Detailed Reviews
The property itself is a bit dated, with an old tube type tv in the bedroom and in need of renovation overall, but everything worked and was clean and spacious. Only queen beds, no kings so a bit cramped for most couples used to kings and really could use a fan upstairs in the duplex. The location was good and the lake was a delight to walk around although a bit polluted because of an abundance of Canadian geese.

After reading the reviews we were pleasantly surprised at how nice these townhomes were. We stayed in 101A. When we walked in we noticed the place was clean, well stocked, and quiet. It had new furniture and the kitchen has all the utensils you would need for a week away. It also had a washer and dryer that was not listed in the other reviews. We had two full bedrooms with a shower downstairs and a whirlpool tub upstairs. The only downside is the steps. They are short and you will need to take caution using them. The area was nice and the people were very friendly! We never had an issue with smelly or brown water. I would return again.

The place was clean and spacious, and everything was in good working order. The bedding was good quality with beautiful views of the woods. We really enjoyed the wood stove and the sauna. The decor is dated but overall was in good shape. We didn't care that there was an old TV from the nineties because we weren't there to watch TV. The nearest grocery store is twelve miles away down a very winding road so I would recommend doing your shopping during the day and stocking up the refrigerator. We had a few stormy days and stayed by the fire, cooked great meals, and played games. You really don't need to bring anything extra because the place had everything you'd need for a week stay. It was a wonderful experience, and we will definitely go back.

First the good. The unit was clean, large, had a beautiful view, and the beds were firm. The golf course was exceptionally well manicured. The kitchen had all we needed. In May, activities are limited to golf, mountain biking and a nice trail around Lake Laura. The water was undrinkable, (well water with a strong taste and smell), so bring bottled water if you stay. The a/c handler was in a bedroom and was very loud when using the heat, resulting in the poor sleep quality rating. We would return for the golf but would not stay at Senedo Springs primarily due to the faucet water.

I will preface this by saying, this was over July 4th weekend, so the staff was not available for valid reasons.
First, I was on this trip with my family: my wife, two boys (21&12) and me. There was ONE bathroom with a shower in the unit. You have no idea how inconvenient that can be.
Next, the mattresses on the beds must have fossilized sometime ago, because I have slept on the ground and had a softer experience.
Last, and not least, we were out in the woods, so I get it, there are bugs. I even expect it - flies, spiders, etc. I was fine with the idea. However, what I was disappointed about was the lack of cleanup in the unit before we arrived. They must have just sprayed, because there were dead insects all over the unit. Someone tried to clean up, because there was a pile of dead flies in the corner of the kitchen, under the broom next to the dustpan. No one picked it up, but it looks like they started the process.
The view was very nice, it was quiet and we had fun on the lake. The problem was, the AC unit failed on the second day. Did I mention it was 4th of July weekend? We made it 4 days, and then we had to move on - too hot, too sweaty.
Anyway, if you want a rustic, live in the woods feel, this place would not be bad - if they clean it up and you are by yourself.

+1
Duplex type (1 BR with loft) located a mile from the office. No bad smell water issue here unless you get the Condo type (I was told) located farther away from the main road. The unit itself is dated but nice and cozy. If you don't mind bugs, you'll have good company but not enough to make you cringed. You get a personal sauna which is a plus. A nice view of the forest. My unit had a small TV (13"?) in the loft, good size in the LR, and none in the BR. Cable is provided. Good size kitchen. One of the doors to cover the furnace and W/D is missing (told the office but was not too concerned to correct it).
No internet/wi-fi included. A big thing if you need it during your vacation. They have a limited Verizon LTE router for rent ($25/week) first come first serve that gives you less than 1Mbps. If you have Tmobile, there is no service there. Why no internet amenity, too expensive was the answer.
Free pass for the Lake Laura Beach area is provided first come first serve. There is no in-house restaurant, no swimming pool, no fitness center as indicated on the website amenities. You have to pay a daily fee.

Review of 2 bedroom unit at Senedo Springs, water is from a well and stains and odor are ever present. take your drinking water with you, water pressure is almost nil and taking a shower is a challege. The road up to the condo is very primitive paved and you bounce all the way and back and you go about daily activities. Parking lot is gravel and parking lot is tight at best.

Very out dated place, not real clean at all. Felt like we had to clean the whole place down before we prepared anything in the kitchen area. Water was very discolored in kitchen and bathrooms. We kept water for drinking in a glass container and in just a few days the glass jugs was yellow. Had to get gallon jug water from store to drink the rest of the week.

Immediately had to remove a star for the fact that there is no internet. Otherwise, the unit is quite nice with comfortable beds. Firewood is provided, a big plus. Views were nice, but filtered by leaves. Would be great in the winter. A few minor things like refrigerator bulb and dishwasher problem, but the main reason for losing a second star is the awful smell of the water Water like that needs to be filtered before coming out of the taps even if it is technically drinkable. So if you don't need internet or can get by with LTE and buy water it is an excellent choice.

Terry in the office was wonderful and helpful.
The unit was on the lower floor, a walk-out basement unit. Nice sized with comfortable sofa, chairs, beds. Nice view from the large outdoor patio. Spotless.
Downsides: Everything was VERY DATED--furnishings, all appliances, kitchenware, decoration, carpeting. You name it, it was old. Plus, the formica countertop near the stove had burns on it, and the refrigerator had a lot of rust on one side.
Not aesthetically pleasing, but it all worked.
The unit stank of mildew. All our clothes ended up smelling of mildew.
The water was horribly RUSTY. We had to buy bottled water for drinking and cooking.
When we arrived, the toilet water was bright blue from some product. Once that blue was flushed away, the brown rusty water was very evident.
Pets are allowed in the units, so the unit next to us had 3 large dogs. Not sure if it was those dogs who carried the fleas or other pets who stayed in the unit before us, but we ended up getting over 20 flea bites along with the few mosquitoes. The resort can't control the mosquito bites and those itched for only a brief time, but the flea bites are a different story. It's been a week and my strong reaction to the flea bites is still continuing in spite of medication.
We loved the area, Lake Laura, and the view from the unit, but it fell far short of the standard of all the many other RCI units we've stayed in.

No Wi-Fi. If you are able to use your cell phone as a hot spot that will work, but your data will quickly be consumed.
There is Wi-Fi at the rental office as well as the library nearby. Several times I had simply sat in the parking lot of the library to connect.
