Guests love the convenience of being able to drive up to their room with a golf cart to pick up or drop off their clubs, or being able to walk out the front door to enjoy scenic mountain views while sitting around the swimming pool. Park your vehicle when you arrive because once at Shenvalee you will have no reason to leave. Rooms are split equally between golf-side and poolside views, so choose your preference. Miller Grille, a sports bar and restaurant opens at 7:30 AM everyday and has a variety of delicious foods to choose from until late every night. Motel amenities include access to the golf course, putting green and driving range, seasonal swimming pool, free Wi-Fi, flat screen TVs with cable, mini style refrigerators and hair dryers. Great place to stay for golfers. The rooms are motel style where your door opens to outside. It’s been decades since staying at a motel. The room amenities are very basic; the furniture is dated, and a series of the rooms face the golf course. If you’re on the first floor you can drive a golf cart to your room. Other rooms face the outdoor pool. A restaurant is on the premises. We had two double beds but could have used a king or queen. Staff is very nice. We couldn’t determine if Covid protocols were followed, except that housekeeping isn’t done daily. The room was clean. The location is a good weekend getaway drive from the DMV, very close to Luray and minutes from downtown Harrisonburg. Would go again.

Our girl group spent a wonderful 3 day return trip this week. We come twice a year and absolutely LOVE it here. Rooms are clean, recently updated with great comfortable beds. Due to Covid, rooms are not cleaned on a daily basis, but you can request them to clean your room. We respect their consideration to keep us safe and healthy. The best thing here is not having to drive somewhere to find a place to eat. Miller Grille has great food and drinks. Park, unload, and stay right there for your visit. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming. Special shoutout to Joyce, our favorite waitress, and Ranger Dave. He was a highlight of our golf days! Many upgrades to the course and motel since last year, and they aren't done yet! Thank you all for a really special 3 days! Will highly recommend you to everyone!

The website states only service animals; no pets or emotional support animals allowed. This info is as of 13 MAR 21. Looks like a nice place otherwise. The gallery had some nice photos and the information was easy to find.

Our couples group goes every Spring for 3 days. Once again our stay was a great experience. Rooms were clean, neat and comfortable. Miller Grille was open to a full menu and the food was as expected, especially the breakfast buffet. Everyone at Shenvalee are always very friendly and helpful. If you needed anything, they were there to help. The best thing about this resort is you never have to get in your car and drive. Everything is right there and convenient. All three courses are a cart ride to get to and Miller Grille and the Pro Shop are next door. It's a win win all around! Our girl group will be returning once again in the Fall for our annual 3 day trip. Thank you Shenvalee Golf Resort!

Large outdoor pool open sunrise to sunset. Spacious rooms on street level with powerful ac, on-site restaurant with good food- burgers, sandwiches, southern fried chicken serving breakfast, lunch and dinner. We don’t golf but great place to stay!

Impressed! Very neat, updated, clean and very nice rooms. Service was perfection. Restaurant served incredibly great food.......Hostess and server went above and beyond. Gorgeous setting in the Mountains. Friendly accomodating employees, I shall stay there again and again......Thank you all for your generosity, and complete attention, and service. I certainly would recommend for families/travelers.....wonderful!

The picture on Expedia gives the impression of an impressive building housing rooms at a golf resort. It is far from that. The golf course and club are nice. People that work in reception and the restaurant friendly and polite. Food was very good as was the restaurant service. The rooms are in need of tlc They are motel rooms. The poolside is not what you think! It provokes a thought in a resort of trees and nice chairs! Not that! The best rooms are overlooking the mountain out back. They are clean but getting tired and worn! One night ok but not a resort to stay at by any means.

Our group of guys come here every year for our annual four day golf outing. The Golf is great. Rooms are what others say, just a motel type of room. Our rooms though face the golf course and the scenic views of the mountains are breathtaking. The rooms are fine, clean and have been updated about two years ago. For a group of guys the rooms were fine, a place to sleep, shower etc.
Once there, there really isn’t a reason to go anywhere else. Everything is at the resort. Miller Grill is a fine to place to eat breakfast, lunch and dinner. Although we do eat at a great Mexican place a mile down the road, one night per our stay.

100% happy here! Lots of improvements done, and more coming. Always the nicest, friendliest staff to work with. Newly renovated rooms, clean and neat. Come in, play a round of golf, go back to your room, relax, then walk to Miller Grille and enjoy a menu of good food and drinks. Delicious breakfast included with your room too!! And don't forget to visit the Pro Shop. No need to move your car until you're ready to head home. It's all in one spot! Highly recommend this resort! We do 2 trips a year! Try it for yourself!

Old, tired and reeks of musty/moldy smell. Honestly, I cannot imagine this getting a 4 star review unless you want to stay in a men’s dorm to play golf. Room was so musty it even had a dehumidifier. Men smoking cigars in most outdoor areas - including outside front door of the rooms.
