If you're looking for a great B&B in Shenandoah Valley hosted by two wonderful hosts, check into the Edinburg Renaissance B&B run by Bill and Donna Smith. We were treated as much like family as their guests. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. Whether you sit on the front porch, out back in the garden, or inside the library, parlor, living room you will feel right at home. Bill and Donna served us an excellent breakfast each morning. Best of all, they told us the best places to visit in Shenandoah Valley and we took them up on every idea. This is a house (and the town) with lots of history and stories. They are experienced hosts giving their guests time to be alone, but if you need something they are very responsive. Our room had a nice kitchenette with fridge and microwave. Extra bonus points for the little balcony that allowed us to enjoy our coffee in the morning. Great location--near Skyline Drive, wineries, museums, shopping. We will be returning to this great B&B.

This was one of our stops on a five day road trip. Bill and Donna are the most gracious hosts. Donna gave us a "historical tour" of the B&M. They also recommended one of the best restuarants we have eaten at in a really long time. It was the Italian place just down the road. When you first arrive, dont be confused. The entrance to the B&B is up the stairs to the left of the front of the building. You will find wine in the fridge, brownies on the stove and in the morning a great breakfast. Hope we get a chance to return.

Our group of 5 stayed overnight to attend our son's graduation from James Madison University. The B&B is 1/2 hr away from the school, easily accessible from the highway, and we were able to attend the morning graduation without any problem. Bill and Donna were gracious and attentive hosts. Our breakfast in the morning was fantastic (Belgian waffles, fruit, coffee, juices, and more). We used three of the rooms, and each one was well furnished with large, comfortable beds and plenty of space to put luggage, clothing and toiletries. We all very much enjoyed our stay and hope to visit again when we have more time.

What a perfect stay! Bill and Donna Smith, the owners of the B and B, made us feel so welcome. They greeted us with a glass of wine after which we enjoyed sitting on the front porch overlooking Main Street. After a lovely evening in the Rose Room we were overwhelmed with the hearty and tasty breakfast at the beautifully set table in the dining room. They gave us so much helpful information about how to spend our day and we felt more like we were visiting friends than renting a room. The town is charming and we will definitely be planning a return trip.

This Bed and Breakfast is one of the more fun places I've ever stayed. Even though it is in a historic house, it has a comfortable and homey atmosphere that makes you want to relax in the TV room and talk to the other guests. Thoughtful details like the night lights (the innkeeper explained that she always feels disoriented when she wakes up in the middle of the night in a new place and she wanted her guests to be able to find their way around in the dark) show that the innkeepers really care about their guests. Breakfast was good, too. We can't wait to come back!

Everything we read in the reviews was true and more. We felt like family within minutes of meeting Donna and Bill, and they were a wealth of knowledge about Edinburg and the surrounding area. The home is beautiful inside, and the rooms beautiful as well. Ours was so comfortable with a nice view. Parking was behind the home, so you didn't have to park on the street. The library was a nice added feature. Honestly, I'm not exactly sure what they could have improved upon. And you are walking distance to the rest of Edinburg. This place hit the spot for us. This was a wonderful B&B experience.

Awesome hosts who went above and beyond to make our stay wonderful! Great room with a wonderful porch, yummy breakfast and fantastic conversation with Bill and Donna. Bed and breakfast was in a great location to visit caverns, indulge in great food, go hiking and visit wineries. Hope to visit again soon!

Wonderful people. We stop every year... just far enough off I-81 to be quiet. You can walk to nearby Italian resteraunt. Always a great breakfast. Good people. You'll be comfortable here. They are always willing to give great local travel advice and compare tips and hints. Big bathrooms. Very safe.. We recommend it.

My friend and I stopped there on a multi-day bicycle trip in the Shenandoah Valley. We were extremely pleased. Bill drove us to Woodstock to get dinner (then picked us an hour or so later). He then drive us around the area showing us many sights of interest. The B&B itself had lots of interesting antiques and books to look at. Excellent breakfast too! All in all, I would recommend it highly.

Magnolia room has a king size (where we stayed). Can't vouch for the rest of the rooms but the website states all 4 rooms have king size, you can check it out (sorry, can't paste a link here). You'll love it!
