We went on a trip with IMSERSO, the beds were very good, the average cleaning was poor, especially in the bathroom. The food was horrible, and the dining room service was slow. After complaining, it improved a little, but unhealthy food for older people, the workers the best of the hotel

All very well. Food, room and very good relationship with staff.
I recommend it.
The location, better impossible.
The small bathroom.
We're a group of eight people.
We have come through the Imserso program.
It is very likely that if I come here go my account that I will stay at this hotel.

Very good choice for visiting the Escorial, view from some rooms. Reduced parking (arrive early because public parking Cherot) and column of taxis in front of the door. Basic breakfast included in the room price. Various restaurants with beautiful terraces Place de la Constitution within walking distance.

Honestly, everything about this hotel was bad except the beds, which were very comfortable.
The walls are made of paper and you can hear the neighbors absolutely everything.
The cleaning lady opened the door at 9:00 and told us that they had told her that we had already left. Checkout was at 12. Not only did he wake us up, he invaded our privacy and started talking to us about what they had told him, while we were still in bed, instead of apologizing and leaving. No, he did not apologize at any time.
Lastly, the restaurant... If you want to eat there, take almax, because otherwise you will be unable to sleep. Very greasy food and the service, although attentive, leaves a lot to be desired.

Very pleasant experience, the hotel staff are a charm and we resolved all the doubts that arose during the stay, the hotel has its charm and the rooms are quite good, it is located a stone's throw from the Escorial monastery and a good area of restaurants and bars, and I also know that there are rooms with incredible views of the monastery. A tip in their favor is that they allow the stay with your dog and received us with a bed and feeder/drinker for them, we also had a problem with the air conditioner but resolved it without delay.
As an observation, not a criticism, I would say try to improve the continental breakfast as much as possible by adding perhaps some fruit or cold meat.
In conclusion, our stay was very pleasant and we will definitely return.

We stayed at this hotel for our wedding and the experience was terrible. We booked a suite to prepare for the wedding day, but the room door wouldn't open. The only solution we were offered was a lower room, right next to the groom's room, where there was not even room to hang the wedding dress. When I asked where I could hang the dress, I was told to hang it in the shower, which is unacceptable.
After two hours of arguing with the staff, they finally managed to open the room and we were able to prepare. The next day, as we gathered our things, the door failed to open again, leaving us unable to access our belongings. Despite asking not to enter the room until we could get our things out, the staff ignored our request and entered anyway, which is illegal. They called us seven hours later to inform us that they had taken our things out and that they were in reception.
In short, this hotel leaves much to be desired. The treatment was appalling and the management of the situation unacceptable. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.

I have stayed here on different occasions for work reasons and in general the hotel is very good, especially its staff is charming.
📍 The location is very good, next to the monastery, five minutes from the bus station and in a lively area on weekends.
🛏️ Room is small but cozy. The bed is very spacious and comfortable, it has adjustable heating. What I didn't like was the open closet, otherwise it is well equipped. 🚽 You can tell in the bathroom that the hotel is old, but it is fine, very clean.
🥗 The food in the restaurant and cafeteria area is good and they have quite complete breakfasts.
📡 Free WiFi connection throughout the hotel.
👨🏻💼👩🏻💼 Very friendly staff, both at the reception and in the restaurant.

Right in the center, very good location.
Triple room with monastery view
of the Escorial.
Poor cleaning in the bathroom. Otherwise it is nice, comfortable and large beds. There is a whirlpool bathtub but I have not used it.

You couldn't get a better location than this small friendly hotel only minutes from the Monastery of San Lorenzo. The twin room we stayed in was spotless and had a well-equipped mini-bar that didn't break the bank. The heating system was excellent. (A great relief as our visit was in February during the coldest weather and heaviest snowfall seen for thirty years).
We tried breakfast in the small restaurant adjoining the cafeteria and tapas in the latter and both were tasty, economically priced and served by a very pleasant camarero. This hotel was a much nicer experience than many four star establishments but the big problem is that there is no parking or garage. We had to park in a parking bay on the street opposite the hotel or in a public car park around the corner. Neither of these were a cheap option and the street parking required regular euro top ups.
However, El Escorial is well worth a visit if you like religious art and have an interest in tombs, as the Monastery is awash with both and it is only a short drive to Franco's burial place at the Valle de Los Caidos. Both proved to be a fascinating if eerie experience given the wintry weather and lack of tourists.
The town itself has many good restaurants, obviously catering to visiting madrilenos, and some quirky local bars and cafes. The plethora of graffiti which is becoming noticeable in many Spanish towns is a disappointment. I wouldn't plan to spend more than one or two nights here unless you intend to use this as a base to tour the other historical towns of Avila, Toledo, Salamanca and Segovia and then a hotel with better parking would be appropriate. However, there is a good rail and bus service directly into Madrid if you prefer not to risk the ever increasingly complicated road system which now surrounds Madrid.

Very close to the town sights, particularly the monastery, but no views. Room was disappointing because the bathroom extractor fan was not working (and not fixed during our two nights stay) nor was the room temperature controller. The walls allowed a lot of noise from the next room to disturb us until 3am on the second night. Staff were generally very helpful, but the place had a run down feel to it. Breakfast buffet was good. We were on a group tour so our experience might be different to solo travelers.
