The carpet had stains, which probably cannot be fixed so quickly, a carpet with long fibers is not necessarily practical in a hotel. The shower was not properly cleaned inside (inside of the doors at the joints is yellow, lime stains on the fittings).
The breakfast and also the parking is extra to pay, there is still a decent amount added on departure - I would pay closer attention next time. You can't park your car anywhere else but in this parking lot.
Breakfast is manageable, it's basically all there, but the quality is not great. There is no fresh fruit whatsoever, only 3 types of canned fruit.
For the 3 nights it was OK, the proximity to Legoland is great.
The breakfast that is offered is overpriced. Even small children pay full price.
The location near the motorway makes it ideal for a one-night stay.
The hotel is right at the motorway exit and only a 5-minute drive from Legoland. Nevertheless, it was quiet and you can't hear any noise.
Considering the 2 extra beds, the rooms were sufficiently large, "simple" in a positive sense, a chic WiFi solution and enough parking spaces in front of the house (5 euros / night as of 2024-05)
The beds were more hard than soft but we all slept very well.
The breakfast buffet was "compact" in terms of space but it really offered us everything we expected from a breakfast and everything was always replenished and there was therefore always plenty of everything.
The breakfast room was a bit louder than usual because there were a lot of families with children and we were eating at around 8:00 a.m. and basically at rush hour, but since we were there with children ourselves, that didn't bother us.
The staff were attentive and friendly. We found the price/performance ratio to be very good and can only recommend the hotel.
One simple example, the hotel does not have a dinner service, so we ordered delivery and picked a table close to the window to have dinner. A few minutes later, the receptionist comes and warns us that the table was set for breakfast the following day. No sign, no separator to inform guests, just a rude warning. And by the way, they do not turn on the lights in the remainder of the dining area, so a windowless table is a dark table. Next day, the coffee machine is turned on. No pricing information or no warning that it is for breakfast only. I have stayed in many hotels where coffee is complimentary. So I thought it was. I got the coffee, but the staff again warns me to say it is for breakfast only and tries to charge my room (we will see if they charge me, and how much). I observed that this happened a few times with other guests as well.
Bathroom is perfect, enough towels.
Accomodation : Spacious, simple and clean.
Use your car to go to the park, unless the bus is working. On foot, it is pretty far but 5' by car.
Breakfast too expensive, but shell gas station down the hotel, perfect for a bretzel.
Minus: Check-in/registering process seems to be very manual. The front desk employee gave us a room and when we open the door there was already a couple inside. Unfortunately we violated their intimacy and of course they were not happy and were shouting at us. We came back to reception and as we reported what happened, the front desk employee takes a book (!) not a computer to check the available rooms.
Other than that hiccup, I would consider going back to this hotel for a quick overnight near Legoland, based on its price, location and size/cleanness of the room.
"Rooms facing the highway are a bit noisy, the hotel nor the rooms have an AC I guess (very hot inside during the hot summer days)."Read full review
"There is no A/C in the rooms so a room to the south side will give better ventilation and less noise."Read full review
