We're 10 nights into an 11 night stay, the hotel is fabulous super relaxing, whether we were just lucky for the time we we booked who knows but what I can say is that having read many reviews prior to our trip is that the hotel is wonderful! All the staff ( I could name several but there really are to many to name) are amazing, they must all go to a Melia finishing School as they are all (without question) happy, charming, courteous and polite, many hotels could learn a thing a too from whatever training they give their staff as they are all consistently happy, polite and helpful, great work, they really can't do enough for you, well done, Melia your staff are a credit to you! Check-in was easy a wrist band which is also a key to the room very useful! The hotel is pristine, super clean, stylish, elegant yet simple. As said, everyone who works here are extremely friendly and well trained, they really do want you to enjoy your stay, credit to whoever trains the staff a great job well done! From the photos of the room I was worried there wouldn't be enough storage but we had plenty space for the two of us in a premium room, albeit it is all open view it was absolutely fine. The sunbeds were readily available no reserving them at 7am in the morning which was very rerfreshing so no need to set your alarm early for fear of not getting a sunbed something which always annoys me whilst on holiday, at 10am there were still plenty of sunbeds free, again whether that is because of the time of year I cannot say. I can say though, the pool is very relaxing, not to noisy at all. In terms of food, this is one of the most refreshening all inclusive hotels I have stayed in - there weren't lots of stations laid out with a massive amount of food (which you never know how long has been left), its not that type of hotel where people pile their plates hight with food as the quality is enough to not need trying lots of other things, the food is mainly cooked to order or refreshed as is it is used rather than just been piled up with massive's of food everywhere, thus the quality is far superior then most general AI (also less wastage I would imagine)! There are a selection of restaurants which were absolutely great, very fresh food, again excellent service and you never have the impression that they try to save money by not bringing drinks quickly, the restaurants are all served, i.e. no buffets which was a pleasant surprise as even when we decided to go to the buffet it had a premium feeling and not the typical queues and overcrowding at normal AI buffet The location of the hotel is right on the beach albeit there is not much to do outside the hotel (thought a lovely walk) unless you get a cab or fancy a long walk, that said I have not felt the need to leave the hotel as it has everything in terms of food, entertainment and activities so that is not an issue. If you do want to venture out it's around 15 minutes to Melonares in a taxi. We have had the most wonderful time, Paradisus we thank you!

Hotel's Favourite
Wow! This hotel rocks, really. We were not sure what to expect especially as the reviews at the beginning were quite mixed but we were blown away by this hotel, the location, the service and the food quality. We have never been in an all-inclusive, so were not sure what to expect. Check-in was easy and super nice. You get a wrist band which is also a key to the room - very convenient! The hotel is very stylish, very elegant yet simple. Everyone who works there is extremely nice and friendly and well trained. You feel that they want you to feel comfortable and that they want you to enjoy the stay. The pool(s) are all great, water was very warm, and I enjoyed the water activities that start at 12 (only for 1 hour, so if you don't like it, don't worry, it will be quiet the rest of the day). ALL restaurants that we tried out were absolutely great, very fresh food, very good service and you never had the impression that they tried to save money by not bringing drinks quickly enough - on the contrary. I also appreciated the fact that restaurants are all served, i.e. no buffets. This adds to the classy feeling and avoids the "crowds" at the buffet (which is somehow how I imagined an all inclusive hotel - but I was sooo wrong on this impression). Talking about buffet: the breakfast buffet is amazing. There is everything that you wish for and even more. The location of the hotel is also nice. Right at the beach with a little walking street where you can go for miles and miles until you end up in Maspalomas. The beach (which is a public beach) is nice and we also spent some time there. If I have to find some things that the hotel could improve, I have 2 points: - I thought that the opening hours of restaurants were a bit "strange", i.e. there is not that much choice at lunch time. To be clear: it was totally ok and no complaints but I wished they had the Cevecheria also open at lunch time. This bar only has cold food so I was not feeling like eating there in the evening but would have been really nice to go there for lunch. - The rooms are.... small. They are ok as you do not spend a lot of time in the room but compared to the hotel and how "breezy" everything felt, the rooms were nicely decorated but too small. Or at least I was missing a real cupboard. There is only an open shelf in the room and if you are not the most organized person, you always have to look at the mess that you have in the open cupboard (which is even more the case when you travel with a kid). I was also missing one or two shelfs under the sink to put toiletry stuff on it. We will for sure get back to this hotel. One tip: if you can, take a room with open view. It is definitively worth it.

Absolutely amazing experience. We have stayed up other five star Melia hotels before in the past but this exceeded all expectations. A family holiday but for the first time I switched off from work completely. The adult classes in yoga Meditation etc were wonderful. The food was incredible. What made this trip memorable was the staff from the hard working cleaners to the waiting staff everything about this hotel is well worth the money

My family (my wife, our 6-year-old son, and I) chose to spend a week at Paradisus by Meliá in early April 2024, and our experience truly mirrored the name of the hotel – it felt like a stay in paradise. First and foremost, we extend our heartfelt thanks to all the staff members who contributed to making our stay exceptional, from the attentive cleaning staff to the pool attendants, waiters, and concierges. In particular, we'd like to acknowledge a few individuals who went above and beyond and who we connected with just a little bit more than others: Robert (The Shack): His kindness towards our son, encouraging him to engage in conversation and even helping him request a banana independently, was truly appreciated. Yudith (Gastro Hall): Her skill in preparing delicious omelettes (with lots of garlic for me) made our mornings extra delightful. Carmelo (Gastro Hall): He not only assisted in a unique request for a glass jar (for the tooth fairy) but also ensured that my wife received exceptional service during dessert time. Happy wife, happy life. ;-) We also want to commend the staff at the MasCalzone restaurant for providing outstanding lunches that truly satisfied every aspect of our dining experience. The hotel exudes luxury while maintaining a relaxed atmosphere, making it perfect for family vacations. It's a delicate balance, but the hotel makes it easy. Despite its popularity, the property never feels overcrowded, even at the pool area. The cleanliness standards are impeccable, thanks to the dedicated efforts of the cleaning staff, who deserve recognition for their outstanding work. Key highlights and observations: Transfer from the airport takes about 30 minutes, depending on how many stops there are before. If you can take a taxi from the airport to the hotel, just do it. Easy and fast. Highway more or less all the way. You won't need to bring and keep track of any key card. You get a small bracelet (thin wooden RFID token) in a thread around your wrist. Superb solution to access your room and access other services! The Shack's quick and delicious Club Sandwiches were a lifesaver after long hours of travel on the arrival day. Their variety of fast food options, including poke bowls, provided a convenient option before exploring the area. The Gastro Hall, could benefit from better explanation on the hotel's website. Clearer descriptions and photos would help guests understand its concept better. It's essential to note that the Gastro Hall encompasses various culinary stations; Fuego (international cuisine), Mina (steakhouse), Tokimeku (Asian, like sushi and such), Santé (raw and healthy food) and La Guinda (sweets and desserts) - each offering distinct cuisine, rather than separate restaurants. It's one restaurant - with different "stations". Therefore it also couldn't be classfied as a buffet restaurant, because at some stations, they have one or several dishes prepared, but they are only for display. If you want, the chef(s) will prepare it for you. Anyway, the visual presentation and personalized service make it a culinary delight for guests of all preferences and everyone, I'm sure - can find lots of dishes and food to enjoy to the maximum. The Gastro Hall really impressed us and we went there almost all evenings. MasCalzone – Trattoria, offers a serene escape for Italian cuisine enthusiasts, shielded from the sun under parasols, located just above the pool area, so it's calm and a bit secluded. Their delectable pizzas are a must-try - prepared in a real oven with fire. Kanna, located near the pool area, serves fantastic beef skewers and offers an extensive drink selection. The staff are accommodating, ensuring guests enjoy their meals both indoors and by the pool. You can get almost any drink made here. The hotel provides reliable Wi-Fi coverage throughout the premises, catering to the needs of all guests, including Pokémon enthusiasts (3 stops and 1 gym reachable in the hotels premises). The pool area offers convenient towel services, promoting sustainability by encouraging guests to use only what they need. To be clear, you can take as many towels as you want and when you're done, you put them in a bin. No need to bring towels from your room. Think about the environment when you use these services. Also, the hotel area is safe and gated, but you can easily access the beach just by exit and enter a gate. The pools, maintained at optimal temperatures (one larger with 28 degrees and one smaller with 30 lovely degrees), provide a refreshing respite from the heat. The spacious beds in your room offer good comfort, although we found the pillows to be excessively high for sleeping. They're optimal to get that hotel feeling, so we switched to some flatter ones that are more suitable for sleeping on. Our experience was so delightful that we're already planning a return visit later this year - if it's possible. We eagerly anticipate our next stay at Paradisus by Meliá and can't wait to create more unforgettable memories!

Amazing stay We love luxury hotels and go to IKOS at least once a year. We wanted to try here for the good weather and didn’t expect the hotel to be as good as it was. The hotel and grounds are clean and beautiful. We found a beautiful spot on a large sun bed for two each morning with views of the ocean. Yes you have to get up and get your own drinks but can live with that! The week was so relaxing , even though school holidays, never had to q for a restaurant. No trouble getting the sun beds we wanted. Service was great. Everyone so friendly and welcoming. Room beautiful. The personal WhatsApp concierge was great and sorted all our restaurant bookings etc. Kids club utterly amazing! My daughter had the best time there and it meant we could enjoy books and cocktails in peace! They even made pizzas in the Italian restaurant When my daughter was cold at breakfast a lovely member of staff Cornelia lent her her jacket. All staff were so friendly and helpful. It’s a small intimate resort which we would love to return to

Just had to say how amazing this place is. I am staying here with my youngest son who has just turned 18yr old and the holiday was booked two days before travelling. We made the right choice! Our suite with whirlpol is just amazing and so clean. The staff cannot help you enough and are amazing and nothing is any trouble for them. Also just had to say a huge thank you to Ramon (AKA Snakehips😂) and his entertainments team . Ramon is such a nice guy and his team are so attentive, professional and friendly. We loved the live music and general vibe by the beach bar and met some amazing people there. Some great memories have been made over the past few days and we are thankful to have a few more to go also. Thanks so much to all the staff and especially Ramon and the entertainments team!! 👍

Spent a week at the beginning of the Easter holidays here with my husband and one teenager. I had seen some reviews about the food so was a little apprehensive. However we were overall very happy!! Bear with me.... Gastro Hall - main buffet for breakfast and dinner. So much to choose from, I would say go for the 'live cooking' stations for the best hot food. After our dinners here, (we went 2 or 3 times) there were staff asking about how we found the food, think they are trying there best to get feedback after the bad reviews, a good step in the right direction! MasCalzone - pizza/ pasta etc, our favourite restaurant, had lunch and dinners here. Mina - a la carte lunch held in the Gastro Hall - went once, didn't rate it, didn't try again, The Shack - poolside food - excellent food here! Peseta (adults only) - you can only go once but this was absolutely amazing fine dining experience, wish we could have gone back!!! Kanna - great food Lemon Fish - ceviche food (raw etc) very small portions, not for me but husband and child loved it. Can also order food in Gin Ger bar and Vibra - excellent food. Snacks available 24/7 in Gin Ger bar. The staff and service they provided was amazing!! Always saying 'hello' when you pass them and always happy to help. Shout out to the entertainment staff , the aqua aerobics were fab!! We stayed in a double ocean facing room, it was excellent. The mini bar gets re-stocked every morning as well as daily cleaning and a turn down service. Very comfy beds. There was always a sunbed to be found (we went at different times everyday and never struggled). Downsides - lazy people leaving their sunbed towels on the beds when they have finished, why are people so lazy!!! I felt sorry for the staff as they had so many towels to pick up every day. Inconsistency of drinks. (I know, not a major factor but very annoying). I pretty much lived on frozen strawberry daiquiris, which seemed to be made different in every bar??? The pool closes at 6pm, very early, no sunset swimming!

What an amazing hotel, from the quality of the hotel and grounds, the excellent selection of food and drinks, through to the brilliant staff who were always friendly and attentive. It was my wife’s special birthday and the hotel provided a chilled bottle of Cava on the day as well as a surprise dessert and rendition of happy birthday at the speciality restaurant. The brilliant staff at all times throughout the whole hotel really do make this place Paradisus, we will return and have already recommended the hotel to other friends. Thank you
