From the back of the hostel you can ski/board to a few different chair lifts, so a perfect location. There is a supermarket near by and different places to eat, there aren’t many bars in les Menuires so we drank in the hostel a few nights which wasn’t bad, starting out 5 euro a pint. I had dinner there once( beet starter & vegan bowl main) and it was great tho my dessert never showed up. There was a big group of us, some of the rooms people would find small and tight but it’s a hostel and your right on the slopes. Breakfast is decent. Staff happy and friendly....

First time we tried staying in a chic hostel and we had plesant stay. The family room was compact but worked fine for us, the beds and bedlinnen were of high quality. The only thing that was not great was the small bath tub, and lack of shower curtain, a modern shower would have been a huge improvement. The service was very friendly and relaxed. The atmospere in the lounge was very chill, with excellent handcrafted cocktails and good Gin Tonic, like Citadell and Fever Tree Tonic, 10 euros. Breakfast was good, with fresh fruit, bread, crepes etc. Only lacking some ham or salami. We had dinner a couple of times, but with mixed results, good steak tartare, but not so great fish or stew, there are however plenty of good restaurants within walking distance from the hotel.

We stayed in a family room with our 2 boys. The room was compact, but suited us fine (as long as we kept everything tidy and in its place). It was very clean and the beds were comfortable. The only downside was the very small bath and and lack of a shower that you could stand up in. We loved the communal area, which felt very homely and welcoming. The food was some of the best that we had in Les Menuires, but could be improved with more choice for our children. We would have eaten in the restaurant more if there was a greater variety for our kids. The staff couldn't be more welcoming, friendly, helpful and accommodating. Thank you! The hotel is perfectly located for the slopes. You are able to ski in/out - a short ski down to the La Masse, Doron and Menuires lifts.

Recently stayed here for 7 nights, enjoyed our stay but definitely room for improvement. Positives: great location, able to ski in and out of hostel, bus stop only a few hundred meters away, very close to all shops, bars, restaurants etc. Staff are incredibly helpful and pleasant. WiFi fast and works in all areas. Rooms are comfortable and cleaned to a high standard. Bar area is relaxing and nice vibe, occasionally very busy. Negatives: the food available is the principle downside, breakfast is both basic and limited but adequate, mostly muesli and bread, few small croissants. Evening food is much more limited, we were staying half board and from the menu had only 4 starters and mains to choose from the menu each evening. Clearly over 7 days this means a degree of repetition plus very limited options for vegetarians. The soup of the day and the dessert options didn’t seem to change frequently. The bathroom of our room consisted of a small bath with a mixer hose above, no shower curtain or screen. As a 1.8m individual it was impossible to have either a bath or shower. Was always plenty of hot water. Overall if returning to Les Ménuires would look at other options but wouldn’t be too disappointed to stay here again.
