Detailed Reviews
This Mas is beautiful as are the gardens. Our room was comfortable and the breakfasts were good and plentiful although I would have expected fresh fruit in this part of Provence. Additionally the 'road ' to the property is an extremely bumpy unmade road.
My grumble is with the lack of a warm welcome from the owner, Bernice. She seemed surprised to see us even though we had been in contact with her husband several times during the day to update on our arrival time. Even though she knew we'd been driving for hours no drink was offered as a welcome. Instead, exhausted, we were shown around the garden. Also at breakfast we got the sense that we were required to eat and go. I could certainly pick up their impatience when we tarried for a while to speak to other British tourists staying at the property. That felt uncomfortable.
In an effort to be balanced my partner was graciously helped by the other owner, Marc, when he experienced problems with our car tyre.
On balance I would not return because of the reasons stated which is a shame because it is a lovely, beautifully restored house and garden.
