Stayed here for 3 nights and although it is quirky and has potential unfortunately it has been left to rack and ruin. Weeds growing everywhere, none of the solar lights working, fences falling apart. Also be very careful of the swing very unstable and dangerous. Wouldn't stay here again.
I read caravans had been lovingly restored! !!!! From the outside it was rusty and large patches where paint was peeling..Inside it smelt musty. Curtains were attached with drawing pins, where they weren't torn, also they didn't cover the windows and you could see through. All the furniture was rusty or in bad state of repair. The bathroom was clean but had nowhere to hang towels the curtain was very thin. You couldn't leave anything in there as there was no way to lock the door. The bins had not been emptied from the previous guests. The light that was given to us to walk to the bathroom was given to someone else without us knowing. Food was left out in the open air kitchen from. Breakfast, the fruit juice was then brought out the following day!! No toiletries, water, wine or cookies as described. . Also no wardrobe or anywhere to hang clothes. There is no on site parking but outside in the lane. I would definitely not stay here again, such a shame as for some effort it could be different VERY OVERPRICED…
So bad we only stayed for 45 mins! Caravan was musty & the sheets were dirty & still had hairs on them from the previous occupants! We thought it looked at bit dodgy from the photos & only one review to be found on the whole of Google! Should have listened to our instincts! But we booked via booking.com & lost £74... rather lose the money than stay there though!
This is a new venture with 3 old caravans restored and a nice new bathroom block and an area for breakfast. It is quirky and fun and while not for everyone we loved it. Excellent breakfasts. The bathrooms are not directly attached to the caravans but are clean with lots of hot water and towels. We were the second group of guests
