybe last month and full of hair ... the bathroom all peeled in every part of the shower curtain dirty hair in the shower tray .. if you dare or have no other choice enter with slippers!
we arrived and the roll of toilet paper was finished, I go to tell the reception and without even a slight sign of apology they gave me a roll taken from under the cabinet .. and last but not least the chain that fits every time you flush.
Honestly I didn't have the courage to take a good look at the sheets because otherwise I wouldn't have slept there but they also intoxicated you with the same smell of the room.
Air conditioning present but not working .. or maybe we were not able to operate it but I never needed an engineering degree to do it so...
And as a final we have the terrace .. the window curtain completely full of stains of do not want to know what .. chairs and rusty table.
160€ per night... a shame.

Such a lovely Spanish cafe. Friendly service, really tasty food. I had breakfast (fresh crusty bread, with tomato, which was perfectly seasoned). It was served with coffee and juice and was delicious, as well as very good value. Loved it!

If you're just after a clean bed and basic facilities, this hotel will do the job, but don't expect much beyond that. It's a tired property in need of an extensive refurb. For the money I paid for 3 nights, I think I was entitled to a better experience. The staff in the main are helpful but a few - in the restaurant - look pretty disinterested. It's a shame really, because it's in a good location and does have facilities that would be excellent if they were given some tlc (roof top pool etc). I would not book again and would not recommend usless for the reason I gave above.

This was a last minute booking only a couple of days before... for ease and simplicity I booked half board.
The location is excellent, and the room is adequate and was cleaned every day.
Sadly the food was a real disappointment. I personally didn't enjoy it at all, and after the first night I decided to eat breakfast and dinner elsewhere. I wouldn't stay at this hotel again on a meal basis, but would be happy with self catering.

I stayed here on Saturday, it's really close to the airport, the beach and shops/restaurants.

It is basic, but great value for money. I would have liked a kettle in the room.

The male receptionist was lovely, and very helpful.

Dinner ok, again basic, but great value.

I would certainly book again.

From check in to check out had nothing but great experience. Was prepaid just had to pay the tourism tax. The kind gentleman on check in changed our room for us as the one originally given had no balcony. Beautiful breakfast with so much choice.
The rooms were clean, yes a bit dated but was clean and that’s the main thing. Excellent location , variety of shops bars and restaurants.
10 minutes from airport easily accessible by A2 bus. Only 3 stops from the airport.
Would certainly stay again and would recommend.
