Detailed Reviews
We enjoyed our stay. We were concerned that our car needed to be valet parked, however, the valets were very attentive and it was quick to get our car should we need it. We liked the heated ski storage slope-side. We have race skis and the attendants were very helpful insuring our skis were well cared for among the other skis they took care of. Our room was clean and appeared to be newly remodeled. We had a studio with a murphy bed. The bed was very comfortable, the kitchen adequately stocked. The hot tub wasn't quite as hot as I would like, but the arrangement was very nice. Every staff member was very very helpful.

This is a family friendly place. Costly but well worth it since the location is right next to the ski slopes. Look outside, and there’s the slope. Beautiful right?
However when the skiing is done — the noise begins. In my room I heard full conversations from a family staying next door. Kids running in the hall up to 11pm. Suggestion: bring ear plugs.
Also I request the hotel to get an interior decorator. Toilet leaked at bottom basin. Furniture was so short that I thought it was built for my 4 year old. Trash cans were an odd wicker basket with plastic over it. Balcony door didn’t lock. Toilet practically touches door. And if the towel is on the floor, the door scrubs it aside.
Oh, and you may want to be careful if you bring your own sheets. Housekeepers may not notice it’s yours. Plus, I wish I’d known their pillows were goose. Didn’t realize one of the pillowed were goose and sneezed all night
Arcade sucked. Most of the machines were out of order. Plus, it was coin operated. You would think having a room key would be enough to allow me free access. It would’ve been a nice perk.
There’s only one pool. So be aware — it’s a family hotel. If you’re looking privacy, forget it. There’s also hot tub and fitness room. I believe it’s open until 11pm. Funny how that’s around the time when the noise dies down.
I want to give this hotel a 4/5 because staff members were super friendly. However there were things I hoped my money would have helped to provide.

We recently returned from a 4 day ski trip staying at the Grand Summit Resort. We always review Trip Advisor when planning a getaway to help us make our final decision especially during Covid. Although there were very few reviews on the Grand Summit we took a chance since the skiing looked to be perfect for our ability. I have to say we were pleasantly surprised. We booked a Premier Room with a gas fireplace and Murphy bed. The room was spacious and well appointed. The furnishing were is very good condition and the room looked as it it had been refurbished recently. The fireplace was perfect. There was a coffee/tea/hot chocolate bar in the room with a drip coffee maker. The kitchen had everything we needed; the bathroom was small but functional with a separate sink in the "dressing" area to make getting ready in the morning a bit easier for 2 people. The Murphy bed was too hard for our taste but after a day on the slopes even the floor would have been acceptable. We did not hear any noise from either the hall or neighbors during our stay.
When we arrived a valet met us at the car and took our skis to the outdoor storage unit where they were easily retrieved each morning. We had an issue with our lift tickets not arriving in time but Peter at the front desk worked to get the situation corrected and we were on the slopes by 9am the next morning.
The outdoor hot tub is delightful despite temps in the single digits. Be sure to check to see if you have a beach towel in your room at check in. We did not.
We ate dinner at Harriman's Farm to Table and the food was excellent although there is very little ambiance.
We have staying in similar rooms at Stowe (excellent but very pricey), and both Killington and Okemo (rooms show a great deal of wear and tear). For value, we would highly recommend Mt. Snow's Grand Summit Resort!

Last minute we booked for an overnight stay in VT. All other locations we normally visit were either booked, a 2 night minimum or were averaging $350/night. We booked a deluxe studio for one night and it was perfect. The murphy bed is quite comfortable. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub for the day. Nate at the front desk went above and beyond for us and Jeff the bartender at the hotel restaurant was very attentive - every employee we met at the hotel was very nice.

+1
Decent ski in / ski out location with comfortable rooms. The rooms are basic but the beds and linens are clean and comfortable. The room we had did not have a kitchen/balcony just a 2 beds, a desk, coffee pot with tea, coffee, hot cocoa packets but other rooms do have kitchen and balcony. It’s great for all ages. They have a nice pool and two hot tubs that overlook the slopes, steam, sauna, gym, peloton room, spa, and arcade for kids. It’s pretty quiet after 10. Pub restaurant was ok for food/drinks. They also have a deli with breakfast/lunch as well as pro shop for gear and rentals. Ski check was quick and easy! Quick walk to the lifts from the ski check. Valet parking is included but is always very busy especially on around Sunday check out time but they do their best. On Saturday they had live music in the lobby, s’mores on the back patio, and movie nights on property but might vary based on time of the year. Pro tip: bring reusable cup for water/soda water machine and espresso/coffee machine in lobby. Also pack a cooler with snacks and such.

The Grand Summit Resort Hotel is a beautiful, well-maintained complex with spacious rooms and easy access to local attractions. The week we stayed many of the onsite amenities were closed due to Covid-19. Our rooms were spacious and included a full kitchen. The only drawback was the view out our window was of the roof of a nearby chair lift. Still, it's a beautiful place nestled at the foot of Mount Snow.

Our very clean unit was two adjoining hotel rooms, one with a full kitchen, bathroom, living and dining rooms. The other room had a full bathroom and two queen beds. A good sized tv was in each room. A balcony with two chairs and a table was off the bedroom. Service personnel were prompt and friendly. A wonderful feature of this resort is the Moover, a free bus that transports guests to nearby towns.

My family and I visited Mount snow Resort to view the fall foliage.
This resort is exactly as pictured online.
We stayed in the condos (seasons) which were a 2 minute drive from the Resort.
The condo was very nice and accommodating for a group. It had a fireplace and would be very accommodating for a family that would visit in the winter months to ski.
The resort itself was just so nice. From the moment you pull up to the actual resort itself, it’s just so nice.
Now don’t get me wrong , the road that leads up the the resort wasn’t anything to look at but once you get to the long road that brings you up to the resort it’s just picture perfect.
The resort sits on top of the hill , and the views from there are beautiful.
I couldn’t imagine the views from the ski lifts. (Probably breathtaking)
Their are a bunch of resort workers outside ready to valet your car if needed and their willing to help with your luggage as well.
The resort has so much to offer - spa, pool, hot tubs, gym, sauna, steam room, deli, restaurant, game room, fire pits , I mean the list continues..
it’s crazy.
If you get bored there then theirs something wrong with that.
The deli was nice, slightly expensive, and they only take card no cash.
The workers In there were very helpful and polite and the place was clean.
Food was good.
Front desk workers at the resort were polite and helpful, offering up recommendations for pizza in the area.
The workers at Harriman’s restaurant were also very nice and accommodated us placing a large order at the end of the night.
I would definitely recommend anyone to visit mount snow resort if your in the dover area of vermont.

Hotel was great, ski in, ski out location. Stayed with a family of 4 in a room with two twins and there was plenty of room. Valet service was excellent and upon arrival, they took our skis and had them ready for the next morning in the ski storage area in back on the trail. Service was excellent, everyone was very helpful with our requests. I have read some negative comments about this hotel and I don't get it, yes it's not not the Ritz Carlton but its very clean and the staff was extremely accommodating. You are definitely paying a premium to be slope side. Restaurant on premises was very good and an easy option after a long day of skiing (recommend you make reservations if a weekend).

if you ski or bike at Mt.Snow, this the ONLY place to stay. Truly ski-in and ski-out. Nothing is closer; not even the preferred parking. The rooms have fully equipped kitchens so you can go back for lunch and eat breakfast and dinner in your room. There is a conference center and nice pool. the staff is excellent and quick to fix any problem.
