When we planned a trip round Puglia, we thought it wouldn’t be enough to come to Alberobello for a day. To feel the magic of this fairyland you have to stay in an authentic trullo. That is what the company offers – arched ceilings, beams together with air conditioners and all amenities. The best apartment I’ve stayed in! Very spacious, with a sitting zone where two bedrooms are separated by a wall with curtains to add privacy. The kitchen is very well-equipped, including separate plastic storage containers (never saw them, not even in Japanese hotels!). An additional door from the dining room opens onto a small private garden. What’s more, our trullo was in a quiet centre, kind of dead-end street. But what makes it charming are the details, furniture, just look at the pictures I attach. They offer breakfast in a separate building in the square, no luxury like fresh orange juice, but enough.
Minuses? The bathroom was a bit cool.
All in all, I highly recommend it! You feel like a hobbit or something, exploring this wonderful town and coming back to the comfort of your home.

Thank you very much, reading this commentary has made our day! Really, such a kind care to describe everything is hard to find and very welcome to greet! Yes, utmost care is given to every - even tiny - detail, as we want our guests to really enjoy the trullo as a holiday home and as a historic dwelling. This is a mission for us and the appreciation of our guests tells us we are on the right way. Hopefully you can come and enjoy again the magic of the trulli, all the best!

We found this to be a unique and excellent experience. Staying in the Trulli was unusual and cosy but comfortable. Service was good, parking is slightly confusing but worked out to get a free space on the street nearby. It is slightly annoying as a popular tourist visiting location so people are constantly taking photos on the doorstep etc. but it generally thins out after a while. Otherwise, breakfast was great, and the location was perfect.

Thank you very much, we are happy that you enjoyed staying in one of our trulli and that quibbles you mentioned did not spoil your holiday in a serious way. Being this a widespread hotel, we help guests in finding a location, where to park and in general we offer assistance for every need. Glad you enjoyed breakfast service, as well.

My first reaction on entering “my” trullo was “it’s so cute” and I instantly fell in love! I think it is probably the most unique and interesting “room” I have ever stayed in. To be in a real trullo is a great way to experience history, but equally they have been beautifully brought right up to date. Mine had the original cooking area/fireplace left as a decorative feature in the bedroom area, but with modern central heating as such a contrast.
The bathroom was superb - modern and roomy with an excellent dual handheld/waterfall shower. A sofa area, fridge and desk completed my trullo’s interior - from the rest of my group I gather that they are all different so each will be a unique experience in terms of layout and facilities. But we all agreed on the comfort and warmth at a chilly start to Spring.
Staying in the quieter, less touristic, side of the main road is a bonus, and our tour package included a lovely breakfast at a cafe around the corner. It’s a pleasure to walk around in the evening when the day trippers have left and you have a chance to experience the great atmosphere with more peace, especially in low season as we were.
A true highlight of my stay in Puglia.

Dear guest, you are right: sleeping in a trullo is an all-encompassing experience. Each element of a trullo, if authentic, brings the mind back to the old days, when those objects were regularly used. We ourselves often imagine how life went on inside them in the Rione Aia Piccola which is the one where you stayed. We are committed to making those spaces suitable for modern life, so we use the traditional renovation method but we pay attention to every comfort. We are happy that you enjoyed it. Greetings from Alberobello.

We were on a cycling tour of Puglia so had to find accommodation where we could safely store our bicycles and were able to do this at Holiday Albergo who kindly stored the bikes in their office overnight. They also assisted us with receiving and storing our luggage which was dropped off and collected by taxi the following day. We greatly appreciated the help we were given in coordinating this from the friendly staff.

The Trulli’s are located in different streets within the same historic quarter a short walk from the company’s office in the square. Each appears to be uniquely decorated. Our Trullo was on a corner of a small cul-de-sac and a road. There was no road noise however a large tour group stopped right outside and stayed for some time which was a bit of an intrusion.

The Trullo was quaint and clean and with a small patio area at the rear with a table and chairs and a hot tub which was covered over so we assumed out of use. The décor was charming although a bit rustic for us. There was a small kitchenette which was more decorative than practical as there did not appear to be sufficient cooking and dining equipment supplied, which was not a problem for us but may be for some staying for a longer period. The bathroom was very small and the space inside the shower tight. The room was quite dark although it was to be expected given the shape of the Trulli’s.

Breakfast was served in the Cosi Com’era café in the square around the corner from the company’s office. The Trulli guests receive a basic breakfast selection including juice, coffee, yoghurt and pastries. It is not self-service so you have to select from the counter and they bring it to the table.

Check out was polite and efficient. These are not luxury properties; what they do offer is unique rustic 3* accommodation in charming historic buildings. It was nice for one night but probably not for an extended stay.

Great location, great attention to detail, very beautiful trulli and the cherry on top, the hot tub. Highly recommended if you ever want to visit Alberobello for a few days. You can walk the whole place from the Trulli by foot and if you go by car there is parking also available at the location

Awesome experience in the wonderful village of Alberobello. We felt very comfortable and the jacuzzi made our experience even better. The breakfast was wonderful. I definitely recommend this property.

One suggestion, though … pls equip the trulli with normal glasses made of glass, not of plastic. Nobody likes to drink champagne or wine in plastic.

Good morning and thank you very much for this review. We are very happy to have welcomed you in our widespread hotel. We thank you also for the suggestion; the reason why we don't supply glasses is both hygienic and organizational. We prefer to supply them, on request, sanitized and in a special bag. If our guests bring wine, champagne or any other drink to the trullo, we are always available at the reception, so just a call and we will arrive with what is requested. Greetings from Alberobello.

We had booked 9 rooms with the Hotel and each of them were unique and had all the modern amenities whilst still living in the Trulli homes. Fantastic Location and Super breakfast.
The only one thing that I feel was lacking was the absence of your basic tea, coffee Creamer which I feel they should have given.

Dear guests, we are very happy to have welcomed you here in Alberobello. Original trulli (World Heritage Site) are really unique monuments. We are sorry for the absence of coffee or tea you mentioned. We no longer make them available to guests for hygienic and wasteful reasons. Greetings from the team.

It is fascinating to be staying in one of these old stone houses and unbelievable how nice the restoration has been carried out. The light (except for the bathroom) is perfectly arranged.
The area is naturally protected from most traffic.

Good morning and thank you for this review. We are committed to renovating the trulli with the utmost respect for the traditional method in order to offer an authentic experience, as you yourself have written. The area where our trulli are located is limited to traffic because it is one of the "historic centers" (in this case the most authentic) of the Trulli capital. Greetings from Alberobello.
