The hotel and its swimming pool are located in an inviting park-like area with sufficient parking spaces. Since I was only there for one night and didn't use the pool, I can't comment on it or the room service. The lady at check-in was very friendly and helpful. In the restaurant, both the service and the quality of the food were excellent. The breakfast was plentiful and of the quality you would expect from a 4-star hotel. However, there are three points that I have to complain about here. When I wanted to put my valuables in the safe before dinner, I couldn't open it because the guest before me had probably locked it when they left. The hotel can't do anything about that. However, it's not a big extra effort if the cleaning staff or, if there is one, the housekeeper take a look at it before the room is released for the next guest. So I had to take my valuables to the restaurant and inform reception. While I was eating, the safe was opened again. I was alone, I had a sandwich at breakfast and then went to the coffee machine for a short moment. When I returned, I was just able to prevent my table from being cleared. In any case, the employee already had the plate and cutlery in her hand. Ladies and gentlemen, this is completely unacceptable, and certainly not in a 4-star hotel. After all, I was only gone for a few minutes because I went to get myself a cup of coffee. And I am definitely not the only hotel guest travelling alone. The hotel management should urgently train its staff on the topic of "customer-oriented behavior" and use this example to show what must not happen under any circumstances. It is also very unfortunate that in a 4-star hotel only coffee machines are set up at breakfast and no filter coffee is offered (at least not noticeably). However, to be fair, the breakfast staff must be given credit for the fact that this area at least is completely understaffed and the employees are totally overworked.

I had a hotel voucher (travel portal) for 2 nights, which I redeemed with my girlfriend. From the outside, the hotel is not a real eye-catcher (seminar hotel)! We had a normal-sized room (free safe), the breakfast was very good and we could reach the large swimming pool next door for free via an underground passage. However, I would have liked there to be a place to hang up wet swimwear in the room or bathroom, but unfortunately that is missing. Parking is also free at the hotel. We did not eat at the hotel (prices for drinks and food are a bit higher), but there are very good restaurants in town that are within walking distance. So we would check in here again.

A pleasant hotel, good service, everyone very friendly.
Varied breakfast buffet. It's a shame that many things (jam, honey, cream cheese) are only available in plastic packaging.
The connection to the Hellenstein Aquarena pool is great. Free use of the pool for hotel guests; there is also a great sauna there, but depending on the offer you have to pay for use.
In the evening we used the restaurant, and we were very satisfied there too.
The rooms are clean, the humidity is noticeable in places (bathroom in the ground floor room smelled damp), otherwise everything is great.
Bathrobes are available for a rental fee.
Great for a relaxing weekend, especially for families with children. I would happily go back.

The rooms are nice, equipped with mini bar and services from the rooms tablet, free wifi in the room, everything was looking good upto when we had dinner we reserved a table for 7:30pm and dinner was 19€ per person, when we sat at our table and got drinks we then went to take food from the buffet to only find no food a d not a lot of choices, especially for kids, we waited 30 to 45mins to see if it got refilled and during that time there was also other people around us waiting to. My wife asked o e of the kitchen staff politely to only get a very rude angry response back saying its coming in German.

Slowly they started bringing something out 1 at a time and because everyone was waiting it was gone again in seconds.

I would only recommend to stay in a room for a night and nothing else, staff is rude, food choice is very poor, and service is poor, not all speak English language

All in all, a success:
A great location for excursions and even parking at the hotel is free (that's rare)
Friendly and helpful staff, both at reception and at the food. Thank you for that 😊
A delicious breakfast buffet with plenty of choice. I love it when you can choose your own coffee in the morning 😍 Cappuccino, latte macchiato... everything your heart desires.
The free access (through the bathrobe tunnel) to the swimming pool next door is cool. Well organized. You get a chip at reception for consumption/sauna fees and then pay for everything at the end of the day in the hotel. A really brilliant idea.

Unfortunately no greeting from the staff, absolutely no interest in the guest, lots of small children in the hotel, the public swimming pool which you can use is great!,
Breakfast is good and plentiful,
Charging 4 euros for half a liter of mineral water in the room is almost extortionate

We had a nice room with a balcony, unfortunately our room neighbors were smokers and that meant that when the window was open, the smoke spread throughout our room, which was very unpleasant for non-smokers like us. With temperatures around 30°, the windows obviously had to stay open in the evening and at night! Unfortunately, there are no barriers (privacy screens) on the balcony to separate it from the neighboring balconies, which greatly limits privacy. Otherwise, we can definitely recommend the hotel, very friendly staff, a large selection at breakfast and not to forget the adjacent indoor pool with outdoor pool, which is easily reached via a passage in the basement. We would be happy to come back, but next time we will stay in the non-smoking area.

The room was very clean and nicely furnished. Great shower. Unfortunately we didn't have a balcony. The room faced the thermal bath and was quite dark, but it was always pleasantly cool on hot days. Very quiet in the evenings, you could sleep with the window open. Breakfast was plentiful and nicely prepared. Freshly ground coffee in all variations was available. The hotel entrance area is very dark, as there were a lot of dark colors on the walls and furniture, it could be made more friendly. The underground access to the thermal bath and the free use is great.

I was here with a larger group and was completely satisfied: bright, clean room, extremely friendly and quick staff (even late at night at the bar), very (!) extensive breakfast buffet that really left nothing to be desired. Plus use of the Aquarena car park at no extra cost (not necessarily usual in this price range)

Very nice staff, the individual wishes are taken into account.
The hotel is very quiet with a short walk to the city.
Since the bathroom is right next door, the hotel is highly recommended for a short break with relaxation and proximity to the city.
Located on top of one of the Heidenheim hills, the view is also very beautiful and reinforces the recreation factor in the autumn ambience.
