Camping & Resort Sanguli Salou is often celebrated for its exceptional cleanliness and its prime location close to the beach and Salou's attractions, offering travelers scenic convenience. While the amenities, including various pools and on-site entertainment, receive acclaim, guests have called out their pricing as occasionally steep.
Opinions on the rooms and service are divided; some guests praise the clean rooms and friendly staff, while others report maintenance issues and less-than-ideal service responses. The atmosphere is lively, with enjoyable evening entertainment, although it can be hit-or-miss for some visitors.

We stayed here for 8 nights in the villa paradise. Nice space and very clean, The whole camp site is very clean it is also big, but they have a train going around the park during the day. All staff were friendly. The bar staff were fantastic didn’t matter how busy they were always kept the bar few people deep, so you weren’t waiting long for your drinks. Great entertainment every day from face painting (make sure you get in the queue early as they hand out so many numbers and if you don’t get a number your child can’t get their face painted) animal balloon making pictures with Guli also had a mini disco and band as well. The pools for me could have been heated. But they are kept clean and well monitored no rough playing. The sun loungers are free. I think there should be an area that you must clean your feet before entering the pool as everyone’s walking on the grass area and then going straight into the pool They are shops dotted around which are well stocked. They are a bit pricey for me ok for little bits. There is a Mercadona very close maybe 15-minute walk best to do your big shop in there. There is a takeaway very close to the mini disco food is ok.
Bar Tarraco Service is quick and staff very friendly we had food here 3 times not because the food was great just it’s convenient and after a long day you just want something but for me I wasn’t happy with the food. I found the burger greasy the fries tasteless the curry was ok but cold and if you want garlic bread to make sure you order a few. I know it’s only a euro for one and what do you expect for a euro but this thing is a joke. If your hungry don’t order the pasta dishes as it’s a small portion I had to double check that it was an adult’s portion.
There is a hairdresser and you can get your nails done as well
Check out was friendly and quick.
Over all everyone had a lovely time

Let down by 1 star because when we checked in to the resort we were given a map to find our way to our Villa. We checked in at 12am in the morning and the resort is huge, so atleast expected some help to find it in the dark as we had two small children with us which was an inconvenience
On arrival was very impressed with how modern and cool the resort is.
We stayed in a villa and stayed in VP32. Not the most amazing looking villas but still nice enough. A few pointers, not the cleanest. There was dust on the bed side tables, and crumbs underneath the toaster when we went to make some toast. You are made to leave a deposit of 100 euros which is to be returned after you leave if you left the hotel room in a clean state. So for this rule I'd expect the room to be given to you in pristine condition. Which it wasn't!
We asked for entertainment and was told there wasn't anything as the resort is closing on Sunday as the season has ended. So I'm sure when it's peak season there must be alot to do
We hired bikes from the resort with carriers which is great and we managed to explore alot whilst here
Food in the resort was quiet expensive, so try your best to go to the restaurants outside the resort which are not far at all.
Beach is also walking distance from the hotel which is fab
There was two swimming pools which we managed to use at the weather was still lovely for the end of October.
Plenty of photo areas with animals and the car which was lovely
I read a few reviews on here about their children getting a vomiting and dhirrea bug from the swimming pool. My 5 year old has also got the dhirrrea bug which started whilst we were in the resort and now that we are back in the UK (day 1) he's still poorly. So I'm not 100% sure that it's related to the pool but a massive coincidence it has also happend to us
Overall great resort very fun for children

We have just returned from a 2 week stay here. First impressions were WOW! The site is very clean, tidy & well maintained. (Apart from a few poos floating around the pool of what seemed to be babies.. 🤦🏼♀️) So much to do her activity wise to keep children entertained from ALL ages. Our children were 2,4 & 6. The entertainment is great from tattoos, balloons or face painting before the mini disco to the evening entertainment which entertained the adults as well. The pools were great with several slides for older and smaller people. Only snag we have with this is our 6 year old son was tall enough for the one slide in the African pool but not for the other one ones yet the depth of the pool is the same where the slides come out off. Pools close between 2 and 3 I believe this is to have a reset and tidy up however on two occasions when we came at 3pm there was poo floating around in the pool/on the pool side. So I think it actually closes to stop people hogging the sun beds. From 10am when the pools open for the first session the sun beds are gone within a matter of minutes as people queue up to 15 minutes before. So if you’re like us and have small children and want to be able to see them get to the gates 10-15 mins before hand to get a sunbed. We did this and it still seemed like a fight to get one as parents were sending their children to push in the queue to the front and one family for our duration of our holiday who was Spanish would push in every morning/afternoon and had about 15 towels in their hands, reserved a good chunk of the front sun beds but then the parents didn’t show up for a good two hours later. The one thing we struggled with was the washing machines, we tried to do a load on day 8 of our two week holiday and we went 6 times to the laundrette and couldn’t get a machine to wash our clothes so we ended up driving and taking our washing to a laundrette which was off site. We ate on site at the restaurants as well as using the take away service - can’t fault any of these. Food tasted great and we thought it was reasonably priced compared to sites in the UK which seem to rip you off on drinks & food because you’re on resort. The site is in a great location and the beach, restaurants & shops are all within walking distance. We walked into Salou main town along the front which took us 20 minutes where there are loads more restaurants and shops which are great for gifts! Lidl and Mercadona are both within walking distance from the site too.
Overall we would return, our children never moaned they were bored. We feel like we need a two week holiday to recover from this one though as we were that busy!

As beautiful as it is during the day so terrible it is at night. Logically you would think you are in Salou after all. But dot used to be different. I wanted to give the kids an experience like I used to have here. The experience is now: enjoying a beautiful luxury campsite during the day. Laundry is done for you, beautiful pools, close to the beach, seemingly beautiful new toilet building (locked toilets do not work for half, rain shower does not work for half and if it works then you can choose between very hot or cold) Eating out at Afrikabad is good. I think I'll bring my own chair next time.
At the campsite there are rules about scooters, which you get on arrival on an a5. Helmet requirement, not under 16 and max 10km per hour. 'Delicious' you might think. Except there is no enforcement anyway. After 0.00am animation stops, sports fields close and no more noise may be made. This used to work very well maintained. If you did make a noise, you were called to account for this. They do stand there with a bulletproof vest, a baton and handcuffs, the guards. But these are just for decoration. Music is just rock solid until 2:30. Nothing will be done. Luckily we can go home in two days. You have no use for luxurious and friendly staff if you can't enjoy it because you can't sleep at night...

This was our 2nd year in a row to Sanguli. Overall its a great resort and ideal for families and our children love it. However this year we had mice in our accommodation . On our 2nd night there which was a Tuesday I opened the press to put rubbish in the bin and theres a mouse at the top of the bin. We ran outside with the bag and disposed of it. I went to reception first thing the next morning. and informed them. The lady on reception acted suprised and didnt seem to believe me and translated in Spanish to her co worker's. There was no apology given. She sent a co worker down to the house with me and I showed him the mice droppings. He confirmed yes theres mice droppings and that someone from maintenance would be in touch. The following evening which was Thursday myself and my husband were sitting on the sofa in the kitchen and mice were running in and out from underneath the fridge. Finally on Friday an outside pest control man along with a woman from reception arrived to put in bait boxes. I expressed my disappoinment and told her about the mice running in and out from underneath the fridge the previous evening and with a week still left of our holiday I asked to be moved to different accommodation. Our children were afraid to go into the kitchen since Tuesday evening and there was mice droppings on the sofa and I was not happy about preparing food in there. The lady said a manager would ring us she did apologise which was the first apology that we recieved. The manager phoned my husband and said the resort was fully booked and that we could put our compliant in an e mail to customer care. I wrote the email and they emailed back this week when we are home to apologise and said that its a natural environment etc. We stayed in Villa Aqua at a cost of over 4000 euros for our holiday for 12 nights you expect to be able to relax and enjoy you don't expect to have rodents running around and sharing your holiday with you. We feel at the very least we should of been moved there was no cleaning or anything offered. I have to say I would have given Sanguli 5 stars before this but this experience and their response to it really took away from our holiday and left us very disappointed. I have stayed in many campites throughout the years in France, Italy and Spain in mobile homes not ' Villa Aqua's and have never encountered rodent's before.

The staff are very frindly and professional and the resort is spotlessly clean. We stayed in the Africa lodges which were close to the pools/ entertainment area , lodges themselves are impeccably clean but tight in space. The bedroom and the bathroom configurayin is nonsensicle. For example, to was your hands you have to open the toilet area door walk around your bed and in to the shower area to use the sink! Unhygenic at best.usual kettles, toasters, combo oven/microwave etc. Onsite restaurants are below par but plenty of options nearby on the main strip. Nightly entertainmane was excellent on s few nights and lacking on others.

The environment and the campsite itself are not bad. The pools and common areas are cool. The bungalow was the worst I have ever been in, very small for 4 people and a dog. There is no space in the double room, you can't fit through, you can't open the small closet you have, it collides with the bed and the bedroom door too. (Attached photos). And they sell it for 4 adults and 1 child and 2 dogs maximum. The TV doesn't work, the channels can't be seen well, the cistern also fails, the coffee maker is broken, a disaster. Furthermore, they place us at the end of the campsite, pet-friendly bungalows next to the road, the bungalow without fences so that the dog can escape onto the road and to top it off, the areas like pipican on the other end of the campsite approximately 1 KM. The dog pools, congratulations to the photographer who took the photos on the website. One a puddle as is and the other a mini. There are also no trash cans around the campsite, so the dog poops and you carry it in his bag until you find a container. Summarizing: I DO NOT RECOMMEND IT IF YOU HAVE A DOG.

Very disappointing stay. Main things the internal tracks are like a death trap seen so many accidents and near misses. Cars scooters electric scooters (which are hard to hear approaching) bikes and people using same tracks it’s chaos and so dangerous. Majority of people are speeding along on bikes and scooters. Toddlers and young kids are most at risk. It’s just not safe.
The staff driving around on buggies go too fast also and most of the time are on their mobiles texting so they wouldn’t even see a child in front of them.
Charging extra money for a cot is scandalous when the accommodation is already far too expensive.
The accommodation cost more than a 5* hotel resort, and it is nowhere near the standard of a hotel or self catering. It’s not a five star stay by any means.
Noisy: they allowed groups of teenagers to stay in lodges, some of them didn’t even have wrist bands so they were able to wander in. Partied until early hours in morning until finally security stopped them, this happened four nights in a row. After the first night they should have been evicted as they were inappropriate and as a family resort they should not even be allowed to stay. It’s noisy in general at night, they say it’s quiet after 12 midnight that’s not the case at all.
Kids club is awful. I think out of the 6/7 staff we met only one girl that was nice. The rest would only speak to local kids and completely ignored the rest. It was badly run and most activities didn’t run on time so it was always rushed. Also the number of staff to children is far too low. At one stage there was one staff member with close to 30 children.
No sign of Guli, he appears on stage at mini disco for all of five minutes. We asked about meeting him and pretty much ignored.
The pools are extremely cold. Even the kids in wetsuits didn’t stay in very long.
Paying extra for things like mini golf trampolines etc was very surprised at given the accommodation cost.
Staff in most of the restaurants were pleasant and we found food ok. Two waiters at Africa restaurant were particularly friendly and nice.
The life guards are brilliant and take no messing around. It’s also very good that floaties are not allowed.
All in all we definitely won’t be back and we definitely will NOT be recommending Sanguli to any of our friends or family.

Dear family, First of all, we are very grateful for your feedback as it allows us to know how your holidays have been. Regarding the circulation of scooters, bicycles, etc. by the families that visit us, we inform you that in the regulation that you sign the regulation of not exceeding the limit of 10km/h is registered. In addition, our security team ensures that this is complied with in order to achieve a safe coexistence among all people. In this same sense, our electric vehicles are already manufactured so that none of our teams can exceed 10km/h. On the other hand, with regard to noise at night, we regret the possible inconvenience caused and we will pass it on to the corresponding departments, as the security team works every day to ensure that from 00hrs onwards the internal regulations of maintaining silence are respected. In the same vein, we will also pass on all your comments to the other departments in order to continue improving. We would love to see you again so that we can improve your experience and that you have an incredible time at our resort.

This campsite is beautiful. It has everything to please: many swimming pools, slides, playgrounds, sports fields, superettes, restaurants, laundry facilities, all close to the beach. However, if you want a deckchair, it is better to queue at the risk of ending up without a deckchair or with a broken deckchair. Security guards do not prevent young people from listening to their music at the pool and do not intervene when they show disrespect. Electric scooters should be banned. None meet the 10 km/h or safety standards... again no intervention of the guards. If you want to avoid the horde of disrespectful Dutch, run away! Animations are few and the evening shows are little diversified ... practically every day it is a singing trick followed by disco ... that we can no longer bear to hear after 3 days. This family campsite has only the name. Of course, it is only frequented by families but you have the Impression of being in a city center so crowded! Business is business.

This was a return trip to Sanguli and we had a wonderful holiday. We stayed in Villa Aqua, the accommodation was spotless as was the whole campsite with a clear effort made by staff on the upkeep of the site Fabulous for kids with great pools, play facilities and night time entertainment The resort must get credit for their menus with respect to coeliac disease. Travelling with a child who has coeliac can be challenging and there is a big emphasis out on gluten free provision on the site. Particular thanks to the wonderful guys in the bakery beside the Africa pool who got to know my daughter each day for her bread! My only negative, which is a change I noticed this year and is a huge safety concern is the electric scooters on site. They zip around the campsite in the dark at night, flying round corners and I fear a child will be knocked down soon- we witnessed many near misses. For a campsite that has such a sterling record, I would suggest that these should be banned, at the very least at night- I note many of the recent reviews on this site also raise similar concerns

Dear family, What a joy to read your feedback! We are delighted that you have enjoyed these days, and that your daughter was able to savor the variety of gluten-free food we offer. In addition, regarding this, our restaurants are certified by the Catalan Celiac Association, a distinction held by only 2% of hospitality establishments in Catalonia. Regarding the scooters, we are aware of the issues that the circulation of scooters poses both within and outside our premises. Our resort aims to provide safe vacations for all the families who visit us. Therefore, we are already working on the possibility of prohibiting the use of scooters and electric vehicles for the next season for anyone who does not have a valid reason or documentation for its use due to reduced mobility. We hope to see you again very soon and that you enjoy some days of relaxation😊
