We stayed here for one night during a layover flight. The hotel was a 10 min drive from the airport, it offered breakfast and the bedroom was clean and comfortable. We had to ask for a late check out because our flight was leaving later at night, and they promptly accommodated our last minute request. I’d definitely consider booking a room if I’m traveling through Houston again.

On arrival at Houston you need to phone hotel for pick up shuttle location, transfer to hotel was about 10 mins. The hotel is dated but was adequate for an overnight stay. Restaurant is on-site and food was good and reasonably priced. Continental breakfast is included in the room rate, good selection of cereals, yogurts, fruit & pastries. It's an extra $5 for full breakfast. Shuttle to airport leaves every 30 mins and can be busy as there are only 10 seats on minibus.
Overall, although basic it's good value for the money and fine for overnight stay.

I am very impressed with the Ramada. wyndmam by the George Bush international airport. I had booked online after arriving from a 14 nour flight. Checking in only took a minute and with a swipe of my credit card I had key in hand. Room super clean and bed and pillows so comfortable I had no trouble sleeping. When the wake up call rang at 7am I was totally refreshed after relaxing under the massage showerhead and then I enjoyed a full free breakfast for all guests. I will stay here again when in Houston. I would love to give this a better review as the hotel is clean enough and location to the airport is close enough and fine for the money. That being said I have never been treated to poorly by a staff member in a hotel ever. The overnight person on staff was rude and curt that I had lost my temper with her. The staff that checked me in was fine but I needed oxygen and it was after 11 PM. While I was checking in the staff at the time heard me on the phone trying to get oxygen delivered and I asked if they could have it sent up to my room when they arrived. They said fine. When I got off the elevator and looking for my room it was so far from the elevator that when I realized it was too far to go back and ask for another room. When the oxygen was being delivered I received a call from the front desk about 12:30 AM and in a tone on the phone this person was rude and would not hear me out about the long walk and said I had to come down and sign. When I got down there it got ugly. I was angry and told her how rude she was she began to argue with me and got worse. Finally the delivery person took the unit up to my room and I did not sleep all night I was so angry. One bad apple spoiled the stay. In the morning she was there leaving and I was speaking with the morning manager while this person kept trying to talk over me. It was useless and made the entire 24 hours of the time there and flying home stressful. As a cancer survivor I will survive this but never stay there again.

My nephew was transiting Houston so I got him a room so he could have a place to drop his bags while he went to get a PCR test. I asked the front desk to allow me to pay for the room. They sent me a CC Authorization form. Within hours of sending the form, multiple charges (Uber Eats, Venmo) began to show up on my AMEX card. I've been traveling in Istanbul, Turkey for the last 5 months (living in Florida) and never had any issues with this card before. I was forced to cancel my card and have a new card shipped from the USA to Turkey. Avoid this hotel, I'm convinced there is at least one bad actor who stole my credit card details and created a nightmare international travel scenario where I had to shut off my travel card and wait for a replacement.

I am really sorry to report this, but there were cockroaches of all sizes in the room. The alarm clock was broken, and the room itself was just absolutely disgusting. There were used towels stuffed behind the bed, and trash strewn about the room. For example, plastic straws and as I stated, used towels. With all due respect, this experience is now part of my family's quintessential hotel nightmare story.
The hotel itself was in a state of disrepair. There were towels laid about the hotel presumably to dry the floor along with "do not slip" signs around every corner. There also seemed to be repairs taking place at various stages but were left unattended and dangerous. For example- exposed wiring next to an obviously flooded ceiling.
When we checked-in, we had to wait in a two person line for over one hour because the "system crashed". The one positive that I will say is: your staff was VERY VERY kind, welcoming, and accommodating. With that said, I felt that the kindness came from a place of empathy because they were probably aware of the conditions we were facing in this hotel.
I do wish you the best of luck in turning things around. Thanks.

We have a very stringent protocol for issues such as yours. We have a very reputed nationwide company that maintains our facility for any pest control issues. Please know, your description of your stay is highly unusual and does not represent the high standards we aim to achieve as our hotel does not have roaches and rooms are being inspected regularly. Our housekeeping staff is held to a very high standard and we appreciate that you've informed us of a need to address housekeeping policies and procedures. So, it is what it is - a cheap hotel near the airport and you get what you pay for. Although the room was decent, the service at the front desk both checking in and checking out was just horrible. Very surprising for major chains like Ramada and Wyndham that the staff at this location was not trained better. They weren't busy, so there was no excuse for lack of service and unprofessionalism.
As stated before, the room was decent. Fairly spacious and comfortable with standard amenities that were all just want we needed. It all seemed clean and tidy, but the bathroom could use a little upgrade or refresh. Only problem in the room was the room safe did not work.
The hotel does offer a free shuttle to and from the airport, but does not run on a convenient schedule and seemed very slow. You are better off just paying for a Uber which wasn't very expensive anyways.
If I had to stay there again because I had no other options, I would, but I can not recommend this place nor would go back if I had a choice.

They never answered our queries by email, so, as we were unable to do a late-checkout, we had to pay for 2 hotel nights to only have been there for 9 hours. There was no hot water in the showers, and breakfast was: a water + a mini-juice + a cereal bar in a paper bag. We paid extra thinking it would be better than that. They gave us rooms on higher floors but the elevator was not working, so we had to carry our luggage up and down several floors ourselves. The night we arrived we booked transportation back to the airport but "they forgot" so we had to take an Uber.-

I booked a stay here because I drove to Houston to fly out of IAH. Let me say this, I'm losing a whole lot of faith in hotels "by Wyndham" as if it will make the hotel seem better. A bit of advice for those seeking to book a room here via a travel site. The pictures don't show the real look of the place. Do a Google street view and you'll see what I mean. First off, the door to my room did not latch to the frame. Instead it hit the wall next to the door frame. If you walk in to your room thinking that door is just going to fall closed on its own, you will look back and see it's not properly latched. Anyone can push that door open. Then, there were many gnats in my room. The parking lot was not well lit at all. The sewers in the parking lot were deep so my vehicle would hit these spots and I thought my axel would snap. Best part, the doors aren't locked at all. No need to use the key card even though there was a card reader next to the door. This place was a total fail. I wasted so much money choosing this place. Avoid at all costs!
