The hotel is in a good spot, near to the cathedral and square as others have mentioned. We thought that for the price though, it is a bit tired. We were in room 113 which is on the front so above the road and in warmer weather, there is no air-conditioning, so you need to open both windows (there is secondary double glazing) which was quite tricky and then all the street noise came in... Not a good start... Then the bed was _very_ uncomfortable. Hard as a rock so when I woke up my back ached for quite a while... We didn't try the restaurant or bar. The carpark is extra and you can't seem to book it - just get in early, but as mentioned, it is very secure.

Location near to Calais, rooms basic but clean. Fine as a one night stop over but not a holiday destination. Continental breakfast fine, parking charged as an extra. Can recommend the local Chinese for a fab meal.

The location of this hotel is great, a couple of hundred yards or so from the Cathedral in one direction, and the main square with its bars and restaurants in the other. The car park is small, maybe room for 15 cars or so, and cost 7.5 Euros overnight, but was locked up at night so very secure. There seemed to be parking allowed in the main square if the car park is full. The hotel is a typical Ibis, staff spoke English and were helpful and friendly. The rooms are basic and decor a bit dull but they have en suite, tv, OK beds all you need really. No in room safe for valuables though, or air conditioning so was a bit warm overnight. Overall for the money (£68 for a Saturday night, without brekko) a fair price.

A rather run down hotel - loads of woodchip wallpaer and bath-towels like sandpaper. No bathmat in a very slippery bath. The bed was most uncomfortable. The staff however were friendly and the location was terrific.

The room was small and 'tired' and there was only one pillow each. On the plus side, the breakfast buffet was good with plenty of choice. The hotel was located just off the centre of town so it was not far to walk to bars/restaurants etc. The parking was secure, although you did have to pay extra. In all, for B&B for 2 and parking the bill was over €100 which I feel was a bit much. I have paid less for much better.

A great hotel situated in the heart of the town and within easy walking distance of bars and restaurants. I was disappointed, upon arrival, to find the hotel restaurant was closed for the weekend - it would have been so easy to let me know beforehand by e/mail? This moinor set-back was cushioned by the nearness of the town centre but could have been important if I had arrived late and unable to get a seat at a local restaurant. Overall - an enjoyable experience.

Exactly what you would expect from an Ibis hotel - very small clean room with clean bed linen & comfy bed.. Bathroom ok but in need of an update. Our room faced on to the main road & our sleep was disturbed by traffic noise & refuse collection at 5:30am. Not the Hotel's fault but would recommend asking for a room facing the courtyard. Parking is a lottery on 1st come 1st served basis & costs 7.50 euros

Town centre location close to cathedral, shops, market, restaurants. Small room, but fine for a one-night stopover. Bathroom functional, but rather old. Staff friendly and helpful. Car park in courtyard. Fine self-service breakfast.
