Had a wonderful 2 week stay here with husband & 2 children and our friends who had a separate room. The room was a great size for us with my 2 children (aged 10 & 17) sharing a double sofa bed in the separate lounge area. This gave us all a bit more space so didn’t feel quite on top of each other which you often can do when there are 4 of you in one hotel room.
Our bed has to be the comfiest hotel bed I’ve ever slept in and the room was cleaned excellently every day by the housekeeping team. My only negative would be the lack of drawers (there are none!) which means you do end up living out of your suitcase especially when there are 4 of you.

The WiFi is excellent & although we were on the 2nd floor we all had no problem accessing it & even around the pool too.

We initially stayed B&B and enjoyed our time eating out & enjoying the wonderful restaurants in Cala Bona/Cala Millor however for the last 3 nights of our holiday we upgraded to All Inclusive for an additional 18€50 per day each which represented great value as eating out was very expensive.

The food was excellent and varied & the drinks & cocktails were great too. Diego who worked in the bar was fab nothing was ever too much trouble for him,. However I could see if you were all inclusive for 2 weeks how the food could get very repetitive.

The restaurant was never very busy due to Covid & we never had a problem getting a table for 7 of us to eat together. Masks were worn around the restaurant area & there were lots of sanitising points. All in all people were very respectful.

The location is great with just a 2 minute walk to Cala Bona beach for a swim in their wonderful little bays or a 15min walk to the larger & livelier Cala Millor beach.

The staff at the hotel are fabulous & very helpful and will help you print out your passenger locator forms for your return travel. Nothing is too much trouble for them.

I would say this hotel is a quieter hotel so if you’re looking for a livelier hotel with more entertainment for all the family then this isn’t the hotel for you (try Globales Sa Coma) however we enjoyed the peacefulness, never having to worry about queuing for a sunbed and generally the ambient chilled out vibe. I doubt it is like that when it is at full capacity though?

We’ve all had a wonderful holiday & felt privileged to have the opportunity to travel this year with the pandemic. It was sad to see many hotels & bars not reopening and I hope that in 2022 more people, are able to travel and that tourism within this area begins to flourish again.

After booking our holiday with Jet 2 at another hotel, due to Covid-19 and some hotels being closed we were transferred to stay at Globales Cala Bona.

Overall a lovely stay. Rooms were very clean and spacious, although an extra bedroom was a waste when there were just the two of us travelling. Towels were changed daily and we loved the free face masks that were provided within the room. A perk was having the kettle and fridge but a shame that we only got one set of paper cups all week and no refill of coffee/tea. Bear in mind that tourist tax is charged on arrival (approx €30 for a week) and a safe was €32 with an additional compulsory deposit of €10 for the key which was refunded on departure.

Due to us travelling during the pandemic, there were less people around the pool and therefore enough room for us to grab a sun lounger but I would be concerned about travelling in a usual Summer holiday. As is normal in most hotels, a lot of people were attempting to reserve sun beds with towels from about 7.30am. I think the hotel should do more to stop this from happening as we saw numerous families and couples come to find room around the pool, to be faced with towels and belongings but no people actually using them.

I do not know how the hotel normally operate but when we travelled we found the hotel food was a mixed show. It looked visually appealing and tidy and staff serve food onto your plate. However, I am a vegetarian and for 5 nights had pasta and salad with little alternative. Chips were on every night. Due to many people staying all inclusive (we were half board), it was designed to suit them. For example, my partner went up for dinner and selected fish and potatoes and was served a very small portion! I understand some guests are wasteful with food but considering our board, this was something we felt needed improving. We ate out two nights due to it being limited.

Drinks in the hotel are very expensive for those not on all inclusive. After each meal in the hotel we went for a drink elsewhere due to it being more affordable and having more atmosphere. We recommend Stanley’s (amazing passion fruit daiquiri)!

Overall a positive stay but definitely would recommend this hotel to families rather than couples after a romantic getaway.

Best of luck to the hotel and local businesses during the pandemic!

Booked this day after the flights re-started once Majorca went on the "green list", so the hotel had only just re-opened. Hotel is spotlessly clean in the public areas and the rooms. The rooms have 2 rooms making them spacious if there's only two of you. Loved the fact the room had a fridge and kettle. Modern bathroom and excellent shower. We stayed on bed & breakfast only. Breakfast had loads of choice of hot & cold food, fruits and plenty of local dishes and breads. Enjoyed the local restaurants and bars which were so well priced so having all inclusive wouldn't interest us. Its a shame they don't offer snacks by the pool as those of us on B&B had to go out locally for a sandwich/salad for lunch when they could have made some money offering dishes that were already out for the all inclusive guests. Nice location close to shops, restaurants and Cala Bona marina. Hotel is more adult focused than families as there's nothing for kids other than a kids pool. It was a shame, the atmosphere was spoilt somewhat by a minority excess drinking (all inclusive guests), playing "boom boom" music and hogging the sunbeds with towels out early. I felt the hotel could have sorted this out. Such a lovely hotel, spoilt by a few inconsiderate guests. I'm not normally one for eating in "British owned" places, as I like to try local dishes but I have to mention, we discovered Janet & Johns in the harbour, and the food was awesome, with great choice of wines too. Well worth a visit.

I stayed in this hotel in mid July as a group adults, teenagers and a ten year old. On arrival the hotel is small but clean and check in was relatively straight forward with friendly staff. Unfortunately this is where things started to go downhill.

The bar area is three large sofas, which mean it can hold a maximum of 6/7 people the table space is limited for drinks and the sofas were sofa more for lazing on during the day. The only other area available at night was the snack bar area. This was like sitting in a cafe, there was no music and the entertainment on the two evenings was dire. Smoking was also permitted so was generally unpleasant.

The All Inclusive drinks were non existent unless you wanted to drink beer (only half pints no pints allowed) or not very nice wine. You could have vodka, white rum or gin although these could only be mixed with fizzy drinks, no fruit juice or orange and no spiced rum option. You could not get a straight spirit either in the All Inclusive package it was a long drink mixed with fizzy drinks only. The cocktails did not contain any spirits, fruit juice (even though you couldn't get it as a mixer) and liqueurs such as grenadine and were served from big jugs. I have never had an All Inclusive so restrictive. The bar manager was aggressive to younger members of staff and was temperamental to customers, he was regularly seen drinking behind the bar and on one occasion with guests he obviously knew.

The snack bar was also limited to burgers, chips and hotdogs, no toasties or anything remotely healthy.

You could generally get something to eat the few times we went to the buffet however one of our party struggled and opted to buy cereal for the room and put milk in the mini fridge only to be refused a bowl from the dining room!!  The dining room was spotless (although a few times we got dirty plates) howver there again was no background music and it was like a school canteen.

Bedrooms are basic but clean, the storage is limited given you can have 4 people in a room (one wardrobe and two shelves). My husband likes the air conditioning on so I requested extra blankets however I was advised this was not possible.

The pool was clean but if at full capacity sunbeds would be an issue. For the first week and a half we were there inflatables were not allowed in the pool however one Welsh Mother (thank you) insisted these be allowed. A little too late for our 10 year old but he had fun the last few days.

There were a few very good staff in particular  Diego and Savannah.

In my opinion this is more a three star half board accommodation more suited to adults than children. The short comings of this hotel were not evident in other establishments in the resort so we spent the majority of the time not in the hotel which is not what you expect from an All Inclusive Holiday and was not worth the four star resort fee.

Hotel simply beautiful, as a family of 3 we booked a last minute getaway as Majorca was added to the green list. We stayed half board for 7 nights.

On arrival reception staff were welcoming, there is a bright modern entrance which provided positive first impressions.

We chose to upgrade on arrival to a terrace suite and it was worth every penny as this allowed private space to enjoy the sunshine.

Rooms were spotless, with all the amenities needed for half board basis. The splendid service was a nice touch with daily top ups of water and soft drinks and delivery of fresh fruit.

Food was good with enough variety and staff work very hard to cater for everyone’s needs.

We had the most wonderful time, location of hotel suited us perfectly with a short walk to the harbour in Cala Bona and also into Cala Millor.

We would definitely recommend this hotel and hope to return again in the future.

Super clean, very friendly and helpful staff, excellent size room and the comfiest bed. Pool area very clean. Food very good for 4* AI in Balearics. Couldn’t fault the hotel considering what we paid. Would highly recommend. Going on holiday during the pandemic was a daunting thought but Globales Cala Bona was so clean and the staff were promoting social distancing where possible and mask wearing so felt very “safe”. The hotel was fairly quiet for the time of year but the staff were brilliant. It was very relaxing and chilled (“home away from home”). Reception called us the evening before check out knowing our flight was quite early and offered us an early breakfast which was plated when we came down early the following morning - an extra nice touch befitting of a lovely hotel.

There is a small beach nearby and only a short stroll to the small port / town with a few bars / restaurants by the sea. Again quiet due to the ongoing pandemic.

Rooms = 9/10
Pool = 10/10
Food = 9/10
AI drinks = 9/10 (good cocktail selection included and Diego made the strongest cocktails)
Cleanliness = 10/10
Location = 8/10
Beds = 10/10

Just returned from a lovely relaxed holiday despite covid. The rooms are a good size we stayed in family suite which had double beds in both rooms. Rooms a good size and were cleaned daily however under the bed was obviously missed as covered in dust only noticed as dropped something. On arrival the fridge was disgusting which was quickly sorted. The Air con is not very good but done the job. We stayed All inclusive which I wouldn’t do again as not a lot of choice of food 11 year old struggled to find food except chips and pasta so ended up eating out every night. Snack bar food is usual snack bar food however found it disgusting the lady serving was putting her fingers in the salt to sprinkle on the chips! Location is fantastic you are a minute to beach on Cala Bona and a further 5 mins to Cala Milker beach which is lovely. Loads of places to eat around. Most people where sticking to the mask wearing in hotel. Usual sunbeds have to be out for opening at 8 to get a bed. Would be a nightmare at full capacity. I wouldn’t return personally unless without children as would be very costly for drinks in hotel at self catering but without children would have found food every night although repetitive as you find a lot with all inclusive.

This wasn't our original choice of hotel but jet2 changed us and kindly upgraded us to all inclusive from half board so we were already winners.

The Hotel: in terms of the location it is excellent very close to the beach which is small but another one is further down and a 15 minute walk. Sunbeds currently cost 14 euros with an umbrella. The rooms here are very good and large with a seperate room very nice bathroom but the air con was a bit feeble in my opinion but free. The grounds were immaculate with pool and restaurant very clean. When we first arrived there was only 9 rooms occupied so food was not up to speed but they got into the swing of things as the week went on. I have read other reviews and because we went to the beach for the last few days may have missed the afternoon snacks as they were not existent for the first 5 days we were here.

The spirits were okay but the beer is not nice and dont have the Cava! The food was good but as with all buffets does become repetitive after 4 or 5 days so explored a few restaurants in the area as well as some bars. Not much was open though in the resort but that may change. There are some proper shops in Cala Milor selling nice clothes and things.

The staff were very helpful and polite. Sadly the worse thing about the hotel are the British who gradually filled up the hotel as the week went on. They started the towels on sunbeds at about 6:30 am and with one meat head turned on his bluetooth speaker and inflicted his music on all of us. That is why we went to the beach just down the road it was cooler and we could pop back for lunch but didn't have to suffer our fellow travellers.

As we didn't pay full whack it was very good but looking at the prices for a week later not sure it is worth the cost being quoted now.

On arrival, 2nd july 2021 hotel only re-opened 1st july, we were met by a very pleasant receptionist who booked us in very quickly, reception was bright and very clean

Our room was a "splendid" room with a "sitting" room, which to be fair was a bit of a waste for us, so used it as a dressing type room, very clean, i found the bed very comfy, memory foam i think, but we only had paper cups to make hot drinks with !!!! our fridge didn't always get filled up daily but was quickly remedied, when mentioned.

The poolside was again very clean, staff were very friendly and will stop to chat whenever you want, Lorrain very helpful and knowledgable, we were all inclusive so the drinks were as per local beer etc silvatore bar guy again very funny and helpful.

the restaurant meals again were as per in most hotels good choice, not for me, but my current wife liked it. breakfast had a good choice eggs sausage bacon beans etc, plus the usual continental stuff.

Snack bar opened after a few days of being there,for burgers and hotdogs, now the sunbeds..........usual towels on beds so early in the morning so we had to join em, they aren't the most comfortable maybe a sunbed mattress would be a fantastic addition All this said what a fantastic holiday, and would go back.

All covid guidelines were followed, all staff wore masks at all times, hand sanitiser all over.

we ate out a few times, smithys in the harbour is a great restaurant also stanleys on the front have great meals.

cala bona is still very quiet at the min but getting slowly busier, cala mellor is very busy.

Stayed with a friend for 5 days
nice size room, 2 separate rooms with double bed settee, cleaned every day, no draws we lived out of our cases. Pool view, decent size balcony.
Food was lovely, lots of variety, no allergen info on any of the dishes.
Pool was good size, quite a small hotel so was fine, indoor pool freezing could do with a clean but has a jacuzzi, it was a nice cold dip as weather was so hot.
Chloe and reception staff lovely and helpful.
Gym- one of the worst ever not fit for purpose machines don’t work! Bit of a waste of space.
No entertainment during day! Not a thing and one singer on Sunday night that was it. And no excuse that it’s because of Covid other hotels had entertainment, so you end up spending more money going out on an evening.
Miguel-think his name was older man, bit of a grump and not very friendly.
Sun loungers- doors open at 8 always a few people waiting to get beds, but was always enough loungers. Think more attention could be given to cleaning pool area.
Overall a good holiday not sure if £600 for 5 nights was worth it though.
