The Hotel Hirsch is very centrally located. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. The family room is very large and well laid out. The breakfast buffet is also well stocked. We felt very comfortable and would happily return! As the temperature was almost zero degrees again, the staff had turned the radiators back on beforehand so that the room was nice and warm when we arrived. Simply GREAT!

We stayed at this hotel in a family room (quadruple) when visiting Legoland Deutschland in Gunzburg . Only positive impressions! Nicely designed and spacy room, central and convenient location in the very town centre on Marktplatz, own parking free of charge, rich and tasty breakfast - everything added value to our satisfaction. Owners of the Hotel - Mr. and Mrs. Weber - are nice and responsive to any guest request. Lots of genuine bavarian bars and restaurants around also will not leave you indifferent.

Definitely, it is best value for money choice if you decide to spend several days in Gunzburg.

This hotel is a lot larger than you would expect from the side entrance and we had a long walk to our top floor room at the end of the hotel. However, it was worth the walk and we had a very nice, quiet, large room with a large bathroom and a view from the windows. Its a great location just off the main street and locked storage was provided for our bicycles.
The young family who runs the hotel were very friendly and accommodating. The buffet breakfast is excellent and provided in a very large, light and airy breakfast area.
Overall we had a great stay.

Perfect hotel for a family stay. We stayed here two nights to visit legoland. Family oriented with big rooms and toys in the lodging. Great breakfast and parking available. They also run a restaurant (de munz) local specialties tasty and not expensive.

We needed a room for 5 people (3 adults and 2 kids) and these are not easy to find. This hotel provided us with a room for 7!!! Moreover, the room was clean, the bathroom was huge and the price was very reasonable. Parking was very limited and breakfast was sub-standard (this is why I did not award 5 stars).

We loved our stay here, we had a spacious room overlooking the main pedestrianised street. The staff are terrific, and when we left a book behind they posted it back to us. That's care! we really appreciated it. Very good breakfast in nice airy room. The bike storage is excellent, Gunzburg is a lovely town to visit. We had our own bikes, but it was a pleasant surprise to see the local tourist office had bikes for hire at very reasonable rates. There is no lift, so be prepared to hike up the stairs.

We stayed for one night on our way to Croatia. We got a big comfortable room for 4. Our dog was welcome. The breakfast was very OK for only €5 pp. The staff was very friendly and helpful.
Only negative point was that there was no parking space free near the hotel even though the booking site indicated that it was not necessary to reserve one.

My reservation was made via email and no credit card detail was required to secure booking. When arrived, I was welcomed nicely.

We told the front office, we would need the room until midnight (stayed few hours) before taking the midnight train. Everything in the room was fine and working condition.

There are nearby restaurant and about 800 -900 metres to train station.

This hotel has large rooms for big families, looks more like apartment.
The parking is mostly full so it better to park in the peatonal it free to park evening until 0900.
If it's couples I wouldn't recommend, it's more like sleeping solution.
The guys who handle is very nice.

Firstly, thank Weber Family for keeping replying me email as our plan might be changed unwillingly due to the flight delay in the morning. The delay followed by the uncertainty about afternoon flight and evening trains, as well as the lost journey before arriving Günzburg. Unfortunately, I could not type German so I used English in emails. By the end of that day, no reply from train company and the desired restaurant. However, this hotel kept the communication on even though English is not their first language (the texts looked generated by translation tool). They were honest to remind me that I could cancel the room for free before 6pm. That made me felt warm and secured.

The maps did not tell us that there were some slopes with little amount of street lights on the roads. The walk with heavy baggages acted liked adventure. Although there was dark I could feel the cool air, it's refreshing. Room key with welcoming letter left at the front desk as we arrived late. The bed was so comfortable, but we have to use the "natural air cooler" as the room had neither air conditioner nor fan. Besides, we had to walk carefully and speak softly as the floor and the wall sounds not solid enough.

Secondly, the food was fresh and nutritious in the small bar. The buffet provided various muesli, fresh breads and fruits, ham and cheese slices, as well as juices and tea packs. Also, I have some fried eggs, hot cakes and honey for my breakfast. The style choice may be limited to some people, but I love all of them! The weather was dry in the first morning so I consumed some quantity of fruit. By the next morning, I was surprised at more fruit served in the breakfast buffet. That made me felt cared.

The view from room window was colourful and poetic, whenever day or night outside. Overall, I enjoyed this stay!

Room Tip: Higher floors need more steps but more safe, as the floor sounded thin.
