Detailed Reviews
This elegant B&B, which has four bedrooms, is situated on 55 acres of beautiful mountain land in the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia.
It's open year round, with nearby skiing in the winter and nearby golf in the spring and summer.
The rooms are spacious and beautiful. We had a soaking tub with a big picture window and view of the mountains. Perfect! I enjoyed a long, leisurely bath every day.
We stay in a lot of B&Bs but none has ever had a game room such as the one here. It has a pool table, card table and large screen TV. So much fun!
As painters, it was a treat to walk down a slope and find a picnic table where we could set up a little studio to paint right there on the property.
Breakfast every day was a treat, with a varied and exciting menu.
The Youngs are very attentive hosts. Their daughter, an IT expert, even tried to help me get my computer back on track via a phone consultation. They bent over backward to offer us special services.
It's really quiet and private.
Nearby (but you need a car to get there) is the Bryse Resort, with an excellent golf course. Would you believe the Youngs even lent us golf clubs so we could play! Of course, you need a car to get to the B&B anyway.
I think Young Manor would be ideal for a wedding party. I wish my son was getting married so we could go back.

This place is amazing with all the southern hospitality you can expect from the wonder Diane and Stan. The rooms are amazing and really make you feel at home. The location of the house is perfect to the local ski resort, wineries, and trails. If you are ever in the area, book this place. - Carlos & Kate. 2014

We just returned from a quick stay at this lovely B & B. Where do I start? We’ve stayed at several B & B’s in VA and there is no comparison. We arrived around 5 to the smell of chili cooking and fresh brownies. We were exhausted from our 4 hour drive and wine tasting. We immediately were shown our room and given a tour of their home. The location is perfect! The rooms are all nice but the master suite is unbelievable. The bathroom has a great tub with views like no other. The owners are incredibly nice and very welcoming. The next day we were shown around their lot and greeted by a beautiful snow shower. When we left we booked for NYE and are planning our 10 your anniversary/renewing vow ceremony. You must stay here...

We stayed at Young Manor this past weekend in connection with a ski/snowboard trip at Bryce Resort. We were very impressed with Young Manor. We are young professionals and both travel for work. Tired of sterile hotels, we sought out Young Manor for its beautiful location and "at home" atmosphere. It definitely did not disappoint!
The manor is absolutely beautiful and located on an impressive estate including stunning mountain views. With vast acreage, guests can hike and walk along the property to admire the scenery and gardens. Young Manor is a short 5 minutes from Bryce Resort, and is extremely convenient in that respect, but would also be perfect for a serene getaway even if you aren't participating in Bryce's activities.
The hosts, Stan and Diane, were welcoming and attentive, and made us feel at home instantly. Diane is an excellent cook and prepared us a delicious hot and cold breakfast each morning. She also had an array of snacks and drinks available for us all day and night. We were especially impressed with the bacon from the local country store that Diane prepared (we even brought some home with us)! For anyone with dietary restrictions (or anyone who doesn't like bacon as much as we do), Diane was very accommodating with the menu and could easily accommodate your dietary preferences and needs!
The rooms are clean, comfortable, and beautifully decorated. We stayed in the master suite, and were extremely glad we did as we were able to use the deep soaking tub in the suite after hitting the slopes all day. Bubble bath and bath salts were ready and waiting to help us relax.
Young Manor is a great value for your money, offering much more than local hotels for around the same cost! By the time we left, we felt like family. It doesn't get any better than Young Manor!

+1
The house is elegant from the architecture to all the marvelous furniture you will find around in all the different rooms. The living room is a has a two story cathedral ceiling and a huge field stone fireplace, that on cold winter night would be nice to sit in front of and enjoy a great mug of hot chocolate. When you go there and go up their driveway take the first right and approach the inn using the dramatic circular drive.
Young Manor is quiet retreat from the hectic pace we all seem to live. the rooms and bathroom immaculate and spotless. the innkeepers make you feel right at home and serve a made to order breakfast according to your taste they even have a family rec-room complete with a full sizes pool table. If I travel back that way I will make a point to stay there again

Young Manor is an amazing estate, the pictures on the site gives only a glimpse of this amazing property. The grounds are well manicured, the room we stayed in was very well decorated with a personal touches and provided us with an amazing view of the mountains, and our bed was super comfortable which is needed when you need to rest. The estate is close to a lot things to enjoy if you are looking to relax and enjoy a couple of days of r&r. Bryce resort is about 5 minutes from estate and several wineries including Kindred winery is about 15 miles away.
My wife and I stayed for our anniversary and from the time of our arrival to our departure we were provided with First Class service and we will always remember our stay at Young Manor. Thank you for providing us with excellent service and a peaceful retreat. Diane is an awesome cook. Thank you for the recipes.

My husband and I decided last minute to go skiing for the weekend and hopefully stay over. As luck would have it, Young Manor Bed & Breakfast had availability. Diane and Stan Young are fantastic hosts who immediately made us feel welcome. After we settled into our room with magnificent mountain views, Stan led us to Bryce Mountain Resort, a mere 5 minutes away. When we returned we sat around and chatted, then we slept deeply and comfortably in a cozy queen suite with private full bath. The next morning, Diane had a delicious breakfast for us. By the time we left, we felt like old friends! We can't wait to return and bring our friends with us!

Stayed at Young Manor for the first time. Bryce Ski & Golf Resort very close by (< 5 mins). Young Manor delivers. The house is beautiful. We stayed in the master suite. The oversize shower and deep soaking tub were just what we needed to relax after a busy day. Diane the owner and hostess was very attentive. Breakfast was advertised as continental but given the weather was cold, Dianne prepared a wonderful hot & cold breakfast spread both mornings of our stay. We plan to return in the future. We had an amazing time.

My family stayed at Young Manor during a recent visit to Mt Jackson for a wedding weekend. The house is impeccably clean and inviting. Diane is a lovely host and has focused on all the details from the wonderful bathroom lotions, soaps, shampoos etc to the chocolate and water bottles in your room. It is the PERFECT home for couples traveling together. There are 3 large bedrooms with bathrooms upstairs and a 4th bedroom downstairs should your group need an extra. The home is huge and the decks in the front and back are very inviting. The property is huge as well and just beautiful. We watched incredible sunrises over the trees from our bed each morning. We have stayed in many upscale B&B’s in our travels and Young Manor is up there at the top. Beautiful home with incredible attention to detail. Should your travels take you this way, I would highly recommend Young Manor!

Had a great stay at Young Manor. We stayed in the master bedroom which has a great bathtub.
Beautiful room in an amazing location very close to Bryce Resort. Diane is very friendly and genuinely did her best to make our stay better.
Hot, fresh breakfast in the morning. Bottles of water. And an amazing rec room where we played pool and poker. Fantastic view of the stars at night.
We'll definitely visit again when we're back skiing at Bryce next winter.
